Excellent resource for all HAM operators, regardless of the license class. This app just shows what one might accomplish whenever there is true, honest passion for a particular subject or hobby, or perhaps even a vocation, and that is NOT, nor will it EVER BE, something that can be taught, let alone ever learned via a school curriculum, or an instructor/student dynamic, no matter the subject. So my hat is off to you, Mr. Kimbrel, for your time & effort.
I have to admit that when this app popped up in the Play Store I questioned how useful it would be. But I figured what the heck and downloaded it anyway. I have used this app many times since then! It is VERY useful, well implemented, and well thought out. Many thanks for this app, and all US Hams should get this one.
Awesome Reference I really like that it has a color blind option. I'm red-green color blind, and I hate charts with color variance. Sweet stuff here.
just outstading. borrows things like the colours from the familiar ARRL chart, but also provides relevant Part 97 details when you tap on the band. allows you to select your class then shows you your allowed frequencies, or shows everything, your choice.
Simple and effective reference for what frequencies you can use as a ham. In addition, I like the quick references for FRS, GMRS, Marine, MURS, etc. frequencies if you want to do some listening outside the ham bands.
I like the separation of tech, general a and advanced bands. It makes it easier to understanding.
This app is useful for a quick lookup of the amateur frequencies. It also has a nice call sign lookup feature!
Great app... but could stand updating on the individual band plan pages... so far, no FT8 or other newer modes shown.
Easy to use, easy to understand. As a new ham operator, I appreciate having this quick reference.
I have tried to contact the app creator NUMEROUS times with NO response!!! Questioned how often Callsign information is updated, NO REPLY!!! Other than that it's a decent app.
Very handy app. Great options to display single license level or all.
Great if it's accurate. I've almost never known what my license allows in the 30 years I've had it.
I don't have one of these ham tickets...or whatever there called but me talks on the ham channels just the same.me just makes up my call sign handle and town me in. This app shows me where me can find folks to take with
Convenient, fast, well-organized. No "Internet required" nonsense; works fine offline.
Ham Bands is a quick and easy app that helps keep you on frequency.
Good App; but... I can't found in iOS to get on my phone; only on my tablet 😐
Great user friendly app. It's up to date. Thanks, Gary
Really appreciate the information it provides, well done 👍
Handy to see your bands your allowed in for the new to ham radio
Great app. Good reference for those of us with crs.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Good app, but tech needs to be updated
Simple and easy to use
Good app Hope seeing at iOs soon because I use iOs and not android.
Simple and easy to use
Good but has ads
Useful for reference especially for new and beginner hams
A really "must have" app for any class ticket holder, very...very useful. Each band has restrictions...and its nice to know what and where they are, just tap the band you wish to operate on and window opens up below with the important info pertaining to each band. Can't be anything more simpler. Rick, KD9QDP.
