USCCA Concealed Carry App: CCW, Guns, Self-Defense

Both apps from USCCA are having serious bugs, freezing on login or opening screens. Deleting and re-downloading has made no difference. I would have sought help through some kind of customer service or "help" on the apps, but, of course, since neither app works at all that is impossible.

CCM won't open in app. Just get blank screens for the magazine. Using Galaxy 21. Tried unistalling and reinstalling. Same issue. Worked until most recent CCM came out. Tried deleting cache and data and relogging in. No change. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue. When I click the CCM a blank window opens with "tap here to open magazine". When tapped. Blank screen opens and magazine doesn't load. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same issue. Won't open CCM.

I too like everyone else here cannot get the app to reload on my s20. I have deleted both the app and the Google play store. I have rebooted the phone, nothing seems to work. This was a valuable app. Now most of us can't see or use it. Somebody please help?

App sucks. I open the app and click on account and the app crashes. If it doesn't crash then it asks me to log in. Why are there no biometric logins? Do you really think that after a shooting I want to deal with looking for a password? I don't know what the hell you people are doing over there at USCCA but you app is worse than it was before and why should I have to download another app to find state reciprocity. You seriously can't have that built it to one app? As a Elite member I am pissed.

Had issues with app locking up & closing upon sign in. Phone is up to date. Uninstalled app. Rebooted phone. Re-installed app. Same issue. Opens, but if I hit any article or attempt to sign in, it closes. Uninstalled for good. Bye.

Downloaded the app to use the reciprocity map since you can't use it on the USCCA app any more. Useless. If you don't select a permit, no information comes up. You were able to look up gun laws without selecting a permit before. This has me rethinking my Platinum Subscription. Fix it or I'll take my business elsewhere.

I'm an elite member as well and I travel quite a bit for work. The app wouldn't update so I tried the recommended troubleshooting to re-install the app, now I can't. I'm using a Pixel 5 if that helps anyone. Hoping that they fix this app as I used it almost daily. I'll update my review once or if they fix themselves. Update: They have fixed the app. It is now working as it used to. I'm very grateful that they fixed it, along with replying to my review, which reminded me that I needed to update it.

Would love to actually use the app. The dropdown menu is completely unusable. I try to click "my account" and get "Find an attorney" or the magazine. That's one example, not the only example. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't help. Could be a good app but I wouldn't know because its impossible to navigate 🤷‍♀️

I usually enjoy this app but as off late, it crashes unexpectedly or crashes when you try to go back to a previous page. It must be the app because I don't have this issue with my other apps. Ended up uninstalling the app, then adding the web address to my favorites and signing in that way. Works fine and I can still stay informed. Please look into this!

Great overall I've been a member for over a year and can say that the USCCA organization is one of the more elite legal teams dealing with self defense (whether or not you're armed at the time). But the apps new update only allows me to view the most recent magazine that they have out. Previously I've been able to view the last 5 years of magazines through the app... now I can't for some reason. The app is great though, 10/10 reccomend.

Before most recent update, reciprocity map didn't work properly at all. Now the map will show the correct states honored if accessed on the "my account" tab, but if I click the "reciprocity map" tab from menu, it only shows states honored by home state permit. It says I have non-resident permit, but doesn't show the honored states. I assume this will cause issues for "alert when crossing state lines" featute. Thought this update might fix that, since the map was listed in the bug fixes.

Using this app is easy and I can see stories, news and other aspects easily. One aspect that I cannot for the life of me use which is what I got the app for initially a month ago is to complete and start my profile with USCCA. I completed making the profile but everything I try to sign in on the app it kicks me out, then I go back into the app and my account isn't signed in, I then try to sign in again and the app kicks me out again. I am currently using a Samsung S21 Ultra which is brand new.

This is generally a good app. I get a lot of interesting and useful information here. However, I recently encountered a a very frustrating issue. For some inexplicable reason. Video links used to play. And just recently quit. I get a "This video is unavailable" message when I click to play a video in an article. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app twice. That did not help.

Yea, i have to agree with the more recent reviews, this app is very buggy, couldn't login, made my top bar for time/battery life blink and never actually opened, attempting to uninstall/reinstall

I couldnt get any of the concealed carry magazines to load up-just a blank screen. And when i click on the "current issue" magazine, the app completely closes back to cell phone's home page. No training videos either. Not sure why this app exists, it doesnt really have much to offer. Best to just go to the website.

Not able to put in my home state and out of state permits with expiration dates. It just reverts back to the old home state or deletes all the information I put in. And I agree about the color. At least put it to how it is on the actual website. This app is useless and it's easier, more effective, and all around better to just log into the website. This app also takes too long to load. Uninstalled.

I can't even log in. I have a valid USCCA membership login and it spins for a second before crashing. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help.

app version 1.0.29a OnePlus 6t Android 9 May 2019 security date App launches but won't let me sign in. When I try, I get a pop over that says "updating user info", but then it simply goes back to the sign in page. iOS app works fine on my iPad, only having issues on Android. EDIT: After many attempts, the app finally allowed me to log in on my OP6t. I'm leaving the original review, but upping it to 4 stars. It shouldn't be such a hassle to get logged in, but it's such great stuff after you are.

Unfortunately this app no longer works, at least on my Google Pixel 2XL. I found the app useful back when it worked, particularly the Reciprocity Map and easy access to resources. Now it simply won't open. I sent a detailed message to the listed developer contact on 1/25/2020, nearly a month ago. No reply, no response. Zero. App still won't open. I pay a monthly subscription/membership fee to USCCA, with this app a major benefit (especially the reciprocity map, as I travel).

This app has very useful information, and I enjoy being a member. However, recently the app crashes whenever you try to access the menu and the back button takes you out of the app instead of just back to the newsfeed. Hopefully future updates will resolve these issues. Still a handy resource but has become difficult to use.

Trying to sign into the app, it kicks me out of the app. I am a free user at this time.. If that matters. The app is up to date. Android 11 Reciprocity app says my email is valid but won't let me sign in either...

App won't update. Uninstalled app, but now the app will not reinstall (Samsung S21 Ultra). Please fix this problem, then I'll update my rating. Update: the new update fixed the problem. Thank you USCCA.

So was able to install the application again. I'm a little disappointed that the Reciprocity is now a separate app that is not linked. Prefer one app.

They fixed the install problem. I wish the reciprocity map hadn't been moved to a separate app.

*update* I want the thanks to the people who fix the app is working on my Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra I'm not going to give it one star because the app is useful however I noticed there's a bug and it's not letting me update it and when I try to reinstall it it's not going through hopefully this will get fixed soon as possible Currently using it on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G

I am new to this app. Just downloaded today. Anytime I try to create an account or login, the app just shuts down. Any tips? I'm gonna give the app 5 stars because I believe they have good intentions but definitely needs some work in the meantime.

I love this app. Unfortunately my husband and I have different phones and the app will not download at all.UPDATE... It works great now!!

This review is on the app, not USCCA. The app crashes every time I try to use the recipitory map. If I click on something it doesn't like it just closes. If I try to use the toggle switch for my permit information the app crashes. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no help. Hope a fix is coming soon.

Dose what it's supposed to do except when I try and log in to my account it just closes the app and upon reopening I'm not logged in. Using Galaxy S22+

Could be so much more, I'm new to the content and there is so much info covered in the app. would be great if the videos and info was searchable. the newsfeed is too cumbersome for newbies and overwhelming. would love to see a section for readable materials and videos seperated but linked for continuity.
