Upward Basketball Coach

Once I worked myself around the app, I found everything I needed plus much more. It is easy to navigate through and it has a very fast response time in downloading & retrieving infirmation. The only problems I found were: 1. No spell check on this evaluation, & 2. It would not allow more than 1 person to access the Coach's team information using a 2nd User Name & Password.

Needs a little more work... "Remember Me" function should at least remember Coach's email address but it does NOT, requiring complete login info every time you launch the App. Does not let you scroll down in a players info page within the Team Roster section so you cannot see/edit/Add to Contacts any additional Parent/Guardian beyond the first listed. Needs a back button/arrow on the Team Roster page. The "Team Page" you can share only lists the Head Coach (yet reads "Coaches"--would be nice to list ALL Coaches for that particular team). The "Team Page" "Practices" section could benefit from tweaking the "Next Practice" to include the calendar date of that Next Practice (the ever-present/sticky/pinned text "Practice Begins Week Of xx/xx/xxxx" doesn't serve planning requirements after that date has passed). Additionally, adding the ability to see ALL future practice dates in calendar format on that Team Page as well as be able to link said calendar to popular calendars such as Google Calendar, iCalendar, etc. would be most helpful. Lastly, while the App's description offers that one can text and email from within the App, that is NOT entirely true. The App merely serves as parent contact info database (which IS useful!) and mini message composer... you then complete the sending from whatever "normal" messaging or emailing App you use/whatever is already installed on your phone. BTW, be aware that the App's SMS composer will cap your recipients at ten even when you select more than ten (the App does NOT communicate or give feedback as to such a limit either... for example, they could do so with a callout/static text atop the recipient selection page and/or pop-up message when you select more than ten recipients). You'll just have to forward your text to the other remaining parents the App dropped from the recipient list. I am using the App on a Samsung Galaxy S9.

I enjoyed using this app. It had practices, game schedules, parents contact info., players names , helpful basketball videos and much more organized and quick access. One of the only issues I had with it was when I had to usually log in manually even though I already pressed the button to remember me so I didn't have to constantly log. in and sometimes it haves it doesn't show the game schedule or just freezes so I have to log back in. Overall it's a pretty reliable app. to use.

really great app! awsome tool for beginner coaches, and really allows you to devote more time to coaching and working with the athletes. things could only get better with this app. well done!

The substitution tool is good. What's been frustrating is that I've had it stop working or not save my roster edits multiple timea ina row and then I have to re-enter and edit all over again.

great app! The only problem is the remember me button for the password doesn't work and the skills and drills for the coaches are for older players. not practical for grades 3rd and below.

This app makes coaching a game much easier. It sets your lineup for you so you can be more focused on the game. It also puts all scheduling right in your hands. Love it!

Overall I think the app is good. For some reason it will not let me send a text to all the parents. Also, I can't find how to add parents or contacts for parents.

super Awesome, only problem is it will sometimes loose my data. I can usually close the app then log in again to fix it. only once did I need to uninstall reinstall.

Well thought out and designed. Very easy to use. Haven't needed anything from this app that was overlooked or poorly programmed.

My biggest complaint is that if you go back to many times it will log you out. It's also not intuitive on how to remove players from lineup who miss .

App will not let you stay logged in. Tried to use it 20 or more times, might have been able to log into the app maybe 5 times. Needs a serious overhaul

Very glitchy and unstable. Email and text links do not work or are broken in Android.

sometimes freezes, sometimes does not update info from ULM. It is very useful though!

it's very workable. I can't edit wrong email addresses. unless I just can't figure it out. other than that,good

3 weeks and ran great, today go into gameday. Nothing, did not let me log in. I have to scramble now to rebuild my info apparently.

The app is buggy. Practice pdfs won't load. You get logged off randomly, even though it's marked "remember me"

It works great.... when it works. Won't let me long in often. Won't remember my login. Won't remember my star distributions.

it doesnt keep me logged in like it should by hitting "remember me". also freezes and wont show everything randomly.

I have to reinstall anytime I want to use it. Edit: The app no longer requires reinstallation for use!

Will not login anymore through app. Logged me out and will not let me log back in. I even uninstalled the append reinstalled.

Doesn't login properly 90% of the time. Either freezes or doesn't respond.

Great layout, and exceptional learning capability from this app. Awesome.

Useful. But still logs me out too often. Not sure why it is necessary to be logged out frequently.

Good app. I'd like to know if you can add late players after taking them off your game day roster.
