Universal DVD Remote Control

No way to use app/No response from developer. This app has extensive list of DVD brands but requires that an email be sent to the developer to receive activation instructions. No one ever replies to the email request and there is no way to use the app. It just takes up space on the device. It is completely useless.

Lost the DVD remote, during a move. Procrastinated about investing in a universal remote. Found the app., tried it and within minutes was able to get the DVD player to play the movie. Easy to setup, because I'm not tech savvy, but this was remarkable. Thankyou.

Works well with my old Toshiba vcr/dvd. Only thing I could see improving this would be to eliminate the buttons that are not available to individual units.

No where in the description of the all does it say you need to meet specific criteria for your phone to use this app. Wasted my time downloading it when a note within the app description about needing ir capabilities would have told me I couldn't use it. But then I guess they don't get the high download numbers.

It works for my DVD Player. Well done! Everything looks good to me except the interface, also if possible please put everything in one screen so that we don't have to scroll up and down to access the controls.

A passable utilitiy. Works fine, good even with my DVD player. Okay with any standard DVD player; controls on Menu decent. Kinda ugly interface; but easyto understand. The ads aren't much of an issue for us. Alright for tinkering around with.

I haven't had a remote for my DVD player in years. I downloaded this app and it worked immediately. No Bluetooth. No setup. Just picked the brand and clicked it right on. In looooove 😁

Simple and Clean UI. Verified in plain, clear terms that my phone doesn't Have IR. Thank You. No Intrusive ads on start. I'd give it a higher rating if I could have used it. From what I did see, I'd recommend a try.

I can't use it for now, but I think it was useful to others. So I rate 3 stars for now because you don't have a Devant model of DVD. Plss add Devant DVD because that's my DVD and I lost my remote. I hope it can be useful.

I was looking for YiShang DVD remote. No where to find. Not even on Mi Remote control. So, if you can't find what you are looking for, just search for another app. The app itself may not be perfect but it is pretty useful

I bought an old DVD player that also plays other discs from Goodwill. It did not come with a remote. I found this app and surprisingly it had the brand of the player, Apex, which I had never heard of. Bottom line this App Works!

It says I need an external IR Blaster I'm not paying for that when I can just easily by the goddamn remote instead 🤦 which defeats the purpose of having this app 😒 what happened to the good old days when you just have to press it a code and then press and hold the power button until it turns off or on or whatever

Found the "remote" needed super fast! And if it doesnt work gives you an option to send in your devices modle number so they can create one for it!!

This app came to my rescue when a physical remote control failed. The layout is simple and intuitive and at the time of this review no annoying adds (I don't mind adds at all developers deserve their pay)

Functional! Superior to the Quick Remote that comes installed on my LG. Old Toshiba DVD player. This is the only app that worked at all with it and it has the same buttons as my remote did. 5 Stars from me.

Awesome experience. They just need to add functions like equalizer. That's my only problem. It's needed so that someone can select surround, virtual and so on. Thanks

Very good app it worked on my modified DVD though you have to search from a variety of options but you cannot fail to get positive results,i love it.

Fantastic not even going to lie. I found an old lg dvd player that only had two buttons, downloaded this and within minutes the dvd player was now usable. Didn't have to buy a new one just cause i lost the remote

Stupid Facebook Lite ad that straight up refused to leave my screen and navigated straight to PlayStore each time I tried to navigate away! Uninstalling immediately!

The app indicates my phone doesn't support IR blaster which is fine I can't really rate the app cause my 1200 dollar phone doesn't support ir blaster it's clearly my loss then I can't rate this app properly just don't know if it works even with ir blaster

Picked the band went through maybe 4 options and boom it works. Very easy, and if you cannot find your DVD player under the brand they make it available to you!

Wish I could give less. Didn't work on my JVC Xv-y360a DVD player. When I went to email the device details from the app link, all the details were incorrectly uploaded off the app. What a waste of time

Does exactly what it says, you can choose from different brands and styles and save your most used remotes

Needed to make a blu ray player work. Needed to change settings and this made it possible to use a remoteless Blu ray player that was given as a gift.

Lost my old Toshiba DVD player remote & I wanted to resume workouts available only on DVD. This universal remote works perfectly - it's never failed me!

HORRIBLE!For this app, you have to have a, " External IR Booster!!" Which my phone, ( a Samsung Galaxy A10 E) doesn't have! They should include more ways to hook up, including wifi! Do not waste your time on this horrible app!!
