Very difficult to set up, locks up and does not allow for any input. The app is a poor attempt for maintaining information flow.
Terrible camera interface when trying to capture ID card images. The auto feature can't tell when it's looking at my cards, it captures after the shutter sound so half the time I was moving my phone. The app lags so much when trying to save the image that it completely froze twice. I haven't even gotten past this part. I downloaded the app hoping it would be able to access my ID cards digitally. I don't need an app just to store a photo of my ID card.
Horrible experience. Doesn't load data on Samsung Galaxy s7 edge. Forced to go through exact same 2 step verification twice. When I was finally able to login, data never loaded. Just pulsing gray shaded areas displayed for several minutes. Really bad, frustrating experience. Honestly the mobile website isn't much better, but at least I can see my account balance.
Same as many others. Upon entering login credentials, I too receive the error message about the app being unavailable. I try daily, multiple times a day, to log in. In over a week, it has been unavailable. Frustrating and pointless. I recommend any and all users with this issue delete the app and discontinue use permanently. Save yourself the stress of trying. Failure is guaranteed. I expect better from an app being touted by multi-million dollar companies as a premier HR app.
I was directed to the App to make logging in easier, ie. fingerprint etc... I found setting up the App easy enough but the information is of no real use. I am retired and need to follow my billing for my insurance very closely since UPoint/Alight failed to take my 1st payment automatically. I make the payment myself now. There is no function to perform that, even after you're redirected to the web site. I may keep the app but it serves no useful purpose for me. James
It would be nice if the app actually opened instead of "Getting data". Wait, I got in. Waiting for text... Still. If I could get the information I wanted on the website, I wouldn't care too much about the app, but like most HR dealings, I can't get anything out of it either. Help me figure it out and I'll change the review. I'd give it ZERO stars if I could and it would actually count. But, as it is you get one just so I can describe why it's so low!
The app is useless providing the absolute bare minimum of functionality. The only good thing about the app is the interface is clean and way too understands butt that is easy to get right when you provide no real useful capabilities.
I never rate apps , but......If I could rate this POS a negative, I would. The biometric never works except the initial setup install. Finger must have to be in exact position. Very limited info, once you get signed in. Hopefully Cintas will move on from this. Looks pretty, no substance.
Couldn't even get past first screen. Kept telling me to accept privacy policy & terms of agreement. When I clicked on the they popped up & I scrolled through them but there was no button at the end to agree. Wouldn't let me past.
Since update I can't access my retirement. Please fix. It keeps saying the app is unavailable try again in an hour or two. This app is completely garbage. It's awful convenient this started about the same time as covid hit and people started getting laid off.
Upoint Moble HR does not down load to my android device! It just loads endlessly for hours without ever finishing. It doesn't display any % amount of down load as it loads either. I freed up some space by dumping some video games & tried to down load again: But it still won't finish loading.
I used this app quite often and then all of a sudden it stopped working. I cant even get the app to open and I have submitted feedback on the app and even uninstalled and then reinstalled the app and the problem still continues. Very very frustrating
I am being generous with 1 star. This app is pointless, could not use because the security code didnt get texted & I tied two different mobile phones which are two different carriers. The app should give email option for the security code. Maybe in the future but I will be deleting app.
It's alright. Locks up a lot. Have to enter password a lot. After I set up biometrics. The app locks up. Have to uninstall and reinstall many times. I like the quickness to my account through the app when that works.
The app takes me to the Target portal but whenever I go to enter in my information, it continues to say that it can't recognize the information. Unless there's a different user than what we sign in with at work, I can't see why it's not letting me sign in.
Handiest app ever for managing 401k and retirement funds. All in one location. UPDATE: it used to be great. Now it's perpetually "not available". Somebody f'd it up with a release and I'm amazed it has gone this long without a fix. Inexcusable.
Useless app. To be honest, calling this an app is an overstatement. Just a two page cramped down version of the website. Anytime you try to do something, you will be redirected to the web. Then what's the point of this 'app'?
I edited my review, since the recent, supposed "upgrade" of the app. Despite a prettier design in icons, the steps are the same. I reduced my rating from a 5 to a 3, due to the fact that now access to 401K, Workday, & Knowledge system are no longer available. No access to Workday, which is a daily task, pretty well makes 50% of app worthless. No warning, no longer enabled on the full site.
The functionality is okay. Website is often down. Not much you can do on the app. It will redirect you to the web. Please work on improving the functionality to allow all transactions via the app.
Can be more useful if u add more options at the menu but it's ok.
People are telling upoint that the app does not work and nothing is being done I can no longer look at my 401k. Well I hope I didn't save that money for nothing. Not surprised times are hard who knows what companies will do during these times.
App worked Ok at first, then suddenly began receiving error message "app doesn't support rooted or jailbroken devices" for no apparent reason. Phone is neither rooted or jailbroken. No longer able to access site. ???? Uninstalled app.
Recently installed on a new phone, the old version worked well. This app nevers shows correct data when it does work. Might as well just log in on computer.
This app was mediocre at best until the last couple weeks when it no longer allowed logins and only returns a message about not being able to reach the server, try again in a few hours. Now it is completely unusable.
Awful app! My employer uses these guys and their systems are a completely disfunctional mess. While at work I can access my account via SSO with no issues but any other way is a confusing disaster. Took 30 mins to figure out my username to link it to my financial aggregator app. The username includes a company ID which is NOT easy to find ANYWHERE. Eventually found it deep in the help section. This info should be easy to find on an account summary page. Horrible UX!
1. Why don't they call this Alight since that's what and who they are? 2. Difficult to access and use. 3. Should be integrated with employer site for SSO and not be completely separate all requiring a separate sign in. Federated sign in is the simple way to let employees use this app. This app, like the third party benefits company, is third rate on a good day.
When I am able login, it takes 2-3 minutes to load first page. When it doesn't work like today all I keep seeing is "This site is unavailable. Visit again at a later time.", 3 hours so far and counting.... I've seen few benefits sites from other providers, but this is the worst.
Terrible app, I am thinking about a big minus 100 as a rating. Needs improvement and fine tuned. Freezing up, constantly triggering a warning not available at the moment, or not responding.
Compared to TDAmeritrade this app is very clumsy! I have been in the 401k since 1989. I had hopes for this app since it has always been difficult to navigate the site. Not much of an improvement.
App worked great for about 6 months. Then the biometric authentication (fingerprint signin) failed for no explainable reason and took me to the manual login screen. Once manual login was completed, I was asked to verify my identity by texting a code to my cell phone. To initiate sending a code, a new screen appeared with a "text me" field to initiate the process. The field was frozen and I couldn't initiate. I'm on Android 11. Phone is ok no problems with other apps. Can login via Windows.
