Universal Remote Control - Lean Remote

It's working well actually, but 2 things: first, i can't save a remote. So i have to search from the devices list each times i want to use it. Also, putting the app in background seems to close it, because once i try to open again, it goes back to the first screen, so i have to search for it again. 2nd problem, the ads are extremely hard to close. I'm OK with ads, but here i have to wait 5 secs to make the close buttons to appear, 3 times, and touching anywhere else directly opens the ad...

Not fantastic but in the end it does what I need it to do. Banner ads don't reduce fictions. Sometimes slow to imput but that might just be my old phone, idk.

Installed on my Samsung Note 4, was delighted it was working for my TV, AV receiver and air conditioning units! My old Note 4 phone was collecting dust for several years not doing anything and now it received second life! Would have given 5 stars if not because of the regular full screen ads and the repeat detection of my devices.. there is always room for improvement.. keep up the good work!

works perfectly for my tv (TCL). Was very easy to setup and use, very happy considering I've downloaded quite a few universal remote apps and none have worked

I changed my rating because there are no more ads. I have nothing against overlay ads, but unskipable 20-30 second ads are too much.

Functionality good . Tested LG tv. Buttons work Your screen interface isnt great. Should have input and mute buttons on main screen

Works fine with my Samsung TV, that the Xiaomi default remote contro appl couldn't find. Is there any way to remove the adds?

Connected my external IR adapter (USB Type C connector) to my phone, but the app does not recognise it. Contacted developer for help, NO RESPONSE!!! Please provide instructions on how to connect and use external IR blaster to your app.

I like this app except for the ads. I do not wish to hear ads from a 'remote' app whilst I am trying to watch tv. Some of the ads interfere with 'ease of use' of the app, and some ads also cause the app to freeze. Therefore, my suggestion is that the DEV put up an 'ad-free' version of this APP, as I would happily pay for an ad-free version if reasonably priced.

Uses the IR blaster in my Titan Pocket perfectly. It's easy to set up remotes and I havent gotten a single ad since I got the app. Would love to see one-time-payment premium option that would remove ads completely.

Works beautifully, thought my ir blaster was useless but turns out MI remote was just not working for me. Recommended!

You have to go through menus to get to your remote however the remote works. Just needs UI work

worked on tv's others couldn't handle. worked first time and all the buttons. impressive stuff

It works. I am happy enough that it can do a bit more than turn my equipment on and off. I can not say that it is a direct match to any remote that would come from the mfg. Most times the functions do not work or it takes a moment for it to work. This is one of the better free apps as I have also utilized the other types of remotes they have for my other equipment. Convenience works over functionality in my case this time. Looking forward to some improvement.

I didn't have much hope to start with but when I downloaded the app and it turned on the dvd player I was amazed. It had a few clitches but was willing to ignore them and very soon after it just stopped responding. The app froze a lot and I had to restart it every time I wanted to do anything, which was only ranged from on/off and stop when it did work. Deleted and reinstalled but no change. Just doesn't work.

The fact that it works on almost all smart TV's AND has the IR ability if you do not, is pretty much all that's needed! Phones need the it blast capabilities to use the it feature, which only a few have it built in - you can get an adapter to make it work though - that's the only downfall of this app, and it's not even the apps problem. Great job! Could use a UI clean up!

Picked up my antiquated AV amp on the 2nd choice! Easy to use. One edition I'd like to see is a choice of saved remotes at the first screen, rather than it being an option of what communication of remote you need. I'm only using it for one device and I have 3 clicks to press, rather than one. Is there any scope to add others functions within the remote other than the essential basics, such as bass and treble?

Well, it mostly works. What I need it for is a quick tool for changing things like inputs or volume when the actual remote is not close by. Unfortunately the input button only sometimes works or isn't even present on the remote and no way I can tell to customize it. Then you have to deal with all the ads. It's like having the remote stuck in a jack in the box using the app. An add is going to pop up and stop you from just muting the TV real quick but you just don't know when...

BEWARE: Phones that lack an IR transmitter cannot work with this app (or any other phone app) without an IR transmitter attachment (if you're trying to control a typical TV with an IR receiver). That said, even if your phone lacks an IR transmitter you should still be able to control WiFi devices like Roku or Android compatible smart-TV's or devices. And you can always buy the IR transmitter for $10 or so. Only con is the ads. They come on roughly 1/5 the uses. 4/5 stars! Try it!

Awesome in that it controls my TVs well. Would be great if I could configure the front page UI for each remote at least a bit - half of the buttons I want to access are buried in other pages. Loses at least one star for the masses of adverts that make it next to unusable now. Echoing the view of others that if you're going to add adverts before the main functionality of the app you need to provide an option to buy the app and not have adverts. For now I'm looking for an alternative.

It turns out my phone doesn't support IR so this is no good for me personally but it seemed legit when I installed it, very credible/convincing looking app; no getting slammed with ads, surprisingly small amount of memory used, easy to navigate, and there are hundreds of devices listed. Wouldn't be shocked at >1K compatible devices. So yeah, if your phone doesn't support IR don't download it. I couldn't possibly give 5☆ to something that didnt actually work for me but it seems 5☆worthy otherwise

After trying dozens of remote apps, including the official Philips version, & having ALL fail to work, I FINALLY found this one and it works!!! Our Philips screen has NO external buttons & our remote got broken. None of our Mobil devices have IR transmitter/sensors so connection via Bluetooth or wifi was the only option. All I had to do with THIS AP, is locate my screens model# in the aps settings, pair Bluetooth through the app, and now it works perfectly! THANK YOU DEVELOPER

Great App. Worked with my latest android TV (Motorola). Unfortunately TV remote was not working after few days of installation. I tried everything to fix the remote, but nothing worked out. Then I tried with other Universal remote app (Mi Remote) that didn't worked out. This one worked from the next second I installed it. Great app. Still I have a concern, I am not able to turn on my TV with this remote. Other than that, everything works perfect. I have few suggestions as well. 1. it will be a great addition if you can add Google Voice button, and other short cut buttons for YouTube, Prime, Netflix for android TV remotes. 2. Functionalities are all great, still UI can be improved. Also if you add frequently used 1 or 2 remotes in the home screen itself for better user experience, it would be great as well. Hope these suggestions would be considered in upcoming updates. Great Job !!!

Got this app for a Samsung soundbar that I have lost the remote. Just saved myself $ by not needing to buy a new remote. The remote I wanted was not available on the Huawei smart remote service. Works well on my P20. Edit: why does this remote run in the background? It can't be turned off! It has no reason to run in the background and I can't turn it off!

The positive: This app works! However what would otherwise be an excellent app is thwarted by its ugly clunky interface and icon, and the inability to rename remotes other than their internal name. For example, the remote assigns the name samTv1, however it would be nice be able to edit those names so they wouldn't be as clunky looking as the interface itself is. Honestly, I would absolutely be willing to help the developer out of my own time to design a better looking interface. Otherwise nice.

I've used this app a handful of times, but each time has been super easy. My toddler has managed to pull up all kinds of menus on the TV (including store demo mode) and this app has made it easy to get back out of all the changes. I definitely recommend this app for an easy universal remote.
