Universal Music Widget

Not working, sadly. Also keeps crashing repeatedly. Just three circle buttons on transparent backgroumd look perfect on a black wallpaper screen. Would be nice if it actually worked..

Have sent error report... this app was exactly what I wanted - minimal widget control over active music app. Unfortunately it keeps crashing despite notifications being turned on, sometimes in settings screen, sometimes after a few minutes of working time. Please fix then will deffo increase ratings. I do agree with some comments regarding selecting the applicable player - this would be a nice to have.

Spent about 10 or 15 minutes trying to make it work, but no luck. I can't tell which back ground to double tap to open settings, why not just an icon? And never saw where to pick which music player it should be operating, which is presumably under settings which I could not find, why does it let me create a widget without insisting I tell it which music app it should be operating?

I got rid of my music widget, pandora widget, spotify etc and put this one on my lock screen and main screen and it works well. Note2 4.3. When playing local mp3's the widget does not show any picture or text, although the buttons work. Not sure what's going on here, but it works perfectly with Pandora.

Doesn't work. Enabled notifications in security settings and app settings, cleared data/cache of it and Spotify several times, rebooted several times, followed all directions, just doesn't display music information.

It won't work with the default music player. The album art won't show, but sometimes the controls themselves will work if the widget isn't force closing. Other than that, it's a perfect idea.

This app is the exact concept that I was looking for with the exact design in my head but it is too buggy and always crashing 😑

I used this previously with third-party launchers, and it was great. However, it's not working now, even after allowing notification access for Android 5.0+.

Looks great with the theme on my phone would have easily rated it 5 stars if I didn't see "Unfortunately, Universal Music Widget has stopped" pop up on my phone every 5 minutes! Please fix

Good and very basic music widget adding support for the stock music player on LG Phones but I would suggest that you might want to add a bit more customization features to it.

I like the simple 3 buttons widget although on my launcher it has to be a 4 columns and 1 row in size for the buttons to display correctly.

But it doesn't immediately recognize that you're playing music, so you have to skip a song back and forth to get it to notice

You need to turn on notification access if this isn't working.

So pretty, but it doesn't work consistently. One night stand? Sure. Wife? Nah.

It doesn't detect my stock LG music player because it has a special place in the notification drawer...

So, the widget pauses and plays my music when I tap the pause and play button for rocket player, but it doesnt show any info, doesnt show the album, and when I tap on the widget to take me to the rocket player, it goes straight to the baby crying detector. it seems like a really nice widget. But I cant use it like this

Used this widget all the time on kitkat but doesn't work on my new LG G3 running Lollipop.

Works great for most of the music players. Make sure to enable notification access, then reinstall the widget on the home screen.

Realy buggi, most of the time wont work.
