As soon as I click the BIG button in the middle of the screen, it ask for my email and in BOLD letters it says, COULD NOT SUPPORT IR BLASTER, Horrible app trying to steal your information.Please do not download this scam,I downloaded this because I had lost my insignia remote, again DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS.
The syncing system does not work. When prompted to chose a device from the pull down menu, there is no list provided--only a button to email the device model which opens in your web browser from your person email account. When trying to email, you instantly received a bounce back stating the mail cannot be delivered due to a full mailbox.
I tired using this app but i dont understand it. It doesnt show any list of any kind of device name at all and the contact for the email doesnt work at all. You need to change the email or fix something so people can contact the person.

Not compatible with my Insignia bluray/dvd player. Was hopeful, now very disappointed. Emailed developers through the app about it, awaiting a response. If the problem is fixed I will edit my rating.
DOESN'T WORK. Insignia TVs need a replacement remote. Do not download, it's worth the time, effort, and money to go out and buy the actual remote.
Everytime you click when setting up the tv, a repetitive email pop-up appears and makes the app completely inutile. Worst of the worst, no exceptions.

Thank you! My grandchildren fell asleep by the time I found some way to get the DVD movie to to play on my insignia TV DVD player. It was impossible until I found this app. My remote for this tv was damaged by leaking batteries.
Works just as I expected and it was a life saver when we moved and couldn't find the original remote that was packed somewhere in the multitude of boxes.
Dont waste time downloading. Press tv button. Then button to link and immediately went to send email for them to help. Completely useless.
-5 stars did not work at all and then froze until I gave a rating lml, I have a insignia roku smart tv I have lost the remote during the move and can not find it looking for a remote app that I dont have to connect the tv to the same wifi or wifi at all being I cant control the tv to even do that anyway ahhhh
Fantastic! Bought 5 TVs this week of various ages and brands (local thrift shops had a bunch for once :) No remotes of course. Universal Remote worked with every one. Thanks!
Terrible. Clicked the power button and was immediately transferred to the "email us your model number" screen. Typed in the model number and was sent to gmail and the email was blank.
TERRIBLE! The review about the remote only saying something about email was 100% accurate! This is an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME!!!!! DON'T BOTHER DOWNLOADING THIS GARBAGE!
It's a cool concept, but I can't even use it, every time I push the red button to turn it on, I get a pop-up to put my email to send in more tv requests.
App wont work without an IR blaster, most newer model phones no longer have that. Pretty much obsolete.
Tried about 7 other universal remote apps on my tablet and almost gave up until this app and it works perfect but it's just slow
Tap the buttons to attempt turning on or off your tv, immediately asks for a review and wont let you back out without a review aside from force closing it. So here is my review. Dont bother installing.
Works well. Does not work on all features but does work in IR when i dont have wifi.

Awesome app tried many others and this one found the correct remote frequency on the first try after being fusterated with multiple others its a beautiful thing when a app does what it claims, so thank universal remote 👍😊
seems to be affiliated with another insignia remote app. same scam product. immediately tells you your tv is not compatible and asks for your email
Says my phone doesnt support it but it's a new phone. Garbage app! Deleted off my device and enjoy the bad review. I wish people would stop making phoney apps for downloads and ad money.
Um it isnt recognizing my brand new tv and asked for the model number to be emailed.. how long til I get a response and can use this remote??? I dont get this?????
This is just like other similar apps, the app doesn't work, it just wants your email address. Don't download it.
It's a really good remote but the back button dose not work other than that it is good. Please fix
Works well, but it is annoying to be asked every time I open it to rate it 5 star. I finally broke down to get rid of the dialog, and did get a chance to give not just 1 or 5 like the dialog suggested. OTHERWISE the app has worked well for us. 1 last note, the "How to use" option from the 3-dot menu at top right gives a useful one screen set of directions. But, on my phone (an older Galaxy S5) at least, the bottom icon of the main list of tasks labeled "How to use" does NOT get to the directions
