Upgrado

So far it does what it needs to do. Opens quick, connects to my Suito and checks for firmware updates. Tip to improve connection success is to power down the unit you're trying to update, turn off Bluetooth on any devices that have been previously connected to it and the power the unit up again; after it's had some time to "boot" give the app a try.

I don't understand the need to log in. Password recovery was painless. User name is email address - but they don't tell you that. No update available for my first-generation Drivo. Which means sudden changes in the power setting in erg mode continue to result in 40 seconds of overshoot. Digital feedback control has been around for 50 years. Elite engineers should read a book on the subject.

The app is completely useless. Won't connect, then I get locked out of the account. Now I have new Turbo trainer that I can never update. So much for being up and running quickly out of the box. A waste of money. I'm returning it to the store, if they build apps this badly thier machines will be just as bad.

Update Failed - Sterzo. Unable to update the Sterzo with this app. Unfortunately the workaround was to use the iOS application. Very poor/pointless Android app if updates cannot be applied

App updated sterzo just fine... after I modified the sterzo so the batteries always make connection. Before I did that it was super frustrating.

The app can't find my device (Steerzo Smart) which is now useless as it will no longer work without the update.

I've tried many times to update the firmware and the app keeps crashing. Lost count how many times I tried. Last resort was trying another smartphone and it worked first time. If you are experiencing problems as I have try a different phone, it worked for me. My phone is two years old and my son's is a year younger. It may well be an issue with my phone, but I'll never know.

After the Suito showed way too low power on Zwift I thought upgrading the firmware might be helpful. Well... The update failed and now its inpossible to connect to the trainer. It seems like the firmware got completely erased. Even after the startup there are now LEDs lighting up or anything. First I had an trainer without correct power numbers and now it doesn't work at all. Can't recommend this Trainer, or as far as I could read on the internet, elite in general.

Completely useless app. Created an account with the app when I bought the steering device so I could upgrade its firmware, but this app now does not recognise my account login details. Unable to reset my password for my existing account because it won't let you. It won't let you create a new account either. I've tried updating the app and also uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if that would sort the problem with the app. Still does not work. This app is complete garbage and not fit for purpose. Glad I don't own an elite cycle trainer because I'd be screwed if I needed to update the firmware on it.

Shockingly bad, try to connect to training and app shuts down. What's the point of an app to assist when it doesn't even work itself. I've reinstalled on a few occasions and the same problems persist. Sort it out asap.

The app is OK but the lack of functionality a shame. After years of discussion on forums, Elite has yet to release the tools to change the resistance response times in ERG mode on Drivo, Drivo II etc. Some owners had their trainers patched by their technical support team but this is a slow process. Users should be able to select response times themselves. Short intervals of high power in ERG mode can take more thn 10 seconds to reach target power rendering an otherwise great trainer useless.

Login for firmware update, nobody has time for that! Why login? I am 100℅ it is not necessary from a tech perspective. But why make it easy for the user??? Update: why do you need exactly the login data for the upgrade? I haven't received an answer. To show graphs to management who updated and who did not? It's not fair to force this just for updating the firmware. Do I have to login when I download a new firmware for my router? I'm very disappointed in your company and I don't trust it. I will delay the update, I also see that there are issues with recovering the password. What else is not working? That's why I can't afford to have a failed firmware update at this time with the lockdown. I'm sorry, but in the end I see that your management don't value the customer, so that my review is 1 star.

Extremely poor app and customer support. You should look beyond emails for communication with customer. Some amount of dedicated effort is required to resolve issues. After a failed firmware update the trainer has got into a DFU mode and is not detected on any of elite upgrado or myelite apps. Customer support contacted but your trouble shooting guide is so poorly informed that one has to wait for eternity. Problem not resolved, trainer is unusable.

Awful app, having to create an account is only a minor issue, the main issue is that the app dosnt work half the time. Why would I be surprised, my Direto X stopped bluetooth stopped working and the ANT+ is so bad that it is useless.

Just keeps saying that there's a network error. Edit: Turning off WiFi allowed it to start the update, but took a few tries as it kept losing connection and saying to unplug and replug the unit.

The app bricked my suito. Downloaded app, connected to my trainer, I got an "upgrade failed" message, and now my devices (phone, computer, rablet) don't even recognize the suito. When I unplug/re-plug the suito in, it doesnt even show the normal power and bluetooth lights. My trainer is now a brick.

Does not recognize my direto xr will not come up so cant download when no unit is shown on app. When you spend $1000 dollars on a trainer connectivity should be easy including auto updated firmware this app is a total POS, I had high hopes for this trainer but now sending the elite direto xr back to store. My time is valuable and rather not try figuring out BS software.

NOT working for Elite Sterzo - After creating log-in, the App will eventually discover the elite Sterzo but will FAIL to connect to it in any way to install the REQUIRED firmware updates.

Didn't realize I'd have to hand over my name and email address just to use a device I paid for. Zero reason for this at all. Will not buy again.

First screen you see in the app asks you to login. Forget password doesn't work, displaying a dialog to confirm that an email will be sent but "Ok/Cancel" buttons are displayed, thus I am stuck and can't update my trainer.

Unstable, but worked for me. It might have crashed half a dozen times, but in the end, it upgraded the firmware in about 20 mins.

App crashes constantly with latest update. Not usable.

The app will not detect my trainer even when I a pedaling and my tablet is in my hands. Now i can't even log into my account to check for updates due to an error retrieving my data. Ridiculous to have to log in to update a piece of equipment i bought. Just let me easily ensure firmware are up to date.

Recognizes Sterzo Smart but won't connect or update firmware from my mobile device (Motorola G6). I just get the little working symbol until my phone shuts off. Others in forums have had the same issue, but problem persists. I guess it's hard to hire programmers these days.

It won't let me create an account to be able to check if the firmware is up-to-date or not. The Tuo on zwift seams too easy on zero gradients

Well this app isn't working for me at all. I tried to get it to connect so I could do the update but that didn't happen which stinks. Does anyone have any suggestions on this matter?
