In addition to a countdown, you can also select from multiple, included, backgrounds to use in the widget or simply choose one of your own personal photos.
The premium version will keep you up to date on what action items you should be prepared for. Regain a piece of mind knowing your device will notify you when its time to make your Disney dining reservation or when its time to make your Disney Fastpass+ selections.
Most notification are clickable and will take you to relevant information pertaining to the notification.
Along with the above, you can choose to receive 'early notifications', such as "notify me a day before" the Disney dining or Fastpass+ selection windows open, and more...

Steps to add your widget
1.) Go to the widget section on your device (most phones if you long press on an empty spot on the home screen)
2.) The widgets are typically arranged alphabetically and, near the bottom, will be Unofficial Disney Vacation Counter
3.) Hold down on the widget and drag it to an open area on your home screen - and let go
4.) When you take your finger off, the widget is placed and tap to open the configuration screen
If you have problems locating the widget in the list or it fails to appear after configuring it, please restart your device and try the above

Useless app! It works when you first install it, but if you turn your phone off, which I do every night, you have the start all over...it deletes the date that you put in! I'm uninstalling it!!
Thought I had issues when opening the app but found the widget again in the list. Happy to have it back and ready for another trip.
so far so good. great little desktop widget. only 4 star as id like to be able to link to social media and more photo options. Now 2* as the widget has stopped updating and needs to be manually refreshed
App worked perfectly for me! Always had the correct countdown and I loved the Disney castle! Will definitely use again!
cant get the app to properly open. If i click "i already know how" to place the widget, it kicks me out of the app. Please get rid of the glitchy "tutorial" on how to place the widget!
Nice countdown. NEEDS update to important dates and tasks due to rules change at Disney!!!
Cannot get the vacation start date to save Update... Everything works now.. Great app
dowloaded it, set my dates and background i wantes but it wouldnt change. it just stayed on the sample page.
All of a sudden it stopped updating the countdown.
Wouldn't let me input my info or save it once I got the info in there.
I really liked the old one better.

App works good. Have to see when the time comes it's notifications work correctly. However I did take away one star due to the fact that you can't change the size of the picture. Not sure if I'm missing something here but would love it to be full size like some other apps.
App was easy to install and set up widget. However the free version is only a date countdown, no notifications or anything that cost money. It's good for free but not great.
unoffic Disney vacation country is the best app.I have ever used this app.This app is too good and I like this app very much.
I watched youtube instruction for how to load the widget. It is pretty easy to use and straight forward. Widget looks pretty and make me excited and look forward to my trip of year.
I am convinced it is this app using all my 3gb of data in a matter of hours 😡 witch is gutting as I really enjoy the count down to my Disney holiday for my 30th but already had to buy more data 5times 😡
This is an update from my original review. It finally let me change the picture and everything seems to be working. Love it!
OMG DON'T GET THUS YOU ONLY GET A DATE AND YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THE REST AND TERRIBLE EVERYTHING DONT GET IT.

I LOVE everything about this app. The count down is spot on a d it notified me it was time to make dinner reservations about 10 hrs before disney. Love the size of the icon and how easily it is to change the image. I had a problem in the very beginning (user error) and got an immediate response to my email. Great job! Highly recommend
This app is a great idea but doesn't work. I have to physically go into the app every day and resave the date to change the count down! I've even left it for 2 days and it still won't change on it's own. Disappointing.
Simple but suits me. For non techies it is spot on. Great pic and accurate countdown. Probably a lot more i haven't looked for. Thank you

Downloaded and no app visible... it seems im not the only one going through the reviews 😔
I used to really love this app until the latest update where Everytime I turn my phone off it cancels the countdown and how it doesn't show the count down all on one row (example I have 124 days and the 12 is on a top row and the 4 is on a row below the 12)
