I can't give it 5 because of certain technical issues with the app. It works and i get to see the battles, but sometimes the app crashes without warning or the video is choppy. It takes a while to load at times..... But other then that, I'm fine. I really do wish it was more like youtube which allows for you to exit out of the app and have the video minimized while playing in a small window while you do other things like texting, etc...

This app is bad. Really bad. I can't do anything. I can't watch any battles, just promos. What the purpose of watching a promo if I can't watch the battle when it happens? I thought it was a paid app, yet I see nothing that gives an option to pay. If I hit the back button, it crashes. If I reopen it, it gets stuck on the URL screen. I tried to download it on my roku stick and it had me pull up a link on the web so I can put in a code. Only when you go to the link, it doesn't give you an option.

I think they do a bad job of protecting your credit card info. I have an extra card that I only use to pay the subscription for this app and it's had fraudulent charges twice. I really don't trust them with my data. The app itself is alright. Glitchy at times and I could never get it to cast but I was usually able to watch the battles. Anyway I had to get a new card because of this app. If it happens again I'm canceling my subscription

For the first month or so I didn't have any issues with the app - and while the UI coulf use some work, the functionality was there and there was some innovative ideas in regards to the fan interaction. Fast forward to recently where, despite my subscription, I'm unable to access any of the premium content. Hopefully there can be some resolution to this as I'd like to continue supporting the URL this way. (Update) -- Some of the issues were ironed out.

This app is super choppy on my phone since day 1 of launch. At times it's like I'm watching a slide show instead of a video. It's a real shame because the video quality is amazing. Constant crashes along with choppy viewing makes this app horrible. If this was fixed it would be 5 stars. I still subscribe because I love battle rap but every time I'm watching with a bad experience I'm at the brink of canceling my subscription. It's not a Wi-Fi or network connection problem either, it's the app.

Lists all the battles and looks good doing it. Unfortunately, it only plays the promo video. Says it has Chromecast support, but it's not detecting my new and fully functional one. Real shame. There are a lot of app exclusive battles that won't play. The playlist can be a bit wonky too, adding promos instead of the selected battles to the playlist. This app really needs some fixing.

It's fine for battles but there are a few technical issues. The search bar doesn't work, so you have to scroll through the battles/artists until you find what you're looking for. If you're watching a battle and lock your phone, the audio stops. No listening on the go. You can only stream to google chromecast - firestick does not work. When watching a video, the scroll bar is extremely tiny, making it difficult to fast forward to specific moments in a battle. Small problems but very annoying.

The app is glitchy. 1. When you press back, it closes the app entirely. 2. There are no instructions to "pick a casting device." 3. It doesn't save your votes on a battle's scorecard so everytime you enter the app, it's like you've never watched the battle before. 4. The 🔎 doesn't work. You type in an artist and nothing populates. 5. You can't edit your profile, only picture. 6. There is no "app settings" menu, help desk or contact us page. I would've liked more "premium" content with top mcs.

This app needs a UI overhaul. Bad enough users have to go to a browser to sign up rather than in the app. My biggest issues are the UI and casting. Skipping through rounds should skip to the next battler not the whole round in my opinion, scrubbing through the footage is a chore, there isn't a fullscreen button 🤦🏾‍♂️, pressing your phone's native back button will close the app and casting has not worked for me ever. Cast button should be everywhere as well. People pay for this app. Fix it!

Starting off, I had some confusion giving payment but once I did, I got immediate premium access. I would like to see this option under My Account also (in the future). This app is ❄❄❄☃️☃️. I like the fact that I can skip the intros and get straight to the rounds. I also like being able to skip to whatever round I want. The video quality is crispy and clean. And the presentation is second to none. I haven't got into the voting mechanism but it looks promising.

Any of the content I click on only plays the 1 minute and 37 second URL Ad, and then stops. The battles never actually play, and overall the UI is a little difficult to navigate. Hitting the back arrow a few times will cause the app to close, and the screen remains black upon restarting. I have to force close it to get it to cooperate. My experience was on a Galaxy Note 9.

I've had the app for a few months and it worked without issue, recently I received an email saying my payment was declined. I did like most do at that point, checked my account and saw that I had more than enough to cover $7.99 and there was no history of URL even attempting to take $7.99. I tried to pay directly several times before switching to another card but each time it does the same thing. My cards work everywhere else. I want to support but the bugs on y'all end won't allow me to

I like it but can't give it a 5 because it can be glitchy and tempermental and its upsetting when you watch a battle it freezes and your reactions get reset. Also it would be great if you could exit out of a battle and it saves your spot so you dont have to start it over again. Other than that its pretty good.

I was really looking forward to this app. There appear to be a few problems with it. First, it's insanely unclear about to even subscribe. Instead of saying "access denied" on premium videos why not at least point the user to where to go to subscribe? It took me awhile to even figure out there was an additional website I had to visit first. Second, I've tried subscribing 3 times and it still hasn't worked, not with PayPal or a credit card. No confirmation email, no rejection email... Nothing.

EDITING AFTER RECENT UPDATE The "download to watch offline" is a greatly appreciated feature! Thank you for that! However, it would be nice if it actually worked more than twice! It let me download and watch danny vs mike and the part 2 sit down of k shine. But after that it won't download anything else. Anything i try to download will get somewhere between 24% and 48% then cancel itself or go back to 1% and stay there. Regular viewing still freezes (video not audio) but hasn't crashed yet.

Trying to use the app on xbox.. Prompt on the screen says log in, but it redirects to the website... I log in, I thought, it redirects me to my email which I never received. App works pretty decent on my phone but I'm not paying every month to watch on my phone. Log in screen should have the ability to log in, not a bunch of redirection. I been trying to watch a battle for over an hour. Process needs to be simplified drastically.

The app is good as it has old battles and new. It is in need of organization help though. For example, when I search for "Tay Roc" there are 3 other people that pop up before I get to him. Also I wish the battles and Collections were chronologically ordered as if I was a new fan of a battler, it would be easy to see their growth. Smack need to spend just a tad bit more and this will be a 5 star app lol.

The app serves its purpose but there are a some bugs. If you search a specific artist (ex. daylyt) then press the back button the app crashes instead of returning to the previous screen (home). There is no alert letting a user know they need to purchase a subscription in order to watch the videos. It might be better if you put the commercial video on the home page and put a toast message on the battles about the subscription. What language is this app written in??

I really really think the video player can be made a little better by making it easier to rewind and forward and also add a rewind 10 seconds/forward 10 seconds double tap feature like youtube and many other mobile players. I def think this app is done well, and the price is pretty fair. the scorecard feature is really cool.

I like the app but I have a few small gripes. 1st the time bar on screen is way to low I can barely use it to go back & forth in time. 2nd I wish we could tap the screen and skip back and forth 10sec like YouTube. 3rd I dont like the voting system. I wish we could vote for who won the battle in the description where the reaction counter is, or it was similar to how YouTube annotations work and it will pop up in the top right corner after both rappers spit their round

Battles take months to drop after the events. Events streams are ALWAYS messing up and lagging. Never a replay after. Worst matchups are added to the app first. And NOW URL events are having crowds and it literally ruined a main event. URL has fallen off. Can't copy respect, but you sure can lose it fast. Never again.

I downloaded the app and all I see it a 1:37 url tv ad, no matter what battle I click on. I uninstalled the app several times only to be given the same thing an ad for every video. I watch the ad and the video stops I press on another video new or old battle I search for a battle and press from there and still the url app showing it can do Chromecast and it's on Xbox and apple tv etc. Please help/fix

EXCEPTIONAL App, They Have Managed to Drop content, timely. The overall user interface is very easy to navigate, and the price is cheap in comparison to what we used to pay for battles "back in the day"🤣. SERIOUSLY Tho! They've amassed a Huge collection of battles in such a short time. ALL THAT NERDS TO BE WORKED ON ASAP... Is the connectivity issues/capabilities, when it comes to getting the big screen feel, it's a headache at times. Would be great if we could have this 4 all platforms 😩

Yeah this app is terrible. Can't watch anything. Just the url app promo clip on repeat. Smh. Was hoping to actually use this app on a regular basis. Guess I'll watch King of the Dot on YouTube instead since they actually put all their videos up on there. Smh. You have exclusive videos only for an app that doesn't work so you can't even watch the videos there. Makes no sense lol like what...

For Canadian users, it is not worth the $100+/yr CAD as rarely original content as most drops can be watched for free on Caffeine app. Sometimes battles drop from several months prior, long after hype has passed. App itself is a glitchy mess at times; fast forward to different rounds never works properly, hard to rewind to bars you want to hear, poor layout, search engine is terrible. Overall the app should have progressed much farther by now considering the cost. Cancelled subscription

Was a 5/5, but all of a sudden it only plays a promo video for any battle. It wont let me watch anything anymore. I'm a subscribed premium member who pays every month but the app doesn't let me watch battles anymore. I'd like some help with that because I loved the app and would like to give it the 5 stars it deserves, but it cut me off out of nowhere.

Please make this app better. I clicked back to reset my screen after watching a 50 minute battle, left the entire app, came back and all my Don Demarcos were reset, ugh. Can control the rewind and fast forward in any fine detail, which is kind of cool but ugh. Good battles, I like supporting financially so I'm willing to pay but please just make the app a little better.

Pretty solid app, however, I'm writing this review for improvement purposes. The app is very choppy in terms of lag when playing videos and eventually ends up crashing. It may be due to the constant refreshing of live comments, in which case there should be a toggle to turn live comments on and off.
