As a product I think this is great alongside Uworld for step 1 prep. However, the app doesn't allow me to view questions in the study stream mode and express videos mode on an Android phone. This Needs to be fixed. It will make it more convenient.

Not worth accessing as nothing compared to website capabilities. Flash cards not linked to other materials such as videos bricks and exam questions. Both Android and apple apps are pretty useless.

Very good app. I would have rated 5 stars if i could access smart notes with my android device. Please add the Smart Notes feature to the android app too.

Best used daily. Love the fact that it's got short lectures over things I struggle with, there are lots of questions, and the flash facts! Oh those are the best! And it's in the app so it can go with me where ever. 5mins to study, ok fine I'll do flash facts while I wait for the dentist/doctor/kids.

I wish it had a progress bar like on online version. Otherwise, perfect.

Used to be pretty bad not gonna lie (it was ugly and clunky), there was a recent update however that has made this app an amazing alternative to hitting the spacebar on your computer. It's a lot easier to access different categories and the flashcards have become a lot smoother. Its easier to access other parts of rx as well now. Viewing the actual first aid pages are still a little weird. After a card comes up, you can click to view the page in FA but it doesnt seem to be formatted for mobile.

There is a lot of extra information in the express videos ( as compared to corresponding first aid topics ) , so please provide some already made notes for express videos if possible! Thank you

I LOVE Rx as a learning resource. It has really been a game changer for my time and efficiency BUT I cannot say the same about the app. WHY does It not have the highlight and annotate function. It also doesn't give you the option (like the website does) to refer to Qmax, Express Vids or Flashcards when on a certain FA page. The whole point of Rx is to easily be able to integrate all your resources and I'd really like efficiency In that the most when I'm on the go trying to use my time well

The app does not have the same feel as when used in a browser. A lot of integrations are unavailable on the app but present when used on a laptop browser. It will be better if the app designers can replicate the feel from the browser on the app so that users can get the best from the app. There should be good integration of links to watch videos, play flash facts, answer questions from Bricks and many more integrations like that. I prefer to use a browser on my laptop to using the app

Qs are a bit odd in formatting. Also blocks are not succinct enough or phone friendly. Maybe make a high yield guide with mnemonics that is available on apps. Quick review guides are helpful. Have a way to mark questions bc the bug doesn't show questions marked until you move off the question. Allow a quick way to extract notes from a question into an error log. Then allow each Q set to have an error log or have one doc as an error log that can be exported. Not full Qs just explanation summary.

While the overall quality of the app is fair, I must state one or two glitches. I have had challenges when taking timed tests in that the app refuses to accept my answer for some questions after going working through all the questions in the test. At the time the test ends, it incorrectly says I have unanswered questions. That's rather discouraging. In addition, I have noticed typos in some of the answers. This should be kindly reviewed. Thanks.

This is a good browser app, but for mobile it isn't good. It only has the flashcards and videos. The videos are good, but the flashcards are the worst. They are just cards that ask you to recite terribly long lists of stuff. Without the text the app is basically useless to me.

The only issue is that you cannot increase the playback speed of the express videos to more than 1x. This does not help when someone wants to do their revision using rx videos.

They just released a version where I can annotate, still there are many features like smart notes which I can't use at app version. I hope newer version will include all features available in desktop mode.

Wish you could highlight while reading each case. It would be especially useful for people studying from tablets and closer to the original USMLE experience. A great app in any case!

Highly recommended platform. It has lot to improve your skills and master every bit of medicine 👏

Great app! Something I would find beneficial for this app is adding the option to increase or decrease the speed of the videos as it will be useful when re-watching a video for review.

(I have Step1 Q max only subscription) I am trying 40 questions timed test, marking answers for each question, but at the end of the hour it is showing that I have answered none!!! So the result is Correct = 0, incorrect = 40, un-answered = 40!!! This is ridiculous! You can make it more simple and add 1 liner answer at the time of reviewing. You can take a look of BMJ OnExam app for MRCP for it's simplistic interface.

It was good ... But the only thing that the app lacks is the ability to be able to highlight the QMax Question. like a highlighter tool that is present on the normal Desktop version

Not working. I cannot login to my app

Moh. G. Mar 18, 2021

Thank you for the newest update! My issues regarding the screen timeout and highlight feature have been added. Love the constant updates from the app development team! Keep up the awesome work!

I like USMLE-RX step 2 questions and explanations but App constantly crashes if I go to my other tabs or apps on my tablet. I have to pause the block and exit the app. App also doesn't have Highlights option. My device is Samsung tab s3.

The app works well for all the functions that it has. Adding support for full screen view on your phone or even Chromecast would make it perfect!

Abd. B. Nov 1, 2018

The app is a bit slow. When I go over flash cards it doesn't always respond to touch, need to press 4-5 times before the cards flip. The q max isn't saving my answers

Very solid app with great online integration. Invaluable for USMLE preparation.

Jer. R. Dec 30, 2021

Excellent app, I love being able to do practice questions anywhere!

Bri. R. Jul 24, 2019

I used USMLE RX to study for step 1. I liked it a lot, the only thing I would change is doing the interface more like the actual exam. the content is well written and fhe explanations are very detailed.
