It's a good game but the energy issue makes me want to uninstall it. On top of that, my app has started quitting when you watch a video and when I go back it has undone some of my actions but kept the energy so I'm further back. I doubt I'll keep playing tbh, it takes too long to get back to it so it interrupts the flow and 300 energy is used in 5 minutes. It's a shame because it's interesting and fun.
It's a solid well-designed game, though one that benefits from a larger screen. The energy and monetization is pretty unfriendly though. I agree with the comments that it's hard to judge how much energy you're spending because there isn't an in game counter - it's outside in the games menu. Also the "watch this ad for 20 energy" doesn't give 20. It gives as little as 4 and as much as 18. I haven't been able to tell what determines the amount.
Awesome game. Download 1 mystery, play it, delete the story after finishing without losing progress, which is great for storage space and saves data. Great graphics. Perfect voice overs. Amazing stories. Challenging mysteries at the same time very reasonable and logical! And unlimited hints to help us get through without worrying. Only thing that bugs me a little is the energy expense rate! Too much for too little! But love it nonetheless! Best one in it's genre!
Only reason 4 stars is free play time allowance. "AE Mysteries" is the only comparable game I have, as to how the levels challenge me and make me feel 'super smart' 🤓 but I do have to say, this game allows very little play time in comparison without spending money. But all in all, cool game to have on hand. I just go a day or two to let energy build up (it literally takes that long unless you wanna just do two things at a time)
The game is fun. It can definitely be challenging, which is great, however, if you're not willing to pay real money or sit through 30 seconds ads to get 20 points of energy at a time, you run out of energy rather quickly. It spoils the flow of the game and causes you to forget where you were because you have to wait so long to keep playing. It can be frustrating. If that one aspect of the game could be altered, I would happily give it 5 stars. As of now, though, I can really only give it 3.
Lots of Great graphics and fun storyline! Easy to play and Enjoyable! The only down fall it the countdown of the energy to the amount of time you can play! I have no way in the game to earn energy to continue in the game. Once your energy runs out you either pay for more or you have to wait! That is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5! Should give you a way to earn the energy and diamonds!
The game is fun. It does make you problem solve The only problem you cant solve is why it takes so much energy to accomish anything. To start you can play for about 20 min/ 24 hrs...then it becomes 5min/24 hrs. Pretty frustrating in regards to how much energy it takes to accomplish a task. Most take 4 or 5 but some take 20! So I guess I won't get this done for awhile.
I like this game a lot, but the energy is the problem. There's only one free way to get it and that's every 4 hours! Either do away with it altogether and add extra levels for in app purchases instead or make more free ways to get energy that don't take forever for not even enough for some tasks.
Game is ok, puzzles are mostly "find a thing and carry it around until you find the thing it matches" but it's fun enough. Unfortunately it's basically unplayable because you get appx 15 minutes worth of energy per day and then you can't play again without paying. Edit: To respond to the developer comment: further suggestions are to fix your predatory energy system because it ruins your game.
I really like the game but you run out of energy so fast! You're given the option to watch ads for some more energy but the ads don't work for me and I have to wait for it to charge normally to continue playing. Edit: the developers seemed to have fixed the issue with the video ads not playing so I gave it another star. However, their still is an issue with how fast the energy runs out. I added 20 extra energy points after watching an ad and it allowed me maybe 3 more clicks. It was absurd.
The puzzles are awesome. The stories are compelling, my only complaint is the energy is on a four minute cycle for one single energy. I get that it's a choice to encourage in app purchases, but when the actions consume a range of energy and it's not explained how much per action, it is disappointing to run out and basically have to wait a day to have full energy again.
I really like the game but the energy thing is silly. It fills so slowly I really only play when it fills up, once a day, and can't progress far when it does. It'd be nice if they got rid of the energy all together and charged for hints or something. I am finding that often when I complete tasks and close the app due to depletion of energy the progress I've made is undone and I need to do it again, yet the energy spent is not replenished. PLEASE FIX THIS APP, IT COULD BE SO AWESOME
Great game If you want something to do for 5 minutes every 24 hours. Energy usage is too high. You burn through it like it's air. 5 energy to click an item in seek puzzle is crazy, especially when there are at least 10 items to find. 50 energy to click an image 10 times is crazy... It's 1 puzzle. It also takes way too long to refill. Lits like they want you to buy energy on a daily basis.
I like playing this game. It's a great game. Wonderful graphics. Terrific storylines. The game gives the person the ability to choose. All in all, wonderful. What isn't wonderful however is the energy. Only a 20%reduction IF one watches a video. 20 energy points IF one watches a video. Slow refill on energy but an expensive energy use! HORRIBLE! Don't try emailing. I've had an email in for almost a week and received ONE generic reply.
Ive recently written a review but it no longer seems to show. The game is fun and the story line is intriguing. But the energy waste to quickly and takes way to long to reload. I had 13 energy and watched the ad for 20 free energy and my energy only went up to 17 so that's only 4 energy added. Having to wait so long for energy to reboot drives you away from playing the game.
Great game! Not enough energy Love the story line and the graphics are great. I was enjoying it very much but in the back of mind I was like whats the catch. Turns out I didn't know I needed energy. There was no visible energy bar. The power ups are expensive. I decided to go to bed and play the next day only to find out I only received about half energy after 5 hours. Not sure ill continue to play.
Enjoying the strategy and graphics of the game, hidden object is even visible 😃, however I would suggest as others have mentioned Energy is way too slow and expires too soon. I can't even get through 5 minutes of playing each day. May be done by end of summer. 😔 I have updated my 🌟 because of the time the developer took & responded to my comments 🙃. Yes! Definitely enjoying game and puzzles with great story plot. 😀 I would say I haven't figured out the ending yet.
This game is really fun. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes solving mysteries. Like the other reviews, the only complaint I have is with the energy. I'd like to be able to play more but can't really afford to buy gems to buy energy. I watch all the ads given to stretch out game play, but there's even a limit to the number of energy giving ads (I would watch more if it were an option).
It's extremely frustrating to play a puzzle in this game and run out of energy one move before finishing, only to have to spend all the energy all over again when I come back to complete the puzzle because it resets. It's been a reoccurring theme, since your energy level isn't actually shown on the play screen.
Every action takes 5 energy, 1 energy is earned every 4.5 minutes. So when you get to the parts where there's a room and it gives you a list of items to find...each item will cost you 5 energy. It's clear they want you to spend real $ for more energy, because it takes so long otherwise. I don't know if I'll have the patience to keep it long enough to finish the game.
The game is super fun, the only thing that eats butts is that it takes more than a good night's sleep to refill your energy bar and that you spend that energy so fast. (That you need energy at all) You don't know how much you're using at a time for anything either, so the 20% discount doesn't seem worth it at all. Also it's only 20%, so you'll get one extra move? I think? Again, it's not very clear. **We shouldn't have to email to get the full rules.😊**
I've already "reviewed" this game once and appreciate the developers promise to make the energy rejuvenation more accessible and less expensive. The "watching ads" function is limited and not strong enough to keep people playing even if they decide to purchase additional energy. It is a great game, minus the expected expense of energy rejuvination....maybe allow players to play completed levels with no negative energy expenditure so they can try to complete missed objectives without penalty???
A great selection of games - I find that Artifex Mundi is the best at making these kinds of have - however, either the energy recharge is far too slow or the actions use up too much energy (even with the 20% off). This needs to be better balanced. I would be far more likely to spend more on in game purchases if this were better balanced. From a UX side, your energy should be overlayed on the screen at all times and show energy deductions (briefly show -20 near the energy counter for example)
I love it! It's definitely not too hard or too easy like some of these style of games. I could spend all day on it, BUT the downside is you run out of energy tokens quickly, so you can't play long :/ which is frustrating, even if you buy a pack to get more you still won't have a lot of time to play. The hints also cost energy, and the hints only help if you're close to what you need so you can easily spend too much on that alone. I just wish I could play longer, but still good game.
It's a great game. The storylines are fantastic and the visuals are stunning. My only gripe with it is the fact it takes soooo long for energy to fill. 1 point of energy every 4 1/2 minutes?? That means 22 1/2 HOURS to get fully filled. There has to be a way to either shorten the fill time or have other ways to fill energy for free besides 1 ad every 4-8 hours.
Honestly I love this game so much! It's good graphics and is great for a brain workout 👌 my only issue is with the energy. It goes to quickly and even though watching an ad is meant to reward with 20 energy bolts it only gives 10 and can only watch ads to get energy once every 4 hours when it takes less than 4 minutes to use it. Please make it so there's a lot more energy to use so I can play more 🙏
Honestly an amazing, challenging game with lots of puzzle styles, great artistry and interesting storyline. However, just about everything you touch takes up an insane amount of energy and takes WAY too long to replenish. I probably get about 6 minutes of game play a day over 2 sessions that are like 12+ hours apart because it takes so long and it's so expensive to buy energy and tha package doesn't even get you much gameplay anyway. I'd give 5 stars if I could play more than 2 mins at a time.
I really like all these games. I understand the reviews criticizing how quickly you run out of energy; however, if you don't use the hints, it lasts much longer. I don't like that the energy basically takes a complete 24 hours to completely renew. I would give it 5 stars of you would just regenerate the energy more quickly. A full day is just too long.
This would be a five star mystery type hidden object game. Stories are great. Some of the best. But it runs on energy and you play for ten minutes and it doesn't refill for well over a day. You watch an add for 20 energy, does three things, and before you even play the ten minutes you watch an ad so actions cost 20% less energy and still... I cannot even remotely understand why you'd do this to your game... Ruined it. Don't bother starting it.
Love this, it's the right level of brain tease and easy. The graphics can be a little too dark, but they're beautifully drawn. The energy runs out after a while, which means I don't waste hours! I've used my free puzzles and want to buy the app, but don't understand if it's a one off payment or recurring? The information isn't clear - team, can you help?
