USB Camera Standard

Great for a free app. Worked well on my Samsung S7. Five stars for value and function. Only knock would be that it is a little finicky getting the camera to connect. I had to consistently go to the drop down and select sd or hd to get the camera to come up on the app. Once it was running no issues. Took a bunch of videos inspecting inside drain lines. Very happy with this app

This app works, that's a plus. There are no ads, that's a big plus. The interface is very basic. The button to take a photo is placed very inconveniently. Pairing to the camera doesn't work. I have to open the app manually and give it permission to use the camera every time. MScopes worked better for me.

This is the only app that recognized my endoscope. Great and has options for parameters personalisation. I had to select the option "go to HD" to get it working. The bad side is that only works for about 20 seconds. I have to navigate more through the options.

FINALLY, an app that can view the cheap endoscope camera I bought off Wish that doesn't require any permissions. It asks for file and microphone access but still works if you deny them. I did have a black screen at first but once I switched to HD the camera loaded right up. Working on a Pixel 3 XL running Android 10 as of December 31 2019.

bought it, installed it, failed, uninstalled it. well, that went quick.. :) connected the usb camera to the phone (S6 edge+) through the otg cable, screen remained pitch black with a message about how it cannot find any webcam. a hint? otg view works pretty fine tho', i was just looking for an alternative that would allow me to control exposure and frame size (480p with gain set to the max doesn't look so great..)

This is the only app I found that could actually find the USB web cam I attached via a hub. If it could make the camera available to other apps on the phone, perhaps replacing from or rear camera it would be amazing.

I downloaded this app a few days ago and really liked it. But now it's being super flakey. Any idea what my issue could be? I added a star to my review because I think my issue was a hardware issue. I'd really like it if this app could save the photos directly to my gallery. It's quite a process to transfer photos.

A very good app with a clear focussed display. Have tested it with a usb webcam and an Easycap adapter to connect to the AV output of a camera and both work well. It needs the input connected to the tablet before opening the app to work properly.

Great app!! I was actually able to use it and there were no ads preventing me from using it. So happy I found it. I almost gave up because all the other apps I downloaded I couldn't use because the ads wouldn't let me. This one is totally different.

Very simple and most importantly no adds! Have to make sure your camera is plugged in before you open the app. Has full screen mode and can record videos and take stills.

Very good on an Google Pixl 3a. Lets me use my endoscope with my cellphone for ultimate portability. I can use my scope as a surface (skin) microscope. Full customizable video parameters. Would like to be able to set the app as a default app which is not yet supported.

Finally! I can take pictures and record with sound. I tried other apps and they either don't have video or there will be no sound. I use this on my powkiddy x18 an android/retro gaming console with no integrated camera. That's why i tried using a usb webcam if it can work. One thing though, why i can't save on my microsd card? I'm actually surprised there's no ads or purchased. What's the catch? lol. In any case, tq! 5 stars from me!

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! Connected my Logitech C270 but only got a black screen. Webcam LED glows but there is no image. Tried ALL combinations of settings, gave full access and permissions, reset app many times... but still nothing. Uninstalled.

So this app was great until Android 9 came out. They pulled support for USB OTG Cameras that have H.264 encoding by the looks of it. It won't detect all UVC cameras as it did before unfortunately. I'll change the review if they update the software.

This app is quite basic and could use a few usability improvements, but it works well. I tried two different UVC webcams and both worked without any issues. I was able to stream to VLC on my laptop using RTSP.

Must have all permissions for app to work. Install, give permissions, force stop, then restart app. This app has no ads and seems fairly straightforward. Free = update when feel like it (i wouldn't expect a dev to update an app with this many 1-star reviews from ppl who couldn't get it to work.

Works perfectly on my Gpixel 😃👌 my boroscope that I use for work is a "wifi" camera but the module failed. I found a good micro-usb to usbC adapter for just the camera and I am over the moon with this app i do use screen record to record video but that's just me 👍👍👍

Worked once and then never again on my Realme 6 phone, which is what I want to use. Says it can't find my UVC device any more. Works well on my Samsung Tab A and looks very useful but I really need it for my phone.

Good news: it managed to connect to my microscope and take photos. Bad news: very basic controls, I could only take low res photos (640x480)

This app just gives black display with my USB cam (microscope). Similar apps also give black screen with 640x480 setting but work when I select lower resolutions. I believe this app would work too if it had a resolution setting like the others.
