They didn't have any of the books I was hoping to read or access audio books from, so it wasn't right for me. That said, I sent an email stating that I would like to cancel and they confirmed in less than 24 hours that my membership had been cancelled and I would not be charged. I was concerned that cancelling would be a pain but they were super fast and responsive!
Bad design for an app, the interface is not user friendly, it's very difficult to find the search button, something that should be on the front page of a book website/app. Advertised to be free for a month but as soon as I registered my account was debited for 1 dollar, fortunately it was reversed when I cancelled my membership. The book library is also very outdated.
0 stars. App keeps crashing, never received emails with sign in info or any info, charged my credit card, can't open books, had to email help to get them to cancel but they won't refund any of my money, the full amount or a post dated amount. No reminder about free trial ending, book selection really isn't very good. Even without these issues, not worth $30 a month. Classic books are free on most platforms. Try your local library Libby app for ebooks and audio books for 100% free and unlimited.
Have only started using it so I'm not really qualified to give a full critique. It seems to be great but look for my next review in a month or so. NEW 6 MONTHS LATER. I was quite right in my first impression of Alll You Can. It's easy to use, has a fairly large selection and a good search engine. I would certainly recommend it but, inn fairness, it didn't have a few of the books that I was looking for.
First off, the app itself is junk. It doesn't allow you to choose where downloads are stored. The app is very poorly built. What's much worse is the service itself. It does have unlimited downloads, but not really anything you would want to read. Most of what can be found are podcasts. A lot of the books are classic books that you can get free elsewhere. Its a waste of time I think. Also, it's supposed to be a free trial at first ,but tried to charge me $1.06 just to "verify" my identity.
The app itself is not great. It was hard to find the search function and when I went to the help section it just told me to download the app even though that's what I was using. It's exactly the same as the website. I also couldn't find a way to cancel the subscription - I had to call them. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 though because the customer service on the phone was incredibly helpful and it was really easy to cancel through them.
Has lots of books, yes, but it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to cancel it. I had to seriously google how to cancel. allyoucanbooks. Com/cancel after looking at everything. I had the account for almost an hour and couldn't find anything I wanted to read. Some reviews have said they charged 1.06 for just signing up, if you don't have that in the account then it'll probably put you in the red and if you don't know then you'll have fees.
Books are lacking and app is hard to use. Definitely not worth 19.99 a month. Also had paid subscription for months and tried to cancel when I was billed and customer service wouldn't refund this month. Been exploring audiobook apps since December and landed on Scribd. Hands down better app and offers more books and better options.
Find somewhere else to get audiobooks. It said it would charge me 0.01p to verify my account. It charged 71p. The podcasts wouldn't play. The selection is mostly unknowns or old classics. The narration on 2 I downloaded was read so monotonously, I switched off immediately. Worst app ever.
Don't fall for their scam. Hated this app. Very few books of interest and most of the audio books have terrible sound. I tried to cancel my subscription well before the trial period was supposed to end. Their system told me it was cancelled yet they still charged my account!
This is the worst app I have ever had/used🤬 It's was a total rip off. It was so hard to find a place to cancel the subscription. 40 dollars later after emails and trying to talk to them. Finally just cancelled it. Crossing fingers they don't charge me again🤞
These people are a scam. My email account was hacked and my bank info as well and when asked for a refund for unauthorized charges that was made to my bank account, they will not refund the money. They offer me to keep using their services even though I didn't sign up for an account and have never used their services. Totally a fraudulent company.
it's just terrible messy, unorganized site, search functions are not existent at all! very annoying waste of time to find something. I think for such monthly price consumers would expect professionally done platforms with decent navigation... Uninstalling this nightmare
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! Or sign up for the FREE trial. It's It's SCAM. It's almost impossible to cancel your subscription and it won't let you past the first page when you open the app. DON'T fall for the trick.
The selection available is either already free in the public domain or not current. The app is not well laid out with ebooks and audiobooks all grouped together making browsing difficult. I don't want any of the items offered for free, let alone to pay a monthly subscription.
To be honest today is my first day with this app but it does not seem to have many modern authors alot of the books seem to be classics which is ok but not exactly what i am looking for. The search function could be greatly improved and could include author search not just keyword i love audio books as i have no time to sit and but i do drive 2plus hours a day and really enjoy listening to books durring that time. I will give this app a chance and will update my review accordingly.
I was looking for specific books and they aren't available. So I have tried a few times to contact someone to cancel my 'free' trial but keep getting the same reaponse back. I will not be paying for this service, even if hat means I have to go through PayPal to get my money back. Not impressed by the lack of customer service
Does not work and YES they do want a credit card number. You can NOT opt out once you have entered your card info. SCAM The books are a joke. Do not be fooled. If you deny access to your phones storage or any other "permissions" the app won't work at all. They do NOT need access to anything in my phone !
would NOT recommend this app or service! very old and biring content and i could onky download 2 audiobooks and after thqt it kept saying "your request is being processed" after i tried to download more audiobooks. no titlea undwr the book front covers so some are cery hard to read. i thoight it was funny when the website i found this on said yiu could sign up, download as many audiobooks you want and unsubscribe lol. i see why now.
What a terrible app. First thing it asks is to access your photos in your phone and when you say no the app doesn't work at all! I can't select anything or even search. Then there's no way to cancel your account even though i gave them my cc details and now i have to chase this up. Dont waste your time!
This is a horrible money stealing app, the books on it are useless and when you go and subscribe for the free trial you you get no notification that the trail has ended and you get charges months after. There is no actual way to cancel subscription on the app your your basically screwed once you sign up for the free trial!!!
Zero stars. Awful selection of books. Signed up today but have already asked them to cancel the subscription as there isnt anywhere with the info regarding this. I was concerned about this happening and low and behold. Looks as though I will have to cancel through my bank. Woeful to say the least.
I'd give this app zero if I could. I signed on for the free trial. Then you can't find where to cancel. 4 months they've taken money from my account without my permission. I've had to change my card details to stop them ripping me of for more!! I am so angry right now.. I haven't even used anything on the app..
This company is a joke. They charge my card even after canceling the subscription. They make it nearly impossible to find the subscription cancellation. Their book selection is lacking and so is their navigation features.
The book options are limited with a large number of unpublished or obscure books. However, I have found some great books - but not worth the monthly cost. The app itself works well, as does the audio book player. Cancelling membership has been an issue with no options on the app or website available to do this. I have now found an email address and (hopefully) cancelled this way.
