USGS Earthquake Data

This was excellent. As of today the app is unusable because ad content covers it. Wrote developers it seems their website is messed up also. Hope can fix. Using bookmark of USGS website on homescreen instead. This info is important for anyone traveling the USA along with wildfire info and of course weather warnings from appropriate sources. Please support govt services such as this and good solid apps that bring them to us.

App used to work great. Doesn't work at all now. Uninstalling now.

The app used to be so easy to use. You could select the magnitude EQ you want info on and then a world atlas would pop up. All you had to do was select the dot which indicated a quake and you would get the info. Now you have to scroll through a list of quakes and then select one of interest before seeing the map. To make it even worse every time you go back to the list it takes you back to the top of the list. Bottom line, it is no longer user friendly.

I was looking for more of the world map feature available on the website where you can look at all of the recent earthquakes and click on the ones that interest you, the most. Online they are sorted by dot size and color to tell how recent and what size. That's what I was hoping to find here but no such luck.

Having access to a long list of earthquakes is almost worthless. After an earthquake we cannot make a 'Did you feel it' report. We can't look at a map (on a Note 3) to see shake activity or browse around the world. Honestly, when a big one does hit, we will all reach for our phones. I can't emphasize enough how many kids you could reach with an interesting, engaging app. Time to catch up, this app does not reflect the tremendous work and insight USGS is known fow worldwide. 18F to the rescue! :)

Does not work correctly for some features which I would like. If you click on the Past Day Mag 2.5+ what comes up is 2.5 for the past hour with no data displayed. EDIT: the three dots that we might use for preferences does not work.

Installed this because of local quake. The list of quakes is visible, but clicking on any quake for details and the app crashes.

Last time I used this app it worked like a champ, now it won't display any information about earthquakes at all.

It used to work, then it stopped and gives an error code ..something about invalid mime blah blah. have tried reinstalling 3 times in past 10 days.

I like the old version where u could see the world And as it happened. It was live and yes I'm on my phone which is good enough to be my computer. I loved your old app

This was one of my favorite apps. Now I am deleting it off all my device's. Please fix and I'll be back.

Launch was great and flawless with good functionality. Now its useless. This sailors transferring ships. Adios

This app simply does not work at all and all i get is an extremely patronizing "oops" message telling me the page cannot be found heavily implying this is my fault. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Just downloaded this about a week ago. A friend highly recommended it. However, the app says it cannot connect to the website, or something along those lines. Is this due to our congress hating science and the site was shut down or is there another issue?

Well, the site has been "temporarily unavailable" for two days now. Went through an earthquake the other night and got more info from Twitter than this app. I'm deleting it.

Would be better if we could see a certain area, not everthing. 5 stars if we could pick an area and zoom in on the map as well as see all earthquakes over the last week or so for a area.

When i press past day hestory ,it comez with past hour history..i hd reinstall bt theres same problem .

Something is wrong with the app. Constantly getting an error message when I click any link.

U see bunch of description of earthquakes. U select one. U select map and that is the only earthquake u see....poor

Ah,... I think you need to recompile your software. Application link to the USGS is broken.

We know they purposefully hide info. Thus this app is worthless
