This is without a doubt one of the worst apps ever made for modern devices. Cluttered, clunky, and impossible to find useful information. Somehow UPS themselves have managed to mess up the most simple orders. If I can help it, I'll never let ups deliver another package with my name on it.
One star because i couldn't pick zero. Junk! Dont know whats going on but have typed coming from and going to addresses 121 times and as soon as i hit continue, it clears the form. You want to ship pkgs or not? And god forbid you switch to another app, then you get to log in and do it all again!
The App is completely useless now, at least on the last version it would work on only wifi, but I could still take a screenshot of my mobile barcode and it a label created at the UPS store, now with this latest update nothing works, I mean nothing at least for my galaxy S22 Ultra, maybe it works for other devices but not mine.
FedEx take notes, lots of notes!!! This is how a delivery service app should work. From changing delivery dates to see where the truck is actually located with my purchase. From notifications on where, when, any changes to delivery to a picture of the package at the delivery spot. UPS app has you covered. Well constructed and easy to use. You won't be sorry, you'll be well informed.
Easy to use, it needs to have the ability to choose a (fill in the blank) delivery spot that you choose. It has several different options, however, the option to choose "Parcel Drop Box" is not one of them. I had a specially-built drop box mounted on my fence at the gate that very few delivery ppl use. Even after I met them at the gate and pointed it out to them. It is 4' from the gate, waist high and easier to use than walk to the gate and drop it on the ground. That is what 95%+ do. Frustrated
Paid for a membership and can't change delivery from the app. Always have to go in person or change on website. Edit 02.28.22 - can't even get into the app from either device. Edit 02.28.22 - fixed the last issue, but I still have to go to the hub to place a hold-for-pickup. Should be on the app. Would save you money and no security risk as I have to show ID and sign to pick a package.
I have never had a bad experience with UPS. Well, since upgrade, I can't even open this app. Never, ever had any problems; NOW, major problems. Unfortunately, email doesn't work, password doesn't work. You really screwed me. Thanks a bunch. Fix it.
Almost perfect these days. I am constantly surprised in the best ways with the usefulness and continuous improvement of UPS Mobile. Understand that even if you only receive rather than send UPS shipments, this app gives you solid notice and controls. Well done.
It worked fine until a few days ago. Now when I click on my shipping history, I can no longer click on a shipment to get the No Print Ship barcode for the UPS store employee to scan so they can print the shipping label. Also, when creating a shipment and completing step 1 and hitting Next, it sends me back to do step 1 again, and all the info I already entered is erased. I had to create the shipment from my PC.
Samsung Z Fold3 Android 12: Just updated app. No history of shipments. Only pending shipment, when clicked on, shows "service temporarily unavailable. When " ok" is clicked in message, returns to shipment with all details showing. Very confusing and annoying.
Much improved! I haven't received my package yet, but so far so good on keeping me informed. The only improvement would be getting an ETA on the package while out for delivery. My schedule can be tight, so more granular info on delivery day would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary. I reserve the right to change my review pending receipt of package. ..but I'm sure I won't have to.
Installed to try to make it easier to get a quote. Extremely frustrating. One field entered incorrectly and it resets the entire form. After 3 simple mistakes in entering data, I'm uninstalling and ready to try the FedEx app.
I had to go into the app to find out there had been a delivery attempt. I thought it would notify me. I signed up for mychoice but its not working. Theres a perpetual loop. I go into the app to make changes to my delivery. It tells me to sign up for mychoice. I sign up (again) it tells me I already have my choice yet I did not receive any updates. I had to catch the driver down the street because he went to the wrong door. The app did not allow me to tell him where to deliver.
UPS is lazy. Keep changing the address to some random address in a town I have never lived in. The app doesn't recognize my log in credentials even after updating the and the app. So I have to re-update every time I try to log in. Poor customer service.
I haven't had any problems with the app loading up so I can check on my packages! UPS has always been good to me. I really like that you can tell the delivery person instructions on delivery and so far so good.. Thanks to all the drivers! Stay safe!!
I was told by UPS the app would save money on a delivery change. Downloaded & created an account. It is very not helpful. My local distribution center is not listed. Per my call it is an option. Other choices are not close to my area. Many 1-2 hours further away. I need my parts earlier than scheduled. I am even willing to pay the extra. Apparently it is to much to ask of the app. Why have an app if it isn't useful. I will delete it immediately. What a joke!
