I have been thinking. What if we could get the servers back up. How many of you would be willing to put $20 towards getting this app running again. I would like to revive my old up. It was this best fitness tracker I had when it came to comfort. And the fact it looked like a piece of rebar bent around my wrist fit my style.
So disappointing that Jawbone devices/apps no longer work! I have both Jawbone & FitBit Trackers, but much preferred the interface of the UP app to that of the FitBit. Even though they are no longer in business (if you're wondering why you cannot connect your device) they should still allow users to access their Tracker via the UP app. and store data on their phones instead of their obsolete Servers. Sadly both are now redundant and my Tracker might as well go in the bin :(
I just installed this so excited to be able to use to team up with my sister on our health goals (shes an iOS and I'm an android user) but it won't even let either of us get past set up. No issue changing my review if this is solvable. Hope so! If not, moving on to a better app.
Well it seems you all do not read your reviews or care that no on can get their app to work and connect the device properly.. I have the same issue.. have never been able to pair and now the app doesn't work for connection to the internet prob.. I have an UP2.. either fix the problem or refund everyone their money for a product that can not be used! Holly
I just got an UP 3, and when I go into the app and select my band, it says there is no internet connection even though there is. I have tried different wifi networks, and my data. I have also uninstalled and installed the app multiple times. Please help!
I was honestly so disappointed when I found out the company shut down, and I had spent $180 down the drain. I've seen the reviews and all the happy ratings, so I'm unsure why you even shut down the company. There is so far no alternative app, and due to servers being down, it's pointless getting this app. After all, you can't connect to wifi, and don't even try to sign up. I'm guessing if the servers were still on, the app would have worked just fine. Just am super disappointed by this.
I downloaded the app, tried to set up the up3 jawbone it said I needed an internet connection which I have; clicked 'ok'... nothing happened. selected the up3 jawbone again...same thing happened. uninstalled the app started from scratch no luck. this app and jawbone is garbage.
Company folded. No servers for this app to work, required. Why is this still available for download since it stopped working over 7 months ago?? All jawbone products using this app are now plastic waste unless this app was installed and logged in prior to company pulling the plug. Unable to find any alternative app :(
I was given the Up3 as a gift awhile back and decided to test it out. I tried downloading and setting it up on my tablet but the account setup submit never went thru. I tried to connect the bracelet but kept getting the must connect to internet required. So I then tried to go through the internet on my laptop to find there website for setup and support has been moved or deleted. They basically have taken people money and then dissappeared but still allowing people to buy & download the garbage.
Decided that i wanted to use my UP3 again after a year of neglect. The app wont help me reset my password, nor will it let me start from scratch. If I try to create a new profile, it tells me an internet connection is necessary... each time I am successfully connected to the internet. Im very upset I can't use my old tracker.
It gives me a continous error of 'internet connection required' . I have WiFi and mobile network both but it does not work on either. I am not able to use see the app at all so now I don't know what use is the jawbone device which I bought!
Jawbone folded and closed down the app support for trackers that many customers were currently using and that were still being sold in stores. I have a perfectly functional fitness bracelet that I don't want to throw in the landfill, but it is useless without app support. What an irresponsible waste.
Won't let me even sign up, keeps telling me I need to have internet connection. I have that so think this app has a bug and is useless until they fix it. So don't even waste your time or money on a jawbone product.
Can someone build an alternative app for this? You might as well delete the app! You're bankrupt and we can't even use the app. "No Internet Connection"? I sure do have an Internet connection! JawBone do you even read these reviews? How unfair that I paid 180 (Bought it when it ead new and didn't open it until now) for a non-functioning device without a working app!
Jawbone was sold and liquidate as of 2018. They have shut down their servers amd the company sold their bands to 3rd party companies. This is why they are still readily available on the market. I am a techy and though i could find an app that could pair with my Up24. Sadly no. The company did not sell their coding technology to anyone in the liquidation. Jawbone will not work with any other app. Do your homework on altenatives for fitness trackers that is right for you.
I recently found my bracelet and wanted to start working on my fitness. I downloaded the app and all it tells me is to connect to the internet it won't pair with my bracelet. I can't even log in with my old account. It keeps telling me everything is invalid and when I asked to reset my password it still tells me I am not connected to the internet, even though I am.
Been trying to set up for over a hour the app is useless it keeps telling me I need access to the Internet but I full signal & connecting to WiFi doesnt help either. Completely useless & frustrating what a waste of money
Unable to even sign up for the app. Used to use the caffeine tracker from jawbone ages ago and loved it. Very disappointed that I can't even get past the sign up screen.
App does not work, will not proceed past sign up page. Link to UpMove also does not work, cannot find app for UpMove anywhere, website is no use. Super annoyed.
This is the worst app ever. Keeps telling me I need internet access, but all my other apps are working. I cannot get my Jawbone to work at all. Absolutely ridiculous. Not at all user friendly.
If I try to connect to my phone it keeps crashing and if I try to connect to my UP2 it keeps telling me internet connection is required even though I'm connected to the internet so I basically just wasted my money on a bracelet. Thanks for nothing.
I found my bracelet lately so I tried to download the app, It always recommend internet cnx while i'm connected. I tried to connect from the phone or the laptop. It didn't work. I think this app had been expired
UP is no more! The app should be removed from the app store as the company no longer exists. Anyone who has purchased a new device can ask for a refund - details can be found on Google. Such a pity as was the perfect wearable to not interfere with life but the best app I've found. RIP my little UP
It never worked in the first place. My UP is fully charged, and I have very strong WIFI connection. I went on the app and selected my UP2, it took a good 5 minutes to load and then said I have no Internet connection. I'm super confused and sad, please tell me how to fix this problem. Edit : Looked at other reviews, and seems that the company have shut down. It's a real shame.
