Upflix - Netflix Updates

I've been using this app for a long time now and it has always been my go to guide for Netflix viewing. But, I noticed some changes which weren't for the better. It used to be just for Netflix. Now several other platforms are included. I loved this initially but almost every day there's at least 1 title or more that either doesn't even exist on the streaming Platform the app states or if you do find it, it's not free. (i.e.prime) Cust Srv no help at all. Pls cross check list BEFORE publishing!!

Forces you to use relevant ads to be able to use the app. If you de-select the option and only allow them to use general ads they will prompt you to either pay or change your setting.

Used to be my go-to app to discover titles leaving Netflix. I don't know what's happened but this year they've got it completely wrong. There are titles showing as leaving later in the year which actually left a few weeks ago. There's numerous titles showing as still available which are no longer on Netflix. Has become totally unusable as it is giving totally false info. Contacted support weeks ago (31 Dec) but haven't received a reply.

I love this app and the fact that you added a watch list was my dream come true. But anytime I go see what I've saved... it crashes 😭 please fix this so I see what I wanna watch. Thank you!

It's great, especially showing so many different streaming services in one place.

I have the paid version. A very useful app with clean UI but unfortunately so much lost potential because of outdated lists. Many shows that are available on the selected stream services do not show while shows that are no longer available still show on the app. Otherwise I would have rated this one 5 stars. Hoping for a fix soon then I'll come back and change my rating.

I like the app and the ability to link to my Netflix account to add the programs. My only and definitely biggest complaint is that it doesn't tell you "everything" that has been released to Netflix. There's been many programs I've seen new on Netflix that I'm interested in watching, but they were never on this app. At least not in the "added to Netflix today" notification. I never tried searching the app for those titles. Didn't feel the need to.

This would have been a 5 star review for the content, however, recently the app has somehow gained the ability to increase my media volume every time the app is opened. I assume this is because some of the ads that pop up when you open the ad are videos and then you're forced to hear it. I tested this multiple times by turning the system volume all the way down. Every time, it gets turned back up just by opening the app. Uninstalled because of this.

very, very comprehensive list of what's new on Netflix. when they dump 90 Bollywood videos at once, by god you'll know. (that's not hyperbolic, Netflix apparently dumps international films all at once.) the only real glitch I've encountered is sometimes the thumbnails/trailers are for different but similarly named films, which is pretty common for programs of this type. however, the ad network they use randomly tosses in full screen video ads with the sound on by default. it's absolutely infuriating to open a seemingly basic app and have some stupid ad blast music at you for ten seconds. it's honestly so bad that if I can find an alternative app, I'm switching. until then, this works, just use with caution.

Very useful and always up to date. I can even look up new additions from other countries. And the Expiring tab is a brilliant feature that allows me to plan ahead in order to not miss anything on Netflix. But now, things have changed with ads that have a countdown before they allow you to close them. That very annoying feature will lead me to uninstall this app.

I love this app, I love the clear overview and the fact that it shows imdb ratings and sometimes language which I wish Netflix would do. Also love that it shows what films are soon to be removed from Netflix. I understand the app needs to show ads but recently the "x" button to close the ads has disappeared so I'm not able to get rid of the add and get to the actual Upflix app. Please fix so we can continue using Upflix.

I like this app, but the recent update that now modifies your volume setting is unacceptable. Also, the startup ad used to be immediately skippable, but now you have to wait a while (usually 5s). I know that's not a lot, but there's no value to me or the advertiser if I'm watching an ad that doesn't interest me. These two changes are a deal breaker for me.

It's okay. Helpful for finding something to watch because Netflix is like digging through a garbage bin to find a few good ones. The only problem I had is sometimes the movie isn't there, when I go to watch it on Netflix, and the app says it's still available. Big fail. I've been excited all week to watch The Matrix tonight but oops it's not there anymore

Update 9.1.20 - This Yatzee ad is still preventing me from accessing the Upflix content. The back button on Android will not work and there is no visible way to X out of the ad. There is a Yatzee ad that will not close so I can view the Upflix content. 3rd day in a row. So frustrating!! Using the Android back button does not work and there is not a close button that I can see. This has happened now at least 5 times.

The App is okay. It does what its suppose to, but i changes your Volume settings each time you open it. Everytime you open the app there will be a video Add. This app makes sure you and everyone around you hears it by turning uo you Volume to 60%, even if you had it at 0%. I contacted the support through the app and suggested that they should change it, but no answer. Overall, plain App with annoying Volume stuff and checking the Netflix update section on the Netflix app itself, does the same

Used to be better. It would be great if you could limit your criteria by language across all filters and search boxes. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for a subtitles film. The roulette wheel no longer let's you select a genre (or language), and the updates are sometimes late by a day or more.

Update: the new update to the app has other streaming services added which is absolutely brilliant! Top app! There is so much on Netflix, this is a fantastic app for keeping up to date with new additions. I have the push notifications added and have discovered some good shows that wouldn't necessarily come on my recommendations. There is also a list of what is coming off the service. I've used that less but it's still handy.

Missing a filter option to only show movies (exclude only tv shows)

Excellent app that is a must for anyone who uses Netflix. Easy to use interface. And, best of all, it's FREE. Upflix saves you the time and frustration of figuring out the new additions to Netflix, and helps you to easily find what you're looking for. - My only wish is that it had a Dark mode setting.

Nice, useful app! I have a feature request: Please include an option in the language settings to be able to see all available languages combined, with maybe a small flag in the upcoming/upgoing entries, indicating from which country it is. One star because your app changes media volume like you own my device. Are you mad? Do you hate your own app? Look at the ratings! Oh, and I can't find dark mode.

I have been a user of this app for quite a while, and I generally find it very useful, but the push notifications seem to have stopped working months ago. As a result I often forget to check the app at all. Even sending a test notification from the settings menu appears to be broken. A fix at some point would be great.

Great but too many ads. This app was very good when I first got it, telling you whats incoming and expiring from Netflix, however, the ads and the amount of ads have started to become irritating. Uninstalled it, seeing as Netflix now has a feature where they tell you what's coming soon anyway.

No new updated titles for expiring list in over 2 weeks. We all know Netflix has titles leaving almost every day. Last days of month and still nothing. Other apps better with new titles added, upflix always missing new movies compared to justwatch app. Kept it as only app i found has expiring soon tab, but will delete it soon if they dont get their act together. UPDATE: Next day 60 movies added to expired, little to late for at least 6 i wanted to see

was a great app, gives inaccurate information regarding what shows are shown on netflix (for germany at least). By loading forces 5 seconds advertising (other apps ask) even though its fine since thats how they fund the app. can remove advertising with in-app purchases, like i said though other apps ask if you wish to watch advertising to support regardless. i would swap to 3 stars if the information on films/tv shows was accurate.

Was hoping it would be great tool to filter out Netflix content by IMDM and Rotten Tomatoes rating. Unfortunately it is not the case. It has "spin" (reference to roulette) option which randomly selects on movie according to your selection, but even here there is bug. You can not selected genre as drop down menu does not work.

I like the app, it's a cool way to be notified of what's coming up on Netflix. One thing I don't understand though is that mostly I'm shown films from Asia and India are new on Netflix. I'm based in Germany and they use a lot of dubbed movies so it could be true but whenever I look down the list of whats coming up, it's 90% movies and series from India/Asia. Is there something wrong with my settings or is that really the bad taste of German Netflix? :)
