Uno PlayLink

It's really sad that within 4 years this is not received an update yet if you actually play the game on the PlayStation 4 it's had multiple updates so that means when you are playing multiplayer with and through your phone you have the latest software that does not match up with the PS4. That inhibits if you purchased any DLCs from you being able to play because it does not align with what your phone and PS4 show on each screen individually. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

This app needs to be supported and updated. Its always out of sync with whats happening on the tv screen. There's a far cry 6 dlc now l. But the app sees an older dlc. I can't even play uno flip because it doesn't exist in the app. I try to bypass it by clicking when the tv shows uno flip. But then the app gets stuck and i can't go back even. It just amazes me that Ubisoft can't support the one method to make this playable with friends at your house.

Gameplay is super fun and works pretty well with using phone as cards. Only issue I've faced so far is a few glitches that the game says it is my turn, but when I try to play a card from my phone, the phone says it isn't my turn and the game is unable to continue. Other than that, great game. DLC keeps game interesting with new action cards. Strongly consider if you get tired of repeated gameplay

So, the game works alright but there is one major problem. You can't play DLCs anymore with the new update on the PlayStation. What I mean is that with the new DLC it breaks it because the new DLC isn't on mobile, so for example; I select rabbids on the phone and it pops up with something like flip on the PlayStation which isn't on mobile as well. I don't understand why you would update the software on the PlayStation but not the app it relies on. Please fix this, thanks.

Really nice addition to use instead of having 4 controllers. a few additions I would love to see is being able to see the played cards on your mobile screen. This would be incredibly helpful if you wanted to play with family and friends but can't be right in front of the TV- because we need to be cooking or doing other chores. I would definitely give this a 5 star with this addition and the jump in needs a tweak. It doesn't seem to work right or there isn't enough time because of a delay.

App can be slow to respond to onscreen play. But the big problem is that it hasn't been updated with the new card packs you can purchase as DLC. HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED IN OVER 2 YEARS!

It works, its fun, but its been 3 years since the last update. The game is kinda buggy for some devices and doesnt even work for others. The game doesnt have any of the new game modes and you need to make sure the hosts phone screen and the tv screen match when selecting a game mode or the game breaks. Overall, its good, but it really needs an update. Also, this isnt major or anything but the ui on the phone just doesn't feel right, it shows your cards and the table but not whats on the table.

UNPLAYABLE - with the new update and packs I certainly wish worked with playlink, the menu is not synced up. Any pack you try and select won't line up, and when you go to start the game, it freezes. App is about as intelligent as its developers

Unlike many, this app works fine with my phone/PS4/wifi. The only issue is that Ubisoft has not updated this PlayLink app since 2018, so it is not compatible with the newest Uno Flip DLC, which has been out for a few months already, yet still no update since 2 years ago. Again, still works fine for me, but I just cannot access that DLC with this outdated app.

Great to everyone in the family involved but the dwlay in some matches get annoying. Plus the glitches in the game can be annoying when you have to start the match over again. Another major downside is that there is no cross-platform support making it impossible to play with friends who have uno on the switch. Over all Uno is fun to play but can be better without the bugs and with cross-platform support to play with more players.

It would be easier to play if you could see the card and color of active card on the phone. Also I've read people are having problems connecting. I was until I went forward with the game and it connected to the devices without having to go through the ps4 setting to connect. That was nice but, it wasnt until we tried it in the game menu that we figured it out.

I love this game , but the app does not match the actual game screen on console . dlc deks are out of order between the console and mobile device , some decks don't even appear in the app . fixing this should be priority 1 .

The playlink app is buggy, it doesn't show the deck selected correctly, and it will, very often, refuse to connect. When you select the deck you want on screen, it's most likely not the same deck on the app. It will freeze while selecting play options as well.

Has too many glitches. The themes on the app doesn't match on the tv; the app freezes; the host gets switched for some reason. The flip theme isn't on the app which is probably why the themes aren't aligned correctly. These glitches need to be fixed. I can't play with my friends/family.

First and only review I'll ever make because this is the only thing I've actually found irritating. I don't understand why my phone won't let me disconnect to the ps4 to play uno. I mean my ps4 and phone are connected to the same wifi. I've had to restart AND uninstall to actually get it to work but then after a while it'd just disconnect randomly. Please fix this.

Buggy and doesn't work properly with ps4 game and keeps crashing, been like it for over a year but still no sign of being fixed, still no playlink support for all the dlc. Most annoying feature though is can't play truly silent, with all pad settings to mute/silent the app still has the ability to trigger vibration which I don't want.

Works well. Framerate is lower than what's displayed on the main game screen which is sort of annoying but it was probably a compromise to save the phones battery life so whatever. It's does what its supposed to do.

I really like this version of the game. I'm an avid video game fan and I have a PS4 so the PlayStation tie-in didn't bother me at all. Fair warning though, this is a companion app, so it's useless if you don't have the main game on PS4. The only gripe I have is with the ads in the main game. I paid for this game, so I'm not feeling the ads I get whenever I use an action card. This game is too good to have pay-to-win style advertising (although to a much lesser degree).

Horrible Gaming (if you can call it that) experience. App constantly disconnects for no apparent reason. And sometimes it's a struggle to even connect with the PS4. This is absolutely ridiculous. Such a simple fix that could've prevented such a hardship.

I absolutely NEVER write negative reviews but this one is required. This app was only able to see my PS4 on the network using my Pixel 3XL the day it was first installed. Since then it doesn't work, and clear cache/data and uninstall/reinstall doesn't work either. My wife's Pixel 3a has never been able to connect. This is not the standard for PlayLink games. The companion apps for every other PlayLink title I own work flawlessly.

This version of Uno is fun, but is in desperate need of an update, the outdated software does not support the Uno Flip or Immortals: Fenyx Rising DLC, and can cause game breaking bugs on both the PS4 and the app. Otherwise, the 3 other DLCs plus the main game is very fun to play with both friends and family, and makes buying Uno for the PS4 and PS5 a worth while purchase

DOES NOT SYNC WITH PS4!!!!!!!!!!!! YET YOU, UBISOFT, ADDED MORE CARD DECKS TO THE GAME. UNPLAYABLE!!!!!!! I ordered the latest download able content on it and it doesn't not show on the app. In turn it causes major issues and I cannot play Uno at all. Very aggravating spending the money to play and not being able to because the app is neglected.

The app isn't reliable at all. Sometimes you'll be able to connect to your PS4 sometimes you're not able. Sometimes 2 out of 3 devices on the same network will connect. Then next time the other 1 will and the 2 that connected before won't. Stupid app.

Absolutely terrible app. Setting in the exact same room and can't connect to my ps4. All my friends connect fine, no issues at all. This app has terrible compatibility with the Google Pixel. I literally bought Uno just to have something to do with my friends and can't even play it because of the horrible functionality of this app. Either fix it for the Pixel or give me back my money.

The app just doesn't work. I tried both the regular Wi-Fi connection and the mobile hotspot option and both yield no results. I know this works on Android because my cousins connected just fine.

Doesn't seem to work on devices with Android 10. Tried to connect using both the same Wi-Fi connection the ps4 was connected to and the ps4 hotspot and no connections showed up in the app to connect to. Hope you can fix this as would love to play this with friends.
