In today’s fast-paced and very connected world, sometimes it’s hard to get a little peace and quiet. Urgent Call is the solution! Urgent Call is the filter that lets you turn off the distractions and disturbances, but lets the most important calls or texts get through.
Once you install Urgent Call, feel free to put your phone into silent mode anytime. If the same person calls you 3 times within 15 minutes, your phone will ring on the third call, even if it’s in silent mode. Or, if someone sends you a text message with the keyword “Urgent!”, your phone will alarm you, even if it’s in silent mode. The app is very easy to customize. Feel free to change the keyword, or to change the number of calls or timespan required for you to get an alert. It’s easy!
Once you install Urgent Call, you will need to launch the app at least once in order for it to work. After launching it and agreeing to the terms and conditions, Urgent Call will remain active anytime you silence your phone. If you need to disable Urgent Call from letting anybody through, no matter how urgent, you can launch the app and turn the setting to “off” temporarily.

This app deserves to get a 5 straight up. It not only works great while not in use however, during emergencies this app performs very well. No problem downloading it, and program it to fit the way I want to use it took reading but very easy, and no problem stopping it. It works so well sometimes I forget to turn it off so I use the built in timer... Samsung Galaxy S5.
This app is a great addition to lollipop. It provides you the ability to let through repeated calls, a function not included with lollipop. The pro version allows you designate specific contacts to allow thru when received multiple times within the time period that you specify.
Would like to see the ability to block entire contact sources. I use my phone for work and personal calls. While on holidays it would be great if I could block all my work contacts
It has been hit or miss lately, many texts from contacts on my allowed list have not been allowed to alert me with the notification sound
Samsung note edge, now my boss won't be upset when I miss a text cause it's on silent.
If you have a job where you can't miss a page, this app is the best. You won't miss an important call or page again.
Paid for it, does not work (the phone remains muted) on HTC One M7 with Lollipop
The pro version did not work on my phone. I wish it would. The idea of this app reminds me "profile" in Symbian in the old Nokia phones. The function of this app has to be acquired by Android as embedded app to reduce complexity and conflicting between this app and Android sound setting.
DOES NOT WORK. Had an emergency yesterday and no one could contact me. Out $2. and faith in apps being helpful.

Silence for when you're doing something that can't be interrupted, but still available in case of an emergency!
Great way to be able to mute your phone and not miss calls.
It didn't do anything correctly and to top it off it didn't offer refund
I would like if you can add a feature where you can set it up so it is silent during works hours without having to manually do it every time.
