The app can also export to GPX and share to Facebook.
Other than reading from your Garmin, the app can also import FIT and TCX files from sdcard, flash drives, etc.
For some Garmin models, the app can also send tracks / courses to the device (see here: http://www.sportablet.com/send). This feature will be gradually implemented for every device.

Some Samsung and Sony phones / tablets have a built-in ANT+ chip, if you have one you don't need the Garmin ANT+ dongle *when connecting an ANT+ Forerunner*.
The Uploader is free to try: you can read all activities, but explore only one (from your first upload session). That way, you can test communication with the Garmin and publishing to all the supported websites.
Once you know that it works fine with your Garmin device and Android phone/tablet, if you like what you see, you can activate it with an in-app purchase on Google Play (price is about 5 euros / 6.6 $).Note: in-app purchases are slow, and may take a couple of minutes to be confirmed. Don't panic :-).

Great app that does what it says with my Galaxy S8 and Forerunner 410. Would give it 5 stars if it had configs to allow: 1. setup of a default upload target (so it had one click upload) 2. a bulk upload of a few runs rather than one at a time 3. auto delete of a run following successful upload to the chosen portal But all in all, good work!
The app saves the activity to the phone's SD card, but it fails to export it directly to Garmin Connect. I was able to do it manually, using my computer. I dragged the tcx file to the Garmin Connect website into my Firefox web browser. The developer contacted me right away and sent me a link for downloading a new apk.
Works quite well with my Garmin 310xt and Galaxy S9. Sometimes doesn't work on the first try, but always on the second. It's great to be able to upload files without having to bring my laptop and ant+ stick. Thank you!
works well with Samsung a5 and garmin 910. I have to go into flight mode first then open app and connect to get it to work without problems. I think this is an ant+ issue with my phone not the app.
This app worked as I hoped. I love that the free version let's you prove it will work with your device and you dont need to pay until your convinced it does. Works with my 910xt. 6 bucks for the app beats buying a new watch just to download files.
This app has allowed me to get rid of my computer. For years now, I've been able to sync immediately, wherever I am. It's worked great even across several different phones and devices.
I hadn't seen a need to use this, but now Garmin Express no longer stores a local chippy of your fit files, this is a perfect solution as you can easily export to your sd card. It works very well with my 910XT and is great for those of us with older watches.
Great app! Uploads from my Forerunner 910XT with ease. For some reason, I can no longer export to Strava. It takes me back to Sportablet home page. :(
Worked great or for the last few years but no longer uploads to Strava. Keeps resorting back to ST site after requesting Strava authentication. Been a great app though in fairness. Time for a new watch
Seems to now be non functional with Garmin Connect as 'unknown error' every time trying to upload item. Sept '19 -Fixed - sideloading new apk from blog fixes issue. Many thanks.
No need to discard your old Garmin Forerunner -- this app brings wireless transfer of data. Author is very cool and still updates app within days whenever Garmin makes a change. Works great.
Garmin connect error still not fixed. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Edit: installed using the apk linked to on the blog and working perfectly again. Cheers.

Great app, great customer support. Developer always happy to update the app following changes from the likes of strava and garmin even though there seems little financial benefit for him. Very kind and much appreciated.
it's ok for transferring runs but I can't transfer a swimming Garmin file to Garmin connect. it does the job though and much cheaper than upgrading the watch.
Just went to the blog and downloaded the Jan 2021 Garmin Connect upload fix. So simple and installed perfectly. Great app and great support, thanks.
Using this app for one year. Instead of buying a new laptop i purchased this app. Best app ever. I can upload my activities on Garmin connect and that is connected to strava. Using Garmin 310 xt. Thanks Carlo
Everything works great for me, except I can't get the strava authentication to work from it. every time i hit authenticate, it goes to the sportablet web site. any thoughts? happy to go to 5 stars if i can figure that out
I rarely bother giving reviews for apps, never mind written ones but this deserved the effort-great app, works, quick, pushes and pulls from where I need to.
Works perfectly once you read and implement the "tweaking" section in the instructions. Uploaded all my recent data off my 910XT last night without having to boot my prehistoric laptop - happy boy...........
Excellent app. Since today, I can not seem to upload my activities onto Garmin connect. It gives me a connection error.
Brilliant app for uploading to tablet. Uploads to Strava and Endomondo. Used to work for Garmin Connect but I now get 'connection error'.

Works as advertised. Data loads from forerunner 310xt and then to garmin connect and to runkeeper. Very happy.
No longer able to export to Strava - makes the entire app totally useless for me.

I've been using this app for several years to upload my Forerunner 910XT with no issues at all. It saves all the inconvenience of having to wait until I get home to use a computer and is excellent value for money. Unfortunately I have recently upgraded my phone to one running Android 10 and my Forerunner now won't connect to the app. Is there a workaround for this? Update, /05/03/2021. I tried your advice but still not working. How can I upload a log file? Update, 09/03/2021. All sorted thanks.
