Had this app for quite some time now and never had a problem with it. Ive had it on both s5 and htc one m8.just perfect for when you lose a remote or just dam too lazy to reach over for it.
It says my device isn't compatible, I'm on HTC One M9, I'd love to rate it higher because it seems like a really cool app. Am i doing something wrong? Do i have to turn something on in my settings? Probably sounds bitchy, but I'd really like to use the app

This App is great. Would love it more if it had a learn function from other remotes. It seems like the majority of remotes are pre-made, you just need to test the brand for your TV, DVD, etc. However the good people in customer service for this App are brilliant and helped me out quickly to send me codes for a few buttons that I were missing.
This was only one of two paid Apps that would provide any functionality with my JVC Lt-39C460. It does 99% of what I want to do and I will not be looking any further. The developers are also in communication in respect to further development. I am using a HTC one M8. If you have a HTC phone with a IR blaster, then I recommend you put this App at the top of your list for consideration.

Well worth the 3.99 I paid for it! Highly customizeable, also liked the lack of ads and weird permissions....My approach was to create a single tab custom remote for each of my devices that consisted of only the functions I commonly used, and then going to the Universal Remote Widget and adding a widget for each of those remotes . Another approach would be to create a single customized remote for all of your devices....TIP - may be useful only for those with an older Panasonic TV like mine. I had to add my TV twice as a device, once using Most Models and then as Model 2. On Most Models all of the buttons worked correctly except the Info button;; On Model 2 the Info button worked but none of the other buttons did. When I configured my Panasonic TV remote I selected the Info button action from the Model 2 device and all of the other button's actions from the Most Models device. This was a very minor inconvenience. since I added the devices only to allow me to configure the buttons of my custom remote - once the custom remote was configured I never had to use the devices.again.

Best and most straightforward phone remote I've found with the most functionality. Also works fine on my LG G5 as well.
Use it all the time, everywhere. So easy to change channels or volume when at a sports bar, hotel, airport, or even at home when the kids lose the main remote. I will be sad when this phone goes......very few have the IR blasters.
Tried sooooo many remote apps to get my freeview box working as have no remote for it. Although its a Bush box which the app didn't support It did manage to autoscan and find a Goodmans remote that did work. Now I can enjoy tv in bed again, big thanks to the dev.
Lost my remote have used app for nearly 2 years and it ebem works through my philips tv and can control my ps4 with ps4 tv connect setting. Also the app works with my samsung tablet galaxy 2
I couldn't get it to record older remotes. What I could record was the ones I already set up from the database. Still the most usable remote app from what I've seen (at least 10 different ones). --- Turns out its the phone's 'fault', however with the help of the dev I managed to sort everything out.
Works, but a little confusing trying to design a remote to work a cable box and TV. Should consider some pre installed templates.
