Edit: This app used to work really well, but the last update really broke it. The past few days my phone had become really slow. At first I thought it was my storage filling up, but I was still having problems after clearing stuff up. Eventually I tried force stopping Unnotification and my phone was no longer slow. I went into the app and cleared the notification log in the app (over 110,000 deleted) and it improved. I still noticed a slight slow down so I have currently uninstalled the app.
Perfect and easy. I was having mysterious phone notifications for the past months. Could not figure out where from as they didn't leave any information, just made my phone vibrate for 30 seconds over and over again. This app let me spot out the culprit within 10 seconds. Thank you!
Not usable. I installed it a while ago. Today, I wanted to get a specific notification back. When I opened Unnotification, it showed me various categories of notifications, but only for a split second. Then it switched to "no notifications", and there seems to be no way to get them back. There is no use in this app for me.
I don't usually like to drag a Apps name through the mud, but this App (I downloaded about 4 months ago) started fine and was nice to catch notifications on my Dashboard that I would miss once in a while. I started noticing my 64 gb data was getting smaller and smaller and even after dumping unused apps and pics, I was still losing storage space. Today, I looked to see what Apps were consuming data and this one was holding 32 gb of storage. Unbelievable, gone.
I installed this because I was looking for a way to get dominos special offer notifications back after tapping the notification and acquiring the voucher, before subsequently losing all access to the voucher (because I love pizza, and the voucher disappears along with the notification when you tap on it) due to the shoddiness of the dominos web app. But you cant access any notifications when you tap on them in Unnotification... So, I'm unsure of the purpose of this app, will be uninstalling 🤷🏽
Useless for what i need, it is unable to view any notifications you dismissed before downloading the app. The whole purpose of most people downloading this app was because they had a specific notification they wanted to see again, but their phone didn't have the notification history option available. Articles point to this app as a work around for this exact problem, but it doesen't really solve the problem at all. Its a preventative not a restoritive.
Wasnt auto deleting notifcation log and wouldnt delete when manually attempted, causing it to use up multiple gigabytes of storage. Wouldnt load notification log in app. Only have a split second to undo notification or it disappears. Prevents new notifications from an app once notification is undone, must restart device. Removes ability to easily swipe multiple notifications because notification menu is jumpy as it detects swiped notifications.
Please add a feature to enable/disable foreground sticky notification, its kind of odd having it there , and even when i disable it in the devices notification settings for the app,.. I wouldn't be sure if itd stip the app from functioning properly as its intended to. Device: Nexus 6p, Android 8.0
For some reason this app will save multiple copies of the same notification (sometimes up to 15) which will then mean it will be completely clogged up with the same notifications and other slightly older ones will be deleted without me wanting them to, please fix this issue
This app is great for being able to see dismissed notifications. I used it to prove an airline sent me to the wrong terminal and as a result I lost my flight. Thanks to this app I proved it was their mistake and I got another flight with no cost.
This is by far one of the best apps I have installed. Super simple, love the logs for my notifications. No battery drain at all. Sits quietly and does it's job exceptionally well. Highly recommended!
Great app...does what it says on the tin. Been using it for over a year now. Keeps a log of my notifications silently and easily. Not complex & not too simple. Glad I found it.
Good idea, this should be stock. However the timeout should be a lot longer than 60 seconds: days, weeks, months, until manually dismissed would be better. The default is 5 seconds, not sure how useful that is.
An app that can read my phone notifications should have a clear privacy policy and should inform me when this policy changes. Now there is a vague, general policy that can be changed at any time without informing the user. Bad.
First, great app. second, very great app. Third, will you please add 'allowed apps list' because to some users like me, it's easy to add apps that you want to use the Unnotification with, instead of block every single app i have except a few.
I like the app, but it's currently not auto-deleting the notification log, causing it to take up multiple gigabytes of storage, which is unacceptable.
Just stuck on "no notifications" in the app even though I can see it in my notification panel and it's running Edit: cleared my cache and restarted my phone, now it's working as it's supposed to
Very useful, but after 2 years I've noticed the app is using 1.9 GB of space. It does however have a log limiter, but it wasn't enabled by default.
It was working well when I first downloaded it. I stopped using it for a while but was expecting it to be able to work in the background. The one time I go back to it... It fails... So mad rn
App is good. Did what is said but its 11pm and would only show notifications back to 8:30pm tonight. I needed to find something from this morning so it did not solve my problem. I am a bit disappointed.
It store notifications but make new notification each time when i discard other app notifications. It keeps sound and i was unable to disable that feature so i had uninstall app
It works fine almost all tue time But sometimes option to bring back removed notification stays for 10-15 seconds even when I've kept it 2 seconds in the settings.
Very good interface and experience, but it doesn't catch all notifications. (Specifically, why are notifications from TheScore app missed?)
It's been useful for a while and it works well but recently, Unnotification caused en extreme battery drain which I could onlx identify using the ADB.
Worked perfectly until recently, now it sometimes doesn't remove the unnotify notifications and it says constantly "listening for notifications" which you can't remove
Just replaces the notification with its own... so just end up having to dismiss twice... waste of time.
Found to be chewing up around 3GB RAM. Was not sure why other apps kept crashing. By looking at 'Running Services' found this to be what was hogging all the memory...
There is no option to restore dismissed notifications. Notification log is not autoclearing according to settings. Not much use for this app as it is
I like the idea of this app but a few things make it unusable, "ignore app" setting doesn't work, I added 3 persistent apps notifications (accu battery, network speed indicator & action dash) to the list but they still show on the main screen, also if I swipe them away they will just reappear, another issue is tapping a notification in the list doesn't do anything, other similar apps will open the corresponding app, I'll keep an eye on this to see how it develops. Thanks
