Universal Xbox Media Remote IR

I had to constantly fight with the ir to send the signal, some times going through setup again just to use the remote. Even loaded on a different device to see of it was my phone. It wasnt. Had to push the buttons multiple times to get the signal out. If this happens with the free version I'd hate to see how buggy the full is.

Our 360 is basically a DVD player, & we keep our remotes put away so our 1 year old doesn't get ahold of them. (Batteries are dangerous) But I love this app. I have the free version BC all i really need is the simple stuff, but its very helpful.

Works great within 5 feet or so, at 10 feet it's spotty but works most of the time. Considering that xbox has decided to not make their own app for a remote this might be the best option we ever get, and I'm ok with it. I've not had any real issues and I'm using the free version. Not perfect but good enough.

Its very useful for when you are broke and you broke your only controller, because Microsoft products are total garbage. But this app is really slow. I hate that its not precise at all. You press any direction and it will move anywhere between 2-8x the distance you want it too. Extremely buggy. Ads will play ads when phone is locked. Buttons don't like to work a lot of the time. Has a lot of pointless extra features that is completely pointless to pay for. Didn't use ANYTHING more then basic remote with the free trial because is was completely unnecessary.

Works perfectly with my XBOX One, I haven't tried keyboard inout yet, but basic things like Eject, Menu and Power On and Off work perfectly. Please note that your phone has to have an IR transmitter to be able to use this app.

Works great, but it wants me to purchase the app again. It erased my remote settings, I went back through set up and now it's saying I have to purchase it again. The app itself is amazing. Without this happening I wouldn't have anything negative to say.

Make sure to follow instructions closely. Your a moron if you can't figure this out.

Doesn't work even though my phone has infrared. Frustrating. Mmy other remote apps work, just not this one

Wish I didn't contactly have the ads even with ad blockersThey pop up as u funding it around of off. Turning around becuase even though screen orientation is turned off on my phone I'm Having to keep turning the phone around and around just to access the power button

My vizio remote works. This doesn't so I know it's not my phone.. this app did not turn my xbox on. And mentioning after I open up the app that I need to purchase stuff is a slap in the face I feel.

Everybody slagging this app off because it doesn't work. Only they're too thick to find out if their phone has an IR emitter first. Which the new smartphones don't actually have.

This is much better than Microsoft's smartass app, but it needs to be able to connect to the network you're on. Overall, good show.

The one day usage before having to buy the full version is a pain. But lucky I only needed it until I buy a new control. Works awesome once it gets the correct version type to power your Xbox.

This app worked great. Unfortunately it was not compatible with my Galaxy s7 edge, so I dug out my old s5 and downloaded it on there. I was able to connect my Xbox to wifi/Xbox live and use the Xbox Smartglass app despite not having a remote or controller!

Stopped working all of a sudden keeps thinking im on a new device to control my xboxone...keep changing it to android but its still not working...

Doesn't work in the slightest sray away from this app cuz tbh its a waste of time as it does not connect to your xbox

I give it one star because it's bullshit , this does not work, I follow directions with no results ,, don't waste your time they are con artists

Yo nfs i really thought it wouldn't work an at first it didnt an its ask did it work when i press no it made me try a again didnt work then it asked me to try a third time and boom my xbox turned on .....i was shocked .... like i broke 2 controllers out of pure frustration an all this time i could have downloaded this free app...

I like the app, but I bought the ad free version and am still being served ads for the background music app

Well, it could have been better. Dont get me wrong it's very useful but when I exit it, it brings me back in and shows me an ad. To stop the ads I have to get rid of it out of my recent apps.

Trash, doesn't work at all with galaxy s7 edge. Tried for TWO hours to set it up and nothing worked. Scam don't get.

This app didn't work at all for me, maybe I dint have the right device or whatever.

Terrible it said point at Xbox that's what I did and nothing happened I pressed the power button and waited nothing happen the Xbox wouldn't turn on

Have an old Xbox 360 that I use to stream Netflix and the remote charger has been giving a lot of issues. This app worked as a perfect replacement, thanks!👍

It didn't work what so ever for my xbox remote. I tried everything. 3 feet away . i took my phone cover off and it still didnt work. My kids hid my xbox remote somewhere

Been having issues with my xbox controllers rechargable batteries and needed something to use because i forgot to pick up more batteries. This did exactly what I needed it to and was able to navigate through my apps and still enjoy the evening of streaming our favorite shows!

First off all get ur phone then get a ir remote like s tv remote get camera app on ur phone u should then realize it phone can see infer red light but we can't then get ur usefull phone again and hold a button down on ur xbox remote you should realize there's no ir transmitter on ur xbox remote and there's no ir reciver on the xbox. Stupid devolopers

It's cool but I could get the not updated xbox smart glass Which hasn't been updated in 3 years and it will still do more. This app is cool but the trial? Really? It takes the gesture and the KEYBOARD which I need to type. So I can search stuff. which is what I really like to have
