A step in the right direction, and props to the team for charting the course forward in the mobile territory. However, the app isn't nearly as revolutionary as the AF is making it out to be. It doesn't provide any truly useful functionality aside from maybe the PT calculator. Everything else is simply a collection of links/content that can be obtained just as quickly via Google. Take out all the filler content/propaganda and replace it with actual tools, unique content, and CAC functionality.

it has convenient practical uses but there's a lot of bugs to fix at least from my experience with it. I have an android and the bugs I've seen were: unable to view my email when I open it, when I tap the drop down to see past LES statements it would crash 100%, and there's no official/secure way to view the printer friendly version of the LES on the app since any type of document viewer will say it has no permission to view it. and that's all I've done with it so far.

Was asked to download this app to see an important message regarding covid-19. I played along, only to download an app that continuously crashes with every navigating click. I still have no idea where to go to see this "important message" because the app has crashed every single time. Until this issue is resolved, please find a better way to disseminate information.

Very easy and didn't require access to my phone or location status. Seems to have a lot of info. Only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because once I loaded the base I was interested in the app didn't do anything. It's not necessarily intuitive that you're just supposed to stop and manually go back to the previous screen.

Excited to start using this app. Our Wing hasn't fully pushed it out yet but it seems to work ao far. Only complaint so far is: I can put it on my phone but not on my Android Tablet. The app doesn't show up at all on Play Store on tablet devices. Our iOS users report that it scales horribly on iOS tablets so perhaps the devs just need to work on their UI design to make it adapt to screen sizes (shame on you, devs, that's UI Design 101 stuff!)

The app is a little bit of an eyesore, clumsy to use, and navigating through the app isn't intuitive. This app would benefit from stripping down the animated elements and overall reorganization.

When email applications didn't work on Android devices, we were told to wait for SubRosa 5.0 to fix all the issues. Now that has rolled out, and I cannot connect to email, finance, or any of the other CAC enabled services. SubRosa is reading my device, showing all certificates available but the USAF Connect app won't even load the pages that would normally read these certificates.

It's a good idea but the navigation is not. A lot of notifications refer to an "announcements page" or a "Covid-19 tab," neither of which I can find, so I can't access the information.

The old ramstein specific app was better. The directory on this one is only half as complete as the old app, and the numbers arent even correct or dont connect. I googled the phone numbers I needed and got connectes. For being the cyber branch the air force sucks at making anything technological.

This app is utterly pointless. I can't even tell what it hopes to achieve for airmen from a practical standpoint. The only semiuseful feature is the PT calculator, but that is available elsewhere.

When will CAC features be out of Beta? Since the great push towards telework for (nearly) all, we should have figured this stuff out better by now. Even with the reader dongle, the CAC enabled sites only function 30% of the time. If you want everyone to use this app as a central comm hub from local bases, make the CAC features easier and more reliable.

Disappointed in the USAF Connect app requiring a third party CAC Reader program that forces you to either pay for a $100 "Pro" app with a 2.4 rating or purchase their "bundled CAC Reader" for a $130+. I just want to be able to check my email on the go or pull up mil websites without having to drop a benjamin to do it. Edit - By the way, the Navy Reserve App, R2S, has the same company Thursby build the CAC Reader built into a FREE app and I could connect to it with no additional purchase.

Failure in enterprise architecture on full display here--classic AF. Futile endevour directing people to $99.99 middleware solution for CAC-enabled sites (this app and sub rosa pro are currently unreliable trash)...why not embed middleware solution w/this app and skip an unruly variable. I know these efforts need to start somewhere so hopeful it will improve to a useable and realible state, best of luck!

I've never felt compelled to provide a review before...while the app is moderately useful- a "quicker than Google for general USAF information." The CAC functionality sells it. However, that is locked behind a $99+ pay-wall. $99 for Sub Rosa Pro (reduce to $9.99 maybe?) and $25 for a CAC reader or $135 for a "bundled" solution. Way to go Air Force... almost made something useful. Also, there are a few instances of "CAC card" in the app. CAC stands for Common Access CARD. Proofreading is needed.

Don't waist your time, the only reason to download this app is to gain access to email and CAC restricted websites. To use any of those features you need to fork out 100+ dollars. Seriously 100 dollars for an app! I can use web mail, DTS etc on my Chromebook for free (well cost of a CAC reader). The fact that the AF put there name on this boggles my mind.............. Well it should boggle my mind, however in recent years it seems we have gotten dumber and dumber as an institution.

Excellent app with great information. Some bases have more/better information than others. If your base doesn't have the info you need like another base does, fi d the local contact number on the app anf contact that person abouy getting thr info added.

Great idea and I hope to see it developed further. Certain group pages need to be updated better and more efficiently as to not spread false information on hours of operation.

Marginally ok, the app has a lot of useful information on it but the fact it is labeled to make an Airmen think they can use cac enabled features but then forces an Airmen to purchase a 3rd party app for $99 to use those features is just ridiculous

This needs to be updated with the new PFT scores. The Apple version is updated, but they forgot about Android

Horrible. Why would you disable the CAC reader function. Literally the only reason to use this broken app, and it no longer works. Now that $100 subscription you forced us to use has gone to waste.

A. G. u. Mar 16, 2020

It's not bad. Collects a lot of good information in one place. It is disappointing that USAF can't implement their own middle ware for CAC though. $100 for Sub Rosa is beyond price gouging when Win10 can handle it for free.

Classic military project, barely works while being covered with a bunch of useless garbage you will never care about. But don't worry, you can leave feedback, except you're forced to put your name on said feedback.

This app is garbage. Trying to report a lodging issue is a nightmare(errors for days). The only reason I'm even bothering to rate this app is in hopes that someone will contact me so I can get my rooms AC fixed. P.S. if I could rate it any lower I would. Sincerely, Tryingtosleep Inasauna.

A. G. u. Apr 3, 2020

Android app needs to mirror iOS app. It was annoying that this was not the case before the telework revolution, but it is devastating if vital base information is only available to maybe half the population.

황지안. May 23, 2020

I do not get a certificate prompt when trying to access any CAC enabled website. I have Sub Rosa Pro and certificates are loaded. For Example, I click login on AF Portal but nothing happens at all. How do I fix this?

A. G. u. Jan 18, 2019

so i downloaded the sub rosa app as stated in the help column as i have the thursby resder. but every linkninclicknon it loads the inital screen butnthen when ingo tonlog into that page, aka arrows, my imr, email etc. It says it can't load the page. rather pointless feature if it doesnt let you log in

A. G. u. Apr 18, 2019

Generic, it assembles some information easier but google is can still provide better searching. The cost of the CAC use for the app is too steep. The reliance on an app I've never heard of for security and CAC usage seems weird.

A. G. u. Apr 24, 2020

It was working for about 2 weeks, but now it's just keep on crashing. It's just a shell now. If you try to access your group it crashes.

Doesn't even have half the stuff of the apple version. I can even view the shuttle schedules...
