Unofficial Triple J NowPlaying
Find out what is playing on Triple J right now and save a list of favourite tracks for future reference. This is a very light weight app which utilizes the ABC XML data feeds.

Recently Triple J contacted me requesting that change the name of the app and remove all official TripleJ logos and images. This includes the drums logo and the presenter images. So it still works as before but it's just a little bland now :(
**IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that the Time Zone on your device is correct. The app depends on the correct time zone for your location. 99% of the time most people's time zone is automatically chosen by their network carrier but if you're experiencing problems with track accuracy then please check this setting on your device first before giving the app a 1 star rating.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: This app relies on the Triple J studio Feeds. Depending on the location of the broadcast studio, some Triple J hosts do not (or can not) update what is playing. This generally lasts until the next host takes over the next radio program in a different studio. (you'll be happy to know that this applies to the official Triple J iPhone app as well!)

Since upgrading to galaxy s7 I can't access my favourites. I use it most days so not happy that I can't access this list anymore
This app use to work well, but for some time now it doesn't work at all.. Keeps saying there is no data to be displayed.
Was working now just keeps crashing on HTC one app just foreclosed over and over again :-(
The iOS app is way better and is made by triple J that being said developers tend to not develop for android because google provides a rubbish SDK and make u use third party software like eclipse to create android apps until this improves most developers will do a sloppy job with android apps or just not develop for android. This app is as good as its going to get for android.
Used to love this app but the setting menu is no longer displayed since i upgraded to a lg g4. Its still useable but i cant access the refresh settings now :/
Probably not the devolpers fault used to working amazing now won't display anything hasn't for a month or so now. Hope you can fix it cause I use it everyday :(
It was 5 stars but has started crashing as of today (HTC One device) hopefully fixed asap. Great app while it worked and look forward to it working again in the future
Wish the update history went back a little further (seems to be less than an hour) but otherwise this app is great :)
Simple and great to use! Loads songs quickly. Only just found the favourites and history lists. Will be utilising them often now!
Constantly crashing and slowing down my phone with "tripple j unofficial has stopped working". Before this however it was fantastic and I could save all my fav songs I heard to get later
Why do Triple J seem to want to make it hard for this app to work when they don't have an Android app themselves. When it works its great, not the Dev's fault when it doesn't.
My Triple J hottest 100 list, and my music listening in general, would seriously suffer without this app, its great!
Awesome app, so handy to mark favorites. Samsung uses...hold down the multitasking key to access favorites list as menu button does not appear on screen.
Does exactly what I want, nice and simple. Needs an option to delay the play list for those of us in Queensland that don't do daylight saving.
Works well, data seems to work well as long as JJJ aren't playing a mix or whatever.
I love this app, it's simple but effective. Sometimes can't get what's playing but mostly good. No adds no bugs.

Menu wont display. .Cant see my favourites. .Galaxy S6...Edit- Reinstall fixed it but my faves are all gone... Edit-2 menu gone again..

This app was brilliant! It would keep me informed almost all the time. Now, after more than 3 months, it hasn't done a single thing. Looks like it's finished..
It has been a long time since Triple J released their iOS app and it seemed one for Android would not be far off, but ABC has made it clear that this is not the case. This app is a great placeholder till they do. Updating the songs with good speed allows you to favourite tunes to buy later on. No real issues with it as far as crashing and functionality is very simple and clean.
