It's pretty and it's lightweight, but what does it actually do? I still have to use my browser for clickup, student portal, timetables etc. A pretty app without a function is like a convertible Porsche without an engine or wheels, what's the use? Rather use the time to fix the student portal. I would suggest downloading Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as it fulfills the same purpose(and more) in a convenient package.
The service was terrible, almost no help to students that are trying to mail contracts and applications. Disappointing and pathetic helplines, and it takes weeks for them to come back to you via email.
There is NO need for the app ngoba it keeps redirecting to the website! Hhayisuka!
The app is stuck on the loading screen. I have not been able to use it.

The app appears to be basically a front end for the UP website, simply redirecting to webpages loaded in an in-app browser (it doesn't even log the user in automatically, rather linking to a webpage where on has to log in). In this capacity, it works, but it seems a bit redundant because one can just load the UP website in a mobile browser and get exactly the same functionality. A mobile app should really add to the user experience, rather than act as a set of links to online content.
