Doesn't support Android 10. I get a message "This app was built for and earlier version of Android, and may net work properly."
All i get from the 'fix' button is a cryptic "failure to parse output of mount command." I don't trust the app's reporting that host mode is unsupported either as host mode iscworking fine. Nexus 5x.
Is not updated to support the latest Android
Keep getting error "Failed to parse output of mount command"
"Failed to parse output command"
Couldn't get proper USB audio output from my HTC One max to the Sony MDR-1ADAC Hi-Res headphones. Luckily, my device is rooted so I was able to apply the fix. It now sounds amazing! Thank you so much for this great utility.
It helped a lot when doing some tests with different devices. But, i tested with Xperia M dual and the USB host is not enabled. So i rooted my device and tried using the app fix option, but with no success. Now, the fix button is disabled and "A fix attempet can not be performed because of errors" Any ideia on how to proceed ?
Samsung Tab S2 running Lollipop. App failed. Tried "Fix". Error message: Could Not Start SU Process. Uninstall
It say Android usb host is not readable .. ( something like that )
Works like a charm. Just a click on Fix and you are done. Now, I can see my 500GB HDD connected to my MK802IV and enjoying the content on my TV. Root required of course!! And my Device is with a custom ROM so ignore the Nexus 7 thingy
I've finally fixed my OTG problem..this app deserves a million stars
Messed up my home key, the only thing it does now is selecting the first icon. Got 1 green and 1 red after fixing. Already tried deleting the permission files with no success.
I downloaded this app in my phone. But i cant fix the issues the error is the su process cant .. kindly help me to connect flashdrive to my phone through OTG
Doesn't work on my hudl 2. When attempting to fix it just gives the 'unable o start su process' message.
Starts up immediately, no splash screen, just right to business. Told me my ZTE Z730 Concord II was indeed a $20 phone, confirming my poorness.
Easy to use and worked. Got back functions which manufacturer denied us. Looking for this for a While. Need to fix twice before enabled.
I won't root my Nexus because I need the security. This detected it might be fixed, but being uprooted, "su" did not work. This did it's job as well as possible. Be aware that some competitors to this want too much access.
My Nook HD + with Cyanogenmod 10.1 was not recognizing anything I plugged into it. This app fixed it with one tap of a button. Excellent work.
worked a treat for me, on a rooted nexus 7 2013 model, initially wast usb host enabled but the software fixed it :) thumbs up
"Fix" button does nothing just freezes my samsung device
... but not working. Must apply the "fix" twice and the app says my rooted Huawei G730 device has support now, great; however, it still can't read usb's. "Something" has changed indeed, since other usb check apps confirm the "fix" now. But no usb read actually. Funny thing is that, just to compare, I've installed this very same app on my rooted Moto G2, which has unarguable OTG capability and "USB Host Check" says it doesn't. So... what's going on here?
Great app. Sad many Android phones block this awesome, useful, feature.
Fixed missing xml files and made my Galaxy's built-in USB-OTG function. The ONLY APP THAT WORKS! Sorry Stickmount etc.. no need for them. Even the MassStorage for Samsung apk didn't work. This and "persist.sys.usb.config=mass_storage" to my "build.prop" Made flash/Thumb drives usable even with the crappy MyFiles even after un-rooting.. Developer Rocks!!! Small and simple fix. THANK YOU!!!
Won't do anything on Android Mini PC.
Superb, brilliant one out there.it works great with my phone(htc one s)
Clicked fix but it still wont work it just says not readable
i am starting to download, but i think this is great apps, anyone can tell me? is this app work on samsung galaxy core prime non root?
The fix feature does not work
Its saying couldn't start su
Fails on Samsung J5 Pro. I'm glad that I didn't trust this app; OTG works fine on this phone, without root. Shows three crosses, but the first two files do exist, on unexpected paths perhaps? Here files are: $ find / -name "*usb.host.xml" -o -name "*core_hardware.xml" 2>/dev/null /system/etc/permissions/handheld_core_hardware.xml /system/vendor/etc/permissions/android.hardware.usb.host.xml /system/vendor/etc/permissions/handheld_core_hardware.xml Hope that helps.
