Terrible search, unless you specify the EXACT spelling it doesn't find the word, but learners may not have perfect spelling! Unable to search in Roman Urdu. Does not work offline, does not remember recent searches. Definitions themselves are good when you get to them, but overall the app is not built in the most user-friendly way. Recommended for the definitions, not recommended for user-experience.
Good effort. But it's not enough. Please add example sentences if you really want transformative change in Urdu, especially spoken discourse. If you ever do so, please đĨē don't forget to add pronunciation of examples sentences. Furthermore, you need to update software . Add feature like favourite lists and games. Also, make it available for offline users . Some would be evenwilling subscription charges if you are worried if financial constraints.
The best app, but many proverbs and phrases are missing, please add them too cz we have difficulty pronouncing Persian proverbs. And please make it available offline or at least give us the options to download offline dictionary database. And add the option to select and copy the text. Thank you.
Really great contribution. Articulation with correct pronunciation makes it more powerful and useful. It would be far better if an offline version with same features could be launched.
Although not available offline (which is a bad news for me), this is the only lughat on Play Store that I will highly recommend. I have tried all other lughaat having good ratings, but I did not find them reliable. The helpfulness of this app has no match so far, as of today (31 May 2020). I hope I am not exaggerating.
It never shows me any result... There is always a loading notification but I never find any result... I even tried to reach them via email... But they are not responding... I really wanted this app to work properly... đ
it is really good app but it should have 'suggestion,' options while searching words like google have when you type 2-3 keywords it gives suggestions which makes search more easier and fast.persian terms or words which are used in ghalib and iqbal poetry or words derived from petsian origin cant be found many times as this is official app it should be above average and close to perfection. plus idiomatic use of words in 'eham goi' was very common it should have included.upon request help is avai
This app doesn't deserve a single star ... It just like kept a prank application on Play Store ... Whenever i search something, it goes on searching and doesn't gives the result at all .... Very dissatisfied and disappointed đâšī¸ ... Needs to improve all these bugs and crashes ...
Not satisfied, I'm reading Urdu books and couldn't find most words, second it's an online dictionary, I thought it has been developed by Govt, it would be a great but it disappointed me. Improve it.
Great app and it's very helpful. Some more information like the origin of each words, meaning in English would be more helpful.
By far the most comprehensive urdu dictionary anywhere online. The pronunciation of words is a treat. The in-app "search" could be a bit flexible, though.
I use it to check the correct pronunciation of various words. These days people use such wrong pronunciation that one starts doubting one's own knowledge. It is a very useful tool for every Urdu speaking person. My sincere appreciation for this magnificent effort made by the Urdu Board.
It was a wonderfull experince using it Extremely great work May allah accept it Now im facing a problem using it The app opens but the searching round keeps moving when we type something to search ,it does not give me results reinstalled 2-3 times but same problem Plz try and solve the problem I am using samsung galaxy c7 pro May allah paak reward you
An extremely good lughat or dictionary which has the words with explanations. Would it had also the English meanings too with each word...!!! Thanks â¤ī¸
Good but needs to include suggestions especially if spelling is incorrect and should be able to select words from the explanations for translation.
Collection is amazing... but to be able to zoom in... too small to read without reading glasses

Amazing app. Honestly the best. Simple and easy. Probably very few words that I haven't been able to search on it.
Website is better than app. App is fast but not cover all things like word origins, examples, gender and so on.

It never shows results, it not working, why this app listed in google play store , why I rated a single star. Because there are not less than single star , it must struck of from Google Play Store

Add options for favourite words and history. It takes much time to load words.
Font size of this app is very small which in turn gives quite a strain on the eyes.
Wonderful work. However, there should also be online and offline dictionary.
It is a very good app, it is getting a lot of help but it would have been better if it worked with offline also.
Thank you very very very much for this app. It has nice proper Urdu font. And pronunciations are good. Whoever took initiative for this, you're an awesome person. Feature Requests / Improvements: 1. Copying text from the meanings. So if the meaning has another word I want to learn about, I can copy it from there. 2. I would love to be able to browse all the words, besides searching for them. If not that suggestions while I type so I can avoid mistakes.
