Sorry, but it's still a failure. I have been very patient with the unleashed being delayed and then with all kinds of flaws in the app. Today I gave it another try and updated the firmware. Updste worked (but only after restarting the unleashed) but now the app is unusable. Keeps crashing when started.
My phone sometimes needs a bit of time to find the connection, but that's my phones Bluetooth not the app. Once connected it works great to remotely change exposure, aperture and other values for the next shot.
Love the gps feature, except it's always on, sending notifications to my phone. Probably a way to set it differently, but because NO instructions are provided and I'm a old non-tech kinda guy, I'll have to go thru trial & error.
Great looking app with appropriate functionality and recent updates have greatly improved the reliability and connectivity. The Unleashed camera dongle works very well and is a must have for the serious amateur, or professional photographer.
Overall, i actually love this app. There are just a few more features i would like to see, such as actually being able to download photos directly from the camera to the phone.
Something odd switching between video and movie on a D610. Actually don't seem to be able to record video.
Version 1.2.3 keeps crashing on iPad and Android phone (Moto G6+). No response from Foolography folks.
Great work. Works as promised, elegant design, is a fun to work with.
Out of the box a little disappointed D4s shows up as d3300 and it seems like nothing wants to work
Works great with N2 on D600.
Nikon's Snapbridge for me is a pain however with Unleashed once set-up works a dream. Never had problem with connection, and the App is so intuitive. When you need hands free exposure for astro or HDR settings can be done from App although you do need to set bracketing manually on camera. One minor gripe does not come with manual but online tutorials did help. Customer service is prompt. Brilliant piece of kit, can highly recommend!
