Urgent Care –24/7 Medical Help

Urgent Care by GreatCall – Nurses and Doctors on demand 24/7. FREE App!
A #1 medical app on Google Play and iTunes in 2013

Urgent Care lets you speak to a US based registered nurse who will triage your medical questions and if needed have a licensed physician call you back within 30 minutes.

The doctor may give assessments, medical advice or diagnose a wide range of conditions over the phone as well as prescribe common medications. Plus, Urgent Care features the award winning A.D.A.M. medical dictionary and medical encyclopedia as well as an interactive symptom checker for additional health information.

How can this be only $3.99 a call when other apps charge $40 or more? Other apps connect you instantly to a doctor for upwards of $40 a call, no matter if it’s medically necessary or not. Urgent Care however connects you first to a Registered Nurse who based on the symptoms can escalate your call to a Doctor or Pediatrician if needed for no extra charge – saving unnecessary calls and allowing us to pass the savings on to you.

What you get:
• Access to a live, registered nurse who can escalate to a board-certified doctor around the clock
• Doctor has ability to give assessments, advise or diagnose a wide range of conditions over the phone
• Pediatricians available if needed
• Doctors have ability to prescribe common medications
• Spanish translators available
• Interactive symptom checker
• Medical Dictionary and Medical Encyclopedia

paid my $3.99...call went through and was automatically put on hold. Sat on hold for almost 10 mins when a voice said a voicemail had not been setup for the number I called and then hung up. Basically they took my money for nothing.

They had so much great knowledge to help me with my illness and it was easier than trying a bunch of websites online. I didn't have to use the urgent call number because I got all I needed just from the information provided. This seems to be a great app and I have referred family and friends to try it.

So I called the number and got someone who was nice but had to have someone else call me back. When I got the call back, it was someone from a service called MD Live and they wanted to charge me $49.99 for a doctor consult. I guess I wasted my $3.99 and got nowhere. I will be emailing for a refund and you need to get your customer service reps trained better.

I absouletely enjoyed the experience of speaking with the RN her name was Allissa & she was extremely nice & didn't have a problem repeating herself & never once made me feel like I was asking a dumb question! All of my questions were answered thoroughly & I even learned quite a few natural remedies that she told me just because! Totally awesome experience! I will be using this app again if ever needed

They took my money and some information. I have not received a call back from the second person . It's been over an hour. Not happy . I now have to go to work and will have to go to the Dr. office any way . After suffering needlessly. Should have just gone earlier.

They're very unorganized. Called for antibiotics. Receptionist(?) did not know how to transfer the call. Different lady called us back charging a 49.99 fee and then trying to get health insurance info from me. My employer was not listed. Static on the line the whole time. Did not work well for me. Going to the local urgent care in the morning.

Absolutely worked. As other reviewers said when they needed me to get a doctor (I wanted a prescription filled for barf medicine and I'd been barfing all day) they asked me to pay. I had them check again and they said "sorry for the confusion you are right". Doctor got in touch filled my scrip and saved my life since I was able to care for my toddler tonight. Thank you to this app thank you to the doctors. I truly hope you stay in business even with such an affordable model.

Very helpful, polite, prompt, and informative. I was connected immediately with Andrea, and very satisfied with her customer service. I was also contacted within the hour by the doctor and had my prescription called in within minutes. I saved myself at least $40 using this service and saved myself from having to lose time at work. Thank you! I will definitely use this service again.

I was on the phone for 25 mins, talked and explained to 4 different people what was going on, to be told that I would still have to pay 50 on top of the 4 I had already paid, even if the Dr chose not to write a script for my daughters ear infection, I didn't want to chance wasting that much money, so I hung up, and did Dr on Demand... 40 bucks, talk only to the Dr. Just easier.

Update. I am a RN. The RN on the phone who spoke on the phone was RUDE. She had no clue what she was talking about. I got charged twice for the call after it dropped it. Used to be good. Now bad.
