This app is not only about the raw data. Even though we might be aware of the excessive amount of time in front of our smartphones, sometimes we need a bit of control. UsageSafe got you covered. With the app blocker functionality, you can specify limits for each app independently, so that when you exceed that limit, you won't be able to open it for the rest of the day. But don't even think about cheating. It might seem easy at first to just quickly adjust the limit after overusing specific app and mindlessly continue
with your session, but there is one obstacle. Whenever you want to delete or update a limit, you have to wait 15 seconds, which doesn't seem like a lot but it can successfully discourage you from doing that.
Besides standard app limits, there is a special Focus Mode. It allows you to block specific apps that you find the most distracting or you spend the most time within. You simply select those distracting apps, turn on the mode, and all of those apps won't be available for you unless you turn it off again.
UsageSafe gives you the functionality of a Digital Wellbeing app and much more, but to a wider variety of phones. Some data enthusiasts will appreciate the ability to export your usage data to a CSV file for further manipulation and querying.
Your usage data is private and it will always be. It doesn't leave your phone nor it is used in any other way. Upon installing, you will already have a week of historical usage data at your disposal!

This app is incredible, the design is lovely and functions are great. I don't often leave reviews on app but after having this for almost a week I feel like it is really beneficial if you are trying to cut down the amount of time you're spending on your phone. Thankyou to the developer!
Edit: dev response was super fast and sorted the issue around the app not blocking the oher apps asap. Works and useful to be able to set time limit for games per day, and it blocks tye app whfn you reach the limit. Nice idea and interface, interesting to see how addicted to the phone i am but not what i was looking for.
It's happened a few times now where after a few days of having the app, it stops timing my apps out after I've reached the limit... It works once I delete and reinstall it but it's strange to have to do this so frequently! Is there any way to overcome this because I find the app very helpful?
UsageSafe is not blocking my apps despite the time limit being exceeded. Even tried the focus mode - it's not working. It worked well yesterday, but not sure what happened now. Please help!
Cool UI, fast (really fast), lightweight, and smooth. Perhaps devs can consider adding phone usage limit for a certain hour, and app usage limit for a certain time range of the day? Thanks!
Great app. Needs to have notification widget with usage time, lock counts and notifications. Also needs white list for apps not to be monitored. Other than that, great app.
It used to actually block the use of the apps you hit your limits on, but that stopped working, which makes the app basically useless for me. Until you changed that, it was the best "phone usage" app I had, I hope you fix that
Gorgeous app, and works very well so far. My one wish was the ability to find my least used apps/least opened apps of all time. Would help with uninstalling apps I don't need anymore.
I installed with a smile because of the 5 star reviews, only to realise that it crashes immediately after opening. Not sure what the problem is but I will try provide details if the Dev wants to, I wish to use this app :) will then change my rating.
It is not working well in Redmi Note7 pro. After reaching the daily limits apps are still open and working. It is not able to prevent me from using them after the daily limit is reached. Othrrwise it is one of the best app for students.
That's what I did but it just doesn't come on no matter how many times I try.. I'm starting to think it's my phone not an issue with the app. I appreciate the concern showed.
Just what I was looking for... The best app, minimalist design, no fuss... Gets the job done!
Works like it should, but you can only set app limits, while all I was looking for was an overall phonelimit.
It's not what it primarily claims to be - it doesn't block apps (the focus mode doesn't work)
This app is great for blocking apps and trying to stay focused!! I really got off my phone addiction.
Why does the mode only work for 5mins? After that it allows full access to restricted apps. Disappointing and useless

problem update: so it was phone messing itself up & not the app!
Great functionality and looks
Along the top of your phone it will keep an accurate time log, but it doesn't update in the app very often. So you'll open the app to see what you've been using and it will show incorrect times most of the time. I have no idea why sometimes it updates and other times it does. Short version the app does not update everytime you open the app like it is supposed to.
