Universal Remote For Sony

Very handy and useful app! Once I found the correct category the app worked perfectly. The layout is not specific to my home theater, but a generic layout for use with various units. All the functions I use on a regular basis are there, and they all work great. This is not as good as having an original remote, but it is great if you have a lost or broken remote. My new remote will arrive roday, but I will keep this app installed for future use.

Didnt work for me . Apparently you have to have an IR blaster pre installed on your phone ! Other remote apps dont require this. I use this phone with a remote app for my new LG tv and it works great. But this is full of ads & is basically a p.i.t.a

It does work, so it's holidng me over until i can get a replacement remote in the mail. i do get frustrated with it though - the two main issues I have are that 1. It doesn't accurately save which remote you need - i have only ever set up one remote but have to select blue ray and then scroll through 12 "saved" remotes and 2. it lags BADLY so i end up constantly clicking on the wrong thing because it registers more clicks after I've selected. but it at least works!

Worst update ever... Full of ads even while setting up a remote. Cant really use due to ads... We will need a ton of patience to use this app👎

**One of the most useless apps in play store!!!** All adds, never actually get to the actual app....just more adds! Don't waste your time.

Worked perfectly on the second remote I tried. Not like some other apps that give you an ad every 5 seconds. UI is lacking, but functionality is great. Used it because I couldn't find the remote for the TV and there were no buttons to change settings without it.

mapnual attempt. Poor interface. Let the ridiculous and ambiguous product description cast some light for what's in store should you decide to give it a go. I suggest that you save your time and shop around for another ip-based software remote that actually might work.

Does what I need, setting up a second hand Sony DVD player and speaker system without the remote. The app I have does not have the right buttons, this one did. Some adds, but I only need it once or twice.

Easy to use & set up. A very good app indeed! Highly recommended it for those who have a TV which has no control buttons & have lost or broken their original. Sensitive to use when pretty much pointing it anywhere. Pop ups are a tiny issue & easily removed.

Its great ! Works Great ! ! This app will control all electrical appliances. No matter name brand. So easy to hook up. And the best part, the app is on my ohone under my control. I dont have to worry about the kids messing with the A.C , and after i give the kids chances to turn play station off its bed time or stop arguing . Well . . . I can help out when they having a problem listening snd i am able to turn it off with this awesome app! Gotta try it ! ! !

Garbage. Couldn't get this app to operate a simple Sony STR - K665P AV receiver. P.o.s. app didnt even give me the option to relay feedback, such as whether or not the AV selection was "working" or "not working". Once again, GARBAGE.

Useless app. Same issue as other user. Everytime we test, it buzzes and asks to send email and then an ad shows up. No logical flow in the app. The app designer probably doesn't even use it himself/herself.

Best universal remote I've used. Boop Boop Boop and done. It's connected to the TV and I'm away. It multiple device setting means can be used for speakers as well. Would give more stats I've avaliable. Ps. No.freaking.pop.ups. gold star!!

Needed this for my HTC790 soundbar. Everytime I tried one of the "SONYSOUND" signals I got bombarded with ads, after the ads it had me start over to check IR command #1 (1 of 5 or 6 commands). After going through all the signals and 3 ads popping up for each one no progress was made. Thanks but no thanks.

Everytime I try to test it to see if it works it buzzes, asks me to send an email then takes me back to the home selection screen. Kinda annoying having to do that repeatedly.

Fraud app. Made only for ads. Doesn't work

Lost my remote for my blue ray player and this one is so highly rated, thought I'd give it a go. The moment I opened it there was an ad. Uninstalled immediately. I don't feel ads have any place in a remote app.

On a Galaxy S10+, skips the "working/not working" screen and goes directly to a feedback screen. When pressing back to try to get out, advertising. Gave up.

I have installed this to control Sony Home theatre system as seen on screen shot. But, there is no Sony Home theatre in its list. I tried with our Sony Bravia TV. it didn't find any device. May be this can work only with some specified models. More models to added.

Simple enough to use. easy to set up and sync to appliances and while buttons and layout may not be quite there yet, the functionality is sufficient. Good app guys

This is garbage app. Wanted me to rate on open. Makes me go back to start inbetween checkig remotes. After checking each remote request email address incase remotes not found. Rediculously stressful. Would give zero stars but sadly cannot

Good. I'm using it for SONY MHC V777. Basic functions like power on/off and volume control working good. No other options available on the remote control. Pls update the app..

My children lost remote for my sony tv and then i tried this it works very well

Excellent. I have had this stereo since 2002. I have it hooked up to my TV and it's just basically a "if it ain't broke don't buy one" type of situation. Well the remote is not working as well as it once did. Some days it works, some days it doesn't so I downloaded the app and now I do not have to get up on nonworking days.

Useless. Every time I try to test a signal to use I'm any receiving device it goes directly to asking me for the device model and gives me a link to send it to the developers email. The email address doesn't work either.

The remote works fine. Haven't experienced any ads but the experience could have been better if mobile could vibrate after successfully pressing any button.
