- bedroom , living room , kitchen. to program the controller , point your ir blaster capable device towards the tv (we recommend a distance of maximum of 10 feet) and click on turn the tv on button after selecting the brand. If it turns on then please click on yes " device powered on " and continue with other menu setup functions. In case your tv does not turn on then click " NO " to send other codes to television.
