Celebrating 50 years on the beautiful Mobile Bay in Mobile, AL from 1965-2015. Battleship Memorial Park is home to Battleship USS Alabama (BB-60), Submarine USS Drum (SS-228), over 25 historic aircraft spanning 9 decades of American aviation, war memorials, various military equipment and more.
With the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park app, you can explore what life was like aboard the USS Alabama during World War II. Find out how many ships the USS Drum sank in enemy waters. Love the USS Alabama
I visited the ship several times while I lived in New Orleans, and the pictures and ship tours did a great job of letting me see everything again even though I now live in Santa Fe, NM.
Needs more info in a lot of exhibits. And some info given is just wrong. Great place to visit!
Love this app! When I'm here at home, I can at least pretend I'm visiting the Mighty A until I can visit again!
Great way to show the entire family a way of life for the Navy
Useful while visiting the park and afterwards.
Really gives less useful information than they could have fit on a sign. Mostly just statistics.
It is handy to learn more while touring...could be a lot better...interactive -- pictures with popup explanations, bulleted facts etc.
