The wdw lines app is a wildly better developed app - more features, better selecting/planning setup, ability to add notes, and significantly better (more modern) color scheme/visuals. I hope they bring some of their improvements/ effort to this version.
Very helpful resource. I have used this app for touring at both Disney and Universal. I feel like the Disney wait times were more accurate, but overall a great tool for planning a Disney or Universal trip. The website is great too. Definitely try the touring plans to save yourself from waiting in long lines.
Very useful... Using this app plus staying on the property (so had express pass and quick arrival to the park) was able to do everything easily using the two day plans. Would be nice if they could figure out how to link rides (in the plans) to their descriptions in the book....
Lines helped us have two amazing days at Universal Studios Florida. It simplified the process of choosing what to do next while we were in the park. The expexted wait times versus posted wait times calculated in the app were accurate and saved us hours of standing around. Any future visits to the park will include this app on our phone.
This app makes your park visit easy! I always plan my Disney, and now Universal, trips using Touring Plans. It practically eliminates wait times and helps you to spend time having fun rather than waiting in lines. Plus you get the best insider advice about shows, rides, food and everything else about the parks.
This app was very useful in planning and using it in the park! Well worth the cheap price for the year subscription. We rode almost every ride at both parks with less than a 10 minute wait, in the middle of June!
unfortunately, the wait times were largely underestimated. my app had us waiting anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes on all rides. reality was 10 to 35 minutes. a better predictor would be to check the universal app wait times and divide by 2 for the Express pass wait times. everyone has Express pass which makes it less of a value. still 50% less wait times is something but you shouldn't expect to not wait at all. I went on a 1 to 2 level day. also, child swap inefficient.
Amazing way to plan your trip. So very up-to-date with wait times. Every menu available. My only complaint is that I couldn't rate this as 10 stars.
I can't say enough about this app. It made the daunting task of traveling to Universal by myself easy and fun. My experience at the parks were filled with joy and I truly believe this app made that possible.
I used this app & the Disney Lines app last year and I was amazed at how helpful they were. We easily did everything we wanted to do with little to no waits. I will never leave home again without them.
I had no clue how to plan my day at Universal. This app takes the stress and guess work out of planning. I would not visit Universal or Disney without the Touring Plans app. The app also helps me choose the best day to schedule my vacation months in advance.
The best app for the parks. Not only gives the actual ride times and posted times but lets youknow if you should wait to ride because wait times are going down. The universal app is good i find myself using touring plans much more. Get the subscription amd personalize a plan for you. Best money ever spent
For an app i had to pay for i wasn't impressed. didn't think the wait times were incredibly accurate, found the app inconsistent at best.
Very poor experience using this app. Inaccurate line estimates. Poor selection of rides to do. Definitely NOT worth the money.

This app is my trusty sidekick for every Disney trip and has never steered me wronf with touring plans and line estimates. It is also so easy to use!

Costs money?? Downloaded the app and immediately found I had to pay for a subscription to use it. That's annoying. There are free apps out there. Meh

Worth every penny! It estimates ACTUAL wait times, not just the posted times provided by the free sites. The Chat feature alone makes all the difference, too. Tons and tons of useful info and gives you full access to everything on the website, plus the Crowd Calendar (based on wait times, not number of people milling about) and even a money back guarantee. I joined Lines in 2010 and have never looked back!
