Appreciate the free password manager. I've been using this for years and was sad to see the loss of Dropbox sync, but the developer actually updated it. He didn't need to do that, but he did. I appreciate the support and the awesome app! Edit: found a way to toss him a few bucks. Thanks for a great app!

Been using it for years. Ran into the issue of not syncing with Dropbox anymore, checked the GitHub issues, found it was fixed seven hours ago, updated the app, and bingo, syncing works again. Thank you Adrian!

Really like this and use it on both windows and Android. However since the last update to fix Dropbox synch I haven't been able to synch my database whish is stored on webspace and accessed via FTP.

I have used this app for years and all of a sudden it would not connect to Dropbox but today they fix the issue and I cannot explain how happy I am that they resolved it.

Love this app, easy to use and truly trustworthy. HOWEVER, the only option to do a "Synced" backup is to Dropbix. I do not use Dropbox. As a DECADES LONG USER I am not a programmer. I created a SourceForge login but end up in a vicious circle trying to contact someone. I use "Box" to sync my app backups but BOX is not an option.... only Dropbox. HELP!

Thanks for sorting out the Dropbox issue, thought I'd have to start all over again!

As the developers have said in 2017, this app is left here for existing users but is no longer being developed. As of May 2022, I can no longer sync with Dropbox. Therefore new passwords will no longer be synced and it renders the app useless for future use. Better find a new password keeper app that serves the same purpose. Thank you for all the years you've been useful.

Great app. Been using for years. You enter all of your passwords in and set 1 password to enter into the app. Super easy, and it functions perfectly. Been using it for probably 6 years maybe more. It saves to your phone to look passwords up yourself. It does not upload that I know of and it won't autofill passwords online. Its just to save passwords and look them up if you can't remember them.

No longer synchs with DropBox. No clear cuustomer support or clear fix on what forums you can find on your own. I've loved this app for years, but now that it can't save a backup of my passwords off of my phones the app is useless. If you're still reading this then don't waste your time. Look for another app that 1) functions as advertised, and 2) provides some cutomer support or at least a respectable help-file.

I am a long time user, the app has been with me for years and i have switched 3 phones since then. Great app until recently it won't sync with Dropbox anymore (a pop up dialog says "prpblem communicating with Dropbox') and its backup function isn'tt working at the same time. Very disappointing.

I have been using this app for many many years and on many different phones and it has worked wonderfully on each. I have read other reviews about the misfortune of not being able to transfer over to another phone. I Had this happen on my 1st one and with some investigsting found that if you will make a copy of the upm file that your info is stored on to your card or cloud you can copy that back to your phone when you switch and all will be there. This method also assures you a backup. Thanks

Good if you don't want to back up. It seems the developer has stopped updating this application for some reason. He's not answering the emails. Dropbox connectivity is broken. Backup functionality is broken. Not sure I can get another app to read my last database backup. Quite disappointed.

Let me start by saying digital stuff makes my blood boil. I just changed phones and tried to restore the UPM from micro SD backup, but it didn't work. I nearly smashed my new phone because I need this app to work. Then I read about the Dropbox restore and managed to slog my way thru it and, BOOM!!...app restored. Worked great for me!

I love this app. I do have a question. I am have an issue with the Backup function. It responds with "Problem preforming file operation" Update: storage permission on the phone settings did the trick. This is a great App. I love the copy password or user function.

great for keeping your passwords. and does back up to dropbox... but when you get a new phone and try to transfer all the saved info to the app on the new phone... it doesn't work... when I try to access the upm file on dropbox.. it says it can't open the file type. so now I have to manually enter all the info from my other phone to my new phone.... this app is useless if you happen to lose your phone.

I've been using UPM for a long time, it's a great way to remember multiple passwords while only having to remember 1 to get into it. One thing that would make UPM even better, would be to start using the app through (biometrics) finger identification, instead of constantly using a password to log into it.

Mat. M. Feb 2, 2019

Brilliant but needs finger print reader. This is my 5th android phone and 3rd tablet and have had UPM since the first incarnations. Every time you get a new device, install UPM, open it, access your Dropbox and it recovers everything automatically in a matter of seconds. Really takes a special kind of retard to not be able to figure that out. Great idea brilliantly executed. Only wish it could be opened with iris/finger print reading instead of having to type in the password like a neanderthal!

It's simple and easy. I have a ton of passwords saved. I have backed up and restored them twice now with no problems. Once when I got a new phone and once when I did a factory reset. The method I use for backing up it Dropbox. The only thing I can think of to make it better is if it was cloud based so you can access them on a computer.

I have used UPM successfully for many years but it has stopped syncing with Dropbox and despite attempts to contact developer for support have had no response. Regrettably will have to find an alternative because I have lost confidence in UPM.

I love the app. However it quit backing up on my phone galaxy s10+. When i try to back up it says "problem performing file operation". It works on my tab2 and older mot droid. Ive deleted and reinstalled and also tried to make a new file but nothing seems to help. I can still use it but it wont backup at all.

I really like this app, it's simple and fast and gets the job done. In order to back up, you just need to copy the file upm.db and that's it. The bad thing is that the fact that it was last updated in 2017 is starting to show now... I wish there was a drop in replacement that could read and edit the database.

Anj. M. Apr 21, 2020

I use this app a lot. But I am thinking of switching over to Keypass2 as there is a plugin which emulates a USB keyboard so that it can send login and password keys to a computer. Make it a "UPM Pro" feature and I'll buy it.

Lin. R. F. Jul 2, 2019

Started using this app on a blackberry about 11 years ago, then on every android phone I've owned. Works great for keeping up with all of accounts and passowrds. Able to use dropbox to transfer over everything when switching phones.

Hap. C. Feb 16, 2022

This app is great. Used for 10 yrs plus. The problem with backing up database is a permission issue with your phone. You must grant storage permission in settings. Made me sad until I figgured it out. You will not be sorry using this app.

Great and simple. Used it for years now, can't say I've been bothered by any adverts ever. Store all your passwords, logins, extra notes or instructions and just remember the password to use it.

Works on all my computers and Android. 100% reliable on all platforms. Easy clean consistent UX. I would like a button to copy the password. Great job.
