But we haven’t mentioned all features yet; you can even set a dynamic DNS updater! So you can always access your device from everywhere, even if the IP changed!
It also has extensive logging functionality, and you can even set the app to email you the log automatically!

All features:
- Add a UPnP Server, and set the following: name, port (for HTTP files serving), enable extra data for Samsung devices, enable logging, only log errors, start the server when connected to a specific WIFI network and disconnect when the WIFI network is lost, or start on boot, add multiple roots (folder which will be shared)
- Add multiple dynamic DNS updaters (set a custom URL, or choose from ChangeIP, DNSdynamic, DNSexit, DNSMadeEasy, DNS-O-Matic, DNSPark, DtDNS, DynDNS, easyDNS, eNom, HE.net, Joker, Namecheap, No-IP, ZoneEdit)
- For every dynamic DNS updater set the name, timeout (in minutes), hostname, username, password and whether to update with the local or public IP address, start the Dynamic DNS Updater when connected to a specific WIFI network, update on connectivity change, start on boot
- On the settings page of the app you can set the maximum log items to keep, whether to keep a WIFI lock (prevent WIFI from disconnecting automatically), keep the device alive, keep the device alive full (keep the screen on, battery intensive), set to start the app on boot
- You can search/filter the log, or set it to be automatically sent when the log limit is reached.

smart clever and powerful app . thanks
Its work but with limited data size. I have added to photo folders in root in dlna server settings. So on tv both folder visible but the contains of my main photo folder didn't appear but second folder which contains only 2 photo's are visible. I waited long to check may be some sync delays but apparently it didn't work for my main photo folder. Toy application.
Overall a simple and fuss free dlna server. However, files named in Unicode can't be displayed correctly and on reaching the list of it, the list will scroll right back to the top on my dlna players(Denon AVR). Guys who can't see any media on their liSTS most likely had their files all in Unicode. Please check.
I've used a number of DLNA apps, and this one is fairly easy to use, and has options for more advanced users. Pros: works with kitkat's SD card restrictions (a huge plus) Cons: can take a while for it to get recognized (more of an annoyance) all over, well done app.
I'm not sure if it's problem with the app or my phone or the wdtv I use to stream. The server starts and I happily stream for about 15 min. Then streaming stops. I have to restart the server and start streaming again. I use one plus three with Android m
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! This app has been a life & time saver for me! I have multiple devices in my home from game systems to smart phones being the "tech geek " I would have to deal with each device independently. When we bought our 6yr old a new tablet I was able to instal ALL data she wanted from the various devices we have to the tablet simply by using this app!! YES no going to each device with my cable so sweet saves time & headache would give A + × 100 if possible
Works a treat, and even streamed HD content to my WD TV Live box without any glitches.
While other upnp server apps succeed on rendering my phone available to Kodi, this one can't seem to.
Motorola RAZR m, server does not show up on Sony smp-n200 media player. Can not stream from phone to TV. Thanks for wasting my time.
This has potential, but I cannot get my devices to connect to this server installed on my HTC M9. The server can be seen in Windows 10, my TV also detects there is a DLNA server, but both cannot connect successfully.
Get Error 720 when connecting to my PS3, tried using Server Ultimate but that had same problem. Could be an awesome app if it worked for my needs. Will keep an eye on this app in hope for a solution/update.
And brillantly. I think this should be built in all android device and anyway a definite must have. Very slow to populate list of files tough
I was able to configure it on my vtab1008 to use as a server for my droidx. It wasn't that hard just took a bit to play with settings to figure it out.
Works great, can stream home movies and downloaded videos across wifi from my phone.
On my setup i can connect to the server from my tv but cannot see anything. No images no music. Worthless
Server starts and can see on my Panasonic TV but only about 20 items are listed and keep repeating the list for all 300 pics on my S5, can't see the other 280 items
I seem to be stating this a lot today, this is another useless media server
Only comment dev seems to make is try our other apps, which also don't work.
Works well with Samsung Smart TV. Sometimes have to restart the service, but that could be an issue with the TV; Smart is flaky at the best of times.
Good software does not ask for a review first thing. Good software does its job and so much word of mouth happens that the developers are rich. I will change the number of stars if warranted.
I did set up a dlna server, bit for some reason, the server has difficulties displaying all the folders correctly and in alphabetical order. My root folder has about 200 subfolders, with about 4 subsubfolders.
I see the server on my pc but no videos or pics are present. The correct root folders are selected
Tried every app that was rated more highly before trying this. It doesn't have some bs time limit unlike BubbleUPnP. It doesn't detect one file as multiple files like AirWave. It works for longer than most other apps but does desync after about thirty minutes.
Everything else just funds it and plays it. Why is this one so much work.
Wish there was a widget. Other than that it's a great app that I intend on buying to support the dev.
Figured out was not apps fault for not saveing setteings. But android os tasks that had the issue. But works grate
My Panasonic tv pics up all the files and plays from my cheapo Archos cobalt. Good job
Wow. App is polished and reliable. The option to trigger a share start based on WiFi SSID is really a neat feature.
Better than other DLNA apps out there, mainly because of its stability. Its stability is superb, never got disconnected (but a few times due to my internet connection issue). Overall, I love this app!
