Is this a good tool to review concepts important to Step 1? Yes. Explanations are great, though some need to be polished. Concepts tested are clear. Is this a good tool to Master Step 1? No. The questions are too easy to simulate Step 1; and the clinical vignettes are not always board style questions. Ultimately, though, this can be a powerful app to use alongside more intense Qbanks like Kaplan, Qmax, or Uworld. I wish, though, that the clinical vignettes were also grouped into their relevant topics. Most Qbanks have a way to sort questions by topic AND organ system. This does not. Some questions have typos. There is no way to report individual questions that are poor or poorly written.
This is a nice app that can use a lot more advancement. For one, there is no ability to highlight questions. Also, the question vignet isn't shown on the same page as the question itself. The user interface could definitly use imporvments and it would make sense if they start implimenting the FRED interface that the test is written in so that there is a familiarity factor. All the other qbanks such as Kaplan and UWORLD use this interface.

It's not dia"P"etes and it's not m"Y"osis !! Half an hour into this app and already so many editing mistakes . If you are making money atleast try to present professionally, my 2 cents. App is fine though.
Whenever I have 5 or 10 minutes free time I bust this app out and answer some questions. Way better use of my time than Facebook!
Very practical!
This is an excellent tool for the first start up for usmle step 1. Well written questions with good explanations, medical objectives and mnemonics. The draw back is that a great deal of the questions are not readable because the prints are faded. That was a fraustration to me . Otherwise good app in general. I recommend it.

This app. really good for starting in USMLE study. But just to start learning. Worse than other top test apps. Although by comparison, their NBDE exam app is great. But the price is completely different. I think for this low cost, a very useful application.
