Urgent Call Lite
Once you install Urgent Call, feel free to put your phone into silent mode anytime. If the same person calls you 3 times within 15 minutes, your phone will ring on the third call, even if it’s in silent mode. Or, if someone sends you a text message with the keyword “Urgent!”, your phone will alarm you, even if it’s in silent mode. The app is very easy to customize. Feel free to change the keyword, or to change the number of calls or timespan required for you to get an alert. It’s easy!
Urgent Call Lite is free and ad-free, and always will be! It works out of the box and lets you customize your alerts and turn them off and on as necessary. Nobody should have to pay to know that their loved one's been in an emergency. If you find you'd like a little extra customization to make Urgent Call more useful to your lifestyle, you can always upgrade when need be.
Once you install Urgent Call, you will need to launch the app at least once in order for it to work. After launching it and agreeing to the terms and conditions, Urgent Call will remain active anytime you silence your phone. If you need to disable Urgent Call from letting anybody through, no matter how urgent, you can launch the app and turn the setting to “off” temporarily.

This app doesn't actually do what it claims on my phone. Instead of alerting me when I receive two calls in 5 minutes like it says it does, it merely starts playing the ringer full volume a minute or so after I miss any call. Even if it was the only call I've gotten all day. It's harder to silence than the ringer so worse than simply having the phone on loud all the time. I tried to get it to work for some time but no luck. Definitely Uninstaller.
I'm sad this app gives me SILENT notifications about urgent calls and texts :( I've been testing this app for an hour now with my fiancé's phone and no amount of keywords or calls within five minutes triggers any sound; just a silent notification. I really need this app to work, I can't imagine I'm the only user with an LG G3?

I installed this app. But I don't understand how it supposed to work. The free version does nothing, I would like to select my daughter's # for example in case but it is asking for upgrade when the free version does nothing? ??? Can anyone help, thank you.
Don't install! The app did not sound an alarm at all! The phone continued to vibrate. Why create this knowing you're not going to fix any of the issues!?

This app is perfect for what I want. I hate having my phone set to ring or vibrate, but I am paranoid that someone won't be able to reach me if it's urgent. It would have saved me an hour of standing outside an apartment building if more people had this app enabled!

Most of the day I will have my phone silenced during classes and other busy moments, but sometimes people absolutely need to reach me for necessary reasons. This app is great for those who are great about wanting to limit distractions from their phone, but can still be accessible for any reason.
This works well but the whole point of it is when u receive urgent calls so why don't you implement from 'everyone' in the pro version for single calls ??
This app is perfect! It's great for business meetings, family time, or when one needs to study, you can give your full concentration into something without being bothered. You also feel safe knowing those important in that situation can contact you. Great app!
I had it installed on all my roommate's phones. So if I ever get locked out or need their help at night they can help me.
Simple interface with just what I need. I like the easy to customize options of receiving text and call alerts and also the 'share' feature to inform contacts. Keeping this one!

Didn't work for me unfortunately. It just crashed when a call came through. I sent through a bug report so hopefully that will help the developers.
The only app that worked out of the 5 I tried...made sure I didnt miss my sister going into labor when my phone was on silent...thanks!
It does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well. It's extremely useful and it's the only app I've found so far that works so reliably. That's as good as it can get. 5 stars
