They will sell you plus membership, you will go through grueling process of selecting one of the 'Available' service and viola! a message pops out citing "No professionals available in your area". Everyday they keep sending reminders to complete the booking to end up with same conclusion. Extremely frustrating. Waste of money, time and effort.
They charge twice for the service they provide even if you have already paid the professional. They deduct the fee again from the saved card without confirming. Then you have to run behind them for the refund which you will get but it is not easy process. The customer has to suffer for the company's misunderstanding and miscommunication.
Rubbish technicians. Everytime I get a technician do some repair work, am issue arises after the warranty period of 10 days. UC plus membership is a waste of money, top rated plus professional assigned who didn't arrive and is not reachable even by uc what a joke. My booked slot has passed and the assigned job has not started but uc doesn't bother to check if everything is ok, that's the level of service. AC professionals do pathetic work which looks fine when they do, issues arise later.
Horrible experience in my last 3 bookings. All three times the professional rescheduled without any intimation. The professional called first and asked if I can come early. Once I said know, he rescheduled it as per his convenience . The customer support is the worst. They have a template nd all that they do is follow it without using their head. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone
Very unprofessional. I made a booking for a Daily Chefs trail session. I asked my cook not to come that day. I was really looking forward to the trail session. But the chef never got assigned to my booking, which is supposed to happen 1 hour earlier to the booking time. I tried reaching out to urban company support many times but never connected. I paid for the service already and there are cancellation charges. I will not never use their services again, I will encourage people to do the same.
Bit expensive but still a good help as it's digitalising several services required by common households sitting at home and booking from their mobile app. One disappointing part is, very less offers, almost nil coupons, no aggressive membership discounts. User can't book multiple services in one go from different areas. Rating 4 star , 1 star off due to very less discounts, coupons, and high prices.
The pricing of urban company is not transparent. I have paid twice for the same service as their service engineer is not knowledgeable enough to finish the job in one go. I have to call and book again and again in the last two months I have paid twice for the same service which should have been done properly in the first time itself. I do not recommend their services at all. On complaining to their call centre they have no redressal.
Alternative number facilities to be inserted.. I was keeping inform from last 2 years. Due to that professional are unable to call and I also couldn't able to call professional. It's just mess up everything don't know when u people understand the priority. Also helpline number gives time call in 15 minutes but never gets call. Very very poor performance not at all happy with services
Worst customer service ever. You can't contact them if there is an issue. My professional declined my spa service and how can they so casually say they want to cancel the service or reschedule to a different time. If it's so difficult why do they even accept the service in first place. Please use other service providers. This is worst ever. They don't even refund money.
Update2: after 6 months to get 2 replicated emails. Pathetic Update: yet again after many calls and assurance that same mistakes wont happend, it happened again. It was great but recently its really bad and unprofessional, i have fixed booking with specific cleaners and they keep cancelling them last minute and it happened more than 5 to 6 times in the past 3 months with no proper explanation. what makes it worse is that the replacement they provide are not as good not even close.
Technicians are needs to be more genuine. Diagnosis is very good, service is also very good. But prices of the spare parts are high compare to outside shops and also technicians are not suggesting what if really needs to change that particular part or something related. If customer don't know the status of the part is that working good, and he wanted to change if that is not working, then technicians are not genuinely at time of the customer asks.
First time I tried was very good and then I bought a package. Since then they assign random professionals, reschedule service without checking, or do not show up after confirming the appointment same day. There is ZERO customer service. After raising multiple tickets, no one contacts you. Do not waste your time and money.
Everytime I book a service the old address gets picked up. The executive calls up and I have to manually give the address. I am unable to find a field in the app to send a note to UC company. Double checked my address but UC picks up my old address.
Very bad app and not user friendly. They are not professional and have lot of issues with service. They simply cheat by showing fancy ads and in reality you will never experience the service. Very bad service and I don't recommend this app at all. Please stay away from these type of cheap apps
Services are good but app is pathetic... When you choose hair service and want to add skin salon with it, u can't do it, it unsaves all ur cart itesms once u more to other section......I can't book skin and hair service together once.....tried for 10 times atleast..... Nowdays i feel Urban services level has gone down, whenever we book any appointment they call and ask for time to come late, if customer reschedule it you charge for it, and if your people reschedule it than give us some discount
After payment of annual maintenance fee for my water purifier, I could get two services. When the third service is due, I am not able to book it and on complaining, I am only getting phone calls to try various methods for resolving it but they are not able to rectify their system.
Had a very bad experience with uc... two times we rescheduled the painting and they came up with a different colour shades instead of the colours we selected...I will never recommend painting from this app...at last I have canceled the booking... not at all useful
There is no customer care contact details to get intouch and get more info on a certain service. For example termite control services are supposed to offer a warranty, but there is no info regarding this on the app and there is no way to contact these folks to get details. It is extremely annoying that apps like this and ola hide behind their apps and don't give proper contact details for customers to get in touch with them when needed.
The worst, unpredictable and undependable service provider. I had booked my slot for installing AC one week earlier and they simply called at the last minute before the scheduled time saying they do not have any technician and canceled my booking. BTW they make you pay the full fees at the time of booking itself. Then they simply cancel it at their convenience and they will not return your money even after one week. Am sure they are doing this to many customers!!! Disgusting!!!
Was good is bad. Not a single booking goes without any issue. Professionals cancel booking at the last moment just because they don't want to travel that far. In RO the fix inferior parts and charge you for original. When they don't know how to install a cupboard then the quote a price of 3000 to install a cupboard worth 13000.
Pathetic services with highly unprofessional folks... I had a dispute with one of such highly unprofessional beautician who was not ready to take any directions for the service that I was paying for. She wanted to do whatever she wants and leave. When prompted, she started shouting on top of her voice. So I was not comfortable taking the further service with her and reported the issue on the app. Such useless customer care service, they didn't even bother to address the issue.
I have not booked any AC repair service but my app is showing that I ve booked it. I have no clue what's happening. I checked app again just now there's another booking made . What the hell is happening?? I have availed services from urban company on several occasions but this is harrowing as it no longer safe for me to use it.
The services are absurd. I made a booking on Thursday evening for Sunday afternoon and yet no services received. As per the executive who kept calling me regarding this booking was asking me to reschedule it as there's no professional available and though there is one she is not available today. Seems really stupid on your end as why would you give someone the flexibility to choose their own time slot yet not deliver! Now the app shows that the cancellation was made on my end! Great!
Not good. I have selected the 3 hours of cleaning service every biweekly. Price appeared in the summary. AED 69 after all discounts. While paying, it shows an error with the message "please try or try again later". But same time booking has happened with the total price (AED 111) to pay without applying any discounts (surge/membership/repeating service/coupon code). I cannot do any subscriptions as well. The subscription page also does not show. Complaint already sent to all customer service.
Had an extremely bad experience with the service. After booking a classic home cleaning package, the service person came but denied to do the items included in the package - for instance, statements like only one side of the door/window is included in the classic package, the balcony grills will not be cleaned etc. - and was pushing us to take the premium packages. When we tried to raise this concern to the customer care, the response was that they can't handle the service partner related issue
The most unprofessional and useless service providers. Their so called partners (professionals who deliver your service) are extremely rude and can cancel or reschedule your appointment at their own whims and fancy. They won't even have the courtesy to inform you about the same. Don't bother downloading this app. There are many more options available.
