Universal Orlando® Resort App

The Android App is VERY slow. When I open the App it takes about 1 minute before the Dashboard displays. When I navigate to other areas of the App there are additional delays for each step. Fix this obvious performance issue, Universal. 5/22 Update - The App now opens instantly and all pages load immediately. Great job!

A jack-of-all-trades app, but master of none. I think they had to many good ideas to get into this app, but they could not execute most of them. The only thing that worked was the wait time. Placing orders and even paying from this app is a hit or a miss. I could not get the interactive map to work and tried two phones. How can one locate places, suchs as restrooms, if the map does not know where I am?

Universal Orlando resort is one of the best vacation spots in the entire United States, however this app is one of the worst apps I have ever tried to use. So many usability issues could be solved if they would just do some testing with people actually in the park trying to figure out things. For example, wait times on this app is completely useless. I can look at a map of you but then I have to tap on each one to figure out what the wait time is, and no way to filter out things. SIGH.

You can't leave a tip for your server if you order from the app while sitting at the table. We ordered from the app and didn't have any cash on us and felt absolutely terrible when we couldn't tip. Our server was very kind about it, but she said it happens all the time. It's useful to have the line times available, but it'd be much better if it had wait time for both the express line and the regular.

I really love this app! Helps me find things easily, and discover new things in the parks. I would give it 5 stars if I could write a review for different restaurants, stores, etc. Other than that, this is a really helpful app for information, scheduling, and management!

It's great for parks, but it's impossible to link my credit card, I wrote support team and said it was a known issue for international cards... Incredible for a touristic park. it was one of the best advantages I saw for time managing. Instead I had to spend an hour in line to buy food

Full of bugs or no good for UK guests. Tried addong on park passes for all in my party. It asks you to scan them then constantly says scanning error. Tried to add UK credit cards and it complains either about expiry date (i was entering it correctly) or that it cant save at this time. Poor.

The app has some good and some bad. I had no issues adding tickets and the wait times were always accurate. However, the mobile food ordering and purchasing express tickets just doesn't work. On wifi or mobile data it never loads. If you want a map of the park or quick access to wait times, the app is fine. Just don't expect to make any purchases.

Good app, but 2 annoyances. None of my MC or VISA is accepted, so mobile ordering is not possible. No reason for failure, cards are in use with gpay and offline. App does not remember the chosen park, need to set filter again and again.

So buggy. Tried to add a payment method and it kept saying my cards expiration date needed to be "beyond the current month or after" which doesn't make any sense because my card expires in 26 and last time I checked its 22! I guess I won't be giving them any more of my money since my perfectly valid credit card isn't good enough for them 😉 Hire a consulting team to fix Universal's TERRIBLE app and equally terrible website!!! There are so many out there that can actually make it work 👎👎👎👎

Terrible. Can't add an international credit card to wallet on this app. All international visitors are unable to use mobile order. What a joke. Not a problem for Disney. Much smoother experience with their app.

The app is a must but it can get annoying at times. The user interface could be better and I feel they could add features that could greatly enhance the park visit ESPECIALLY when your waiting on a line for 60 minutes. Trivia, mini games and a point to prize system of some kind. Imagine, rack up points from walking or waiting on line and get free buttons, stickers, merch or whatever. I would visit TWICE AS MUCH! Hell, they could even go the route of pokemon go or something. Wait times are bad!!!

Mobile ordering doesn't work. Cant register card details, using multiple UK based cards. Problem is you can't eat in some restaurants without mobile ordering... Loading the tickets onto the app is useful Ride Q times useful But only part works.

Very useful in getting around the resort. A paper map would have been frustrating. It can be used for much more, but for me It was worth the download just for use of the interactive map.

Tried to set up payment, said I need to add what country in the billing address, but it will not let me click on the country, so it will not add my payment! This needs fixed.

Getting your account deleted is a pain- has taken me over two weeks and it's still not deleted. Theres not "account deletion option", you have to contact customer support. I also hardly used the app while visiting the park.

Only half works, cannot add a visa card, I presume because it's a UK one (looking at other comments), poor really considering that should be a basic thing to sort.

Didn't have all spots both shopping and dining. Didn't give much info on anything. Disney one was much better and that one still crashes a ton

Barely useful and untruthful. Ride times are egregiously underestimated and the search option might as well not exist.

I love this app so much it was literally perfect for when we were there, but what it would make it even better is when I would be able to click on photos to look at them in full size, plus more photos in generall I think would help people who are planning their trip even more!!!😍😍👏🏻👏🏻

It keeps saying my login is invalid and that it was updated recently so I need to make a new account but I had just logged in last night with no issue. If I try to make a new account it keeps saying that my email already exists even if it's an email I've never used. My ticket is on app, so now i need to find another way to get into the parks later

Been trying to load tickets purchased over the phone for months. At login I keep running into issues, getting kicked out, and not recognizing my account information.

Impossible to use effectively, wait times wouldn't show consistently. Terrible organization I'd you could even call it that. Basically useless.

This app does not work. It keeps automatically removing my tickets from my cart and will not allow me to purchase them while I'm signed in, but I can purchase them as a guest with no problem. The app seems to be defective. And I can't figure out who to contact so just going to use the website instead of the app.

I came on the app the other day to verify things before my upcoming trip and it said my tickets were expired. I started worrying a lot and had to call customer service who at least verified they were still active. It's been like this now for days, I called a few more times to verify just because of how worried I was. It's very disappointing that I won't be able to use the app, and I am more upset that it's possible I could have not noticed until I got there and didn't print out my tickets.

Trying to make a new account. It keeps saying my email already has an account. I've tried 4 emails now, some that I know for a fact don't have accounts, and it keeps saying I already have an account. When I go to reset my password, it says they can't find my account. How am I supposed to use the app. Super frustrating!!

Used to love this app but I find that I cannot add my new credit card details to my account, and neither can anyone in my family. When going to Volcano Bay this is a particular problem and very annoying. The worrying thing is this exact fault was reported by others months and months ago, which raises the question of if their capable of fixing the issues, or if they care enough. Bottom line, I spend less, particularly at Volcano Bay....

Most of the functionality works and is fairly useful. Desperately needs biometric log in if it's going to continually log you out. The wallet is next to useless. It only works about 5% of the time

Best app possible for navigating Universal Resort Orlando! Has everything, from accurate maps and ride time updates, to online food orders which allow you to bypass waiting in yet another line! Dinner reservations, hotel options, ticket management and special events info - all in one place! Absolute must if going to Universal Studios Orlando!!
