My initial impression so far. I'm just going to say as a borderlands fan, I appreciate the contribution of this app and the apparent dedication to addressing issues and bugs. It seems an honest effort. A great aid to my game for sure. WONDERLANDS IS F*****G AMAZING SO FAR, am I right!?!
(Update): I did try enabling personalized ads. It didn't change a thing. (Original): Use to be good. Now it throws an ad at you every time you do a single thing in the app. And what's worse is the ads you get have an X on them that is so tiny, that, when you try to press it to close the ad, it instead reads your press as clicking ON said ad. Thus opening an ad that you had no intention of opening. I will be uninstalling this app. Shame on the developer for getting greedy with so many ads.
Just an ad-littered news aggregation app. It offers a clunky user interface, persistent and intrusive pop-up ads, and a perpetual banner ad. There is no way to pay to remove ads either! I have had this app for months and it has hardly improved. Most of the content is provided via external website links, and a great, simple feature--a countdown clock--is a link to another app made by the same developer. Guess they want to milk as much ad revenue as possible out of their supporters.
Very convenient for when I'm not at home or in-game. Would definitely suggest it to other Borderlands VIP's if youre in need of some extra keys or points. Only bother is some shift codes that have "unknown" expiry dates which are always there, but that's not too major. Otherwise great app guys, really made my life a little easier. 5 stars when you can start notifying me of new shift codesπ After all some of them sometimes only last up to an hour or so!
Ehh I liked the old format, this new update I can't even see any of the tabs that lead to various places. It's just all black above the news feed, tapping on the empty void takes me to other places on the app but I've no idea how it works. Even with great wifi and phone data it still doesn't show up for me. And the sign up thing near the bottom never works for me. Like I liked this app before updating it but now it doesn't really seem to work.
Amazing App bought all extra packages. Support this dev. Love borderlands series so much.
Amazing app that has everything you need for BL3 in one place. The only complaint I have is that I purchased the quaterally ad removal pack and I am still have banner ads that take up a good portion of the bottom part of the screen. I am fairly certain that this is unintended and I will happily push this review up to 5 stars when its fixed.
Great for information but the user interface is horrible. Reminds me of 90s angelfire websites. 5 stars if they make a real GUI. Lots of ads everywhere but I use Adguard so I don't see them. Just a little warning.
Honestly just an awesome easy to use App. Love it shows all VIP, Vault, creator and key codes with easy to use interface. Plus it shows if the code is expired or expiring with the date. Also love the checking off system too. Definitely a 5 star app and I rarely rate Apps. Awesome π
Very useful for me, my only complaint really is sometimes the pages will completely freeze and make me restart the app. A very minor issue because it loads quickly, but one to be aware of. Keep up the great work.
It's very good app I try to use it all the time but I have to keep restarting it because it becomes unresponsive. I can scroll but can't access anything in the top menu(Shift codes, V. I. P. codes) unless I close and reopen a few times.
An amazing app! Perfect for all my Borderlands needs. But one issue is that, after clicking on an article and then backing out, it brings you back to the top of the article list. I'd love if when you backed out from an article, it kept your position.
ok so... it is a decent idea for keys or basic news about the games of borderlands, but a companion usually is an app that allows a player to connect to their account/characters to access their inventory and mess with their skill sets. Take the companion for Destiny 2 for example if you must, cause I would like a Borderlands companion that actually helps.
It's pretty great and is very easy access to your VIP stuff. But I'm taking a star off because the main appeal of a companion app is to have access to information. The developers should include a database for gear in borderlands 1 2 and PS or a direct access to the wiki. Questions about equipment is always my #1 inquiry with a game that has a massive arsenal of items and no solid description in-game.
Good app, with easy access to VIP codes Shift codes and Borderlands news. Keep up the good work! I'm sure this app will get a lot of use with Borderlands 3 coming soon. Improvements to app have been great! Looking forward to new shift keys menu to match VIP codes :) although adds can be big at points and a little annoying understand you need money for the work you've done
It's useful for VIP codes, I just redeemed a load. Shift codes too. There are duplicate BL2 codes for steam though in the Xbox listing. The UI is a mess and the back 'button' on my phone does not exit the app.
great app, easy way to get all the news on the upcoming game and shift codes and stuff. Only thing i wish it had was a skill tree builder for the new characters in the app instead of sending you to the borderlands website, but thats just a little thing.
A Companion well needed! Easy way to find unexpired Shift codes for use in all 3 GOTY Borderlands games. All it's missing is a good "completed" or "used code" feature to remove the codes I have already used.
Incredible companion app 11 out of 10 would recommend . Creators clearly took the time to make this app into something special , every detail all the way down to the reminder to rate was made perfectly!
There is a better alternative. This app started out great and got more and more inundated with ads as the updates rolled out. There is no buy once and remove ads forever which just comes off as scummy honestly.
No experience to describe. All the 'see more' buttons didn't work and most of the menu buttons are non functional. Join the BL3 shift codes group on facebook for daily codes/keys. This app is a waste of time
While a little difficult to navigate and some function not compatible with my particular tablet ,the app is dang good ,giving everything you need in one place.
Great app. Love the fact y'all have done all the work of putting codes for bL3 in on place. My only problem is that everytime I come on to check for new codes they have expired. Notification is a must for these situations. I believe once this is done I'd be more then happy to give a 5 star . I'd probably even pay for the app .UPDATE FOR THOSE ASKING FOR NOTIFICATIONS, IVE JOINED THE DISCORD LIKE SUGGESTED BY APP CREATOR AND FOLLOWED THE STEPS AND CAN CONFIRM THIS IS A WORKING METHOD. WITH THAT
Love the companion keep up the good work. The only thing that i see that could change would be the ads. I am a VIP member with borderlands and its other software artists, and every other apps that ive downloaded from them is ad less.
this site is almost constantly being updated by what appears to be one moderator so props to them for continuing on so much for the new wonderlands series. they've updated links and have shift keys almost the day of release. I'm a fan of the menu access bar as well as the ability to mark keys as used. (albeit with a small purchase)
