UPnPlay

Was great for a while then ads started popping up.. Un-dismisssable ads! They Just sit there in front of the paused playback and can't be removed! Even exiting the app and restarting has no effect... Sadly I am going to uninstall this app.. it had such potential but the scourge of the internet has claimed another victim.

Took my fully charged, sleeping phone from 100% to 0% and forced shutdown in less than 5 hours. Used 80% of CPU time, and made the phone hot! Had to disable to even be able to recharge the phone. Used to be a good app on older Android versions, so may be some compatibility issue?

Great app Took a lil bit to get it to see my SD card files correctly Ogg , vorbis ,flac would be a great addition to playback support

Works perfectly, however defaults to Wan based behaviour when connected to a network without a internet connection, won't bring up upnp until mobile dadta is disabled.

I've installed and uninstalled most of the upnp/dlna apps on the play store and this is by far the best one for audio. The only other app that has come close is dlna player by ginkgosoft. As regards to the user interface of UPnPlay, at first I wasn't keen on it as it seemed somewhat dated but the more I've used this app the more I've grown to like it. I would like to thank the developer for a wonderful app and one which I would be happy to purchase if necessary.

The UI is quite clunky and confusing, especially now on Marshmallow, BUT. This app gets the job done, with no frills and no pretence. All the features I need are there, including downloading. Now, keep the logic and give a a layer of material design and I'll buy!

Lots of 408 errors or it cannot find the file that I know it's there but this app say nope

This app is awesome, but the the left touch area activates as I'm browsing the external renderer's playlist, jolting the volume up to a high value and damaging my ears. Please add an option to disable the volume slider touch area. 5 stars for this

I suggest the dev'r work on memory mgmt. End user has little control. Seems to work after low memory warning, so stop complaining!

Finally an app that does exactly what it says it does! Discovers devices quickly with no pop up ads. An absloute joy to use. Thanks

The first player I installed on my old phone years ago and one of the few apps I install whenever I get a new device. Very capable media player, the author adds new features with each release. Kudos for keeping it free software too.

Every time I start playing something I get error messages but in a few seconds it usually manages to play regardless. Except when it doesn't. I'd welcome a "memory" feature that would resume podcasts where I left them off.

All most all formats of video play how ever .mp4 is not supported on the app. The same plays well on the TV. Pls add support for this format of videos.

Works brilliantly. Tried other similar apps but this one just works and does a great job. Slightly clunky UI but that's a minor quibble. Excellent stuff.

Best app for playing videos to smart TV from mobile through wifi router. Need some UI improvement.

The UI still exactly the same as when I first using this app in 2013 or maybe even 2012. The apps itself works perfectly but please update your UI

This app works much better than the Cambridge CXN streamer installed version.
