UTA GoRide

App is very poorly developed and I cannot link my Uta pass to make it so I can use my phone to get on and off transit. It states it's possible but I cannot figure it out after over a hour of trying. Better off doing everything in person at a station then this app, all you can do is buy single way tickets for frontrunner and day passes for Trax. Don't recommend to anyone.

The features of this app do not represent what is advertised in the Play Store or on the UTA website. The only thing the app can do is purchase single use tickets or day passes. The trip planner simply redirects to the Google Maps app with no route info. Fare options such as monthly passes are advertised as available in the app, but they are not found anywhere. While also advertised, the FrontRunner fee reduction from a Trax or bus transfer has never functioned for me, resulting in overcharging.

This app sucks, especially if you're near a hospital where internet connection can be blocked. It has doubled ticketed me and rarely works where I actually need it. I thought it would be convenient, but what's convenient is having cash to pay. You'd think it would be reliable when you have A ALREADY paid for the ticket, but not if your app decides different. And by the way, the driver that I have been dealing with at that stop could care less. Whatever happened to having friendly bus drivers?

Weak app! The only thing this app is good for is purchasing a ticket BUT not all ticket types are even available (Frontrunner round-trip or all day, for example). No system map. No schedule. No link to any of that really helpful stuff. I just downloaded the app but will uninstall. Hopefully the app is improved because as it is, it's lacking.

Horrible app! I had a previous account that had unused balance, now Its gone and I can't access it at all. I haven't used UTA since late 2o18. They updated the app and I can't change the number or pin in settings, only way to verify an account is with text message. Why not email? Some people change phone numbers.

There is no option for round trip Trax only, nor for one way bus only, nor for round trip Frontrunner. These are ticket options that exist if you buy them on the bus or at the station kiosk. I shouldn't have to pay more to buy my ticket on the app. Tap stations on the bus and at the station are equipped for this app, so UTA is without excuse for omitting these ticket options.

One problem is if you change internet connection to data it will make you sign in again--a.k.a. verify your number with text again (usually it's right as I'm getting on the bus to pull up my day pass... which just makes things awkward). But overall it's more convenient than some other options.

If all you want is to buy your ticket, great! that's all it does. But no routes are shown. most frustrating to me is that there's no way to link it to my card. So while as a student I get free fare on UTA, I'm fricked if I lose my ID/pass. Wish we could just use the app fir that and Farepay. :( I got stranded an hour from home in the summer heat because I forgot my ID and didn't have my other cards either and had to wait for 1.5 hours for rescue.

Good initiative to buy tickets online and go paperless however you have to use a different app to check where the bus is and see the trip timing which is really frustrating. Definitely must integrate everything into one.

The app functions for buying fares, but that's about it. my contactless credit card did the same thing, but didnt require fumbling around my my phone or a separate app. If UTA is going to make me use their payment system instead of mine, they should be offering a discount.

Pretty good, the workflow can be a little confusing if you don't use the APP frequently. Buying a full day pass on Front Runner was a little confusing, but figured it out after exploring for a few minutes.

This app has made my life so much easier. I don't have to stress on whether I misplaced my ticket or not having one because the ticket machines do not get fixed for weeks. Also the bus drivers seem much more accepting of the ticket that is active on your phone than they are more untrusted of the ones that are printed out or the transfers. After months of free rides and compassion shown by UTA the norm seems to be treated as someone who is trying to rip off UTA than a valuable customer.

I couldn't even buy a ticket. I clicked add to cart and it said the app had crashed. I tried unistalling, force stopping, everything. Making it possible to buy on the website would be nicer.

bring back the old trip planner. this app implies that if you install it you will be able to see routes and schedules and be able to plan what and when you need to do to reach your destination, but after installing you find that all you can use it for is to purchase tickets.

I don't know what they have done on the Android app but the expiration date of the credit card does not update liking every other app. :{

Seriously a shocking piece of garbage app. It won't even let me look to see the schedule without signing on and clicking that I want to buy a ticket. I don't want to buy a ticket. I want to check for the schedule is. It will not let me do this. This is truly an inexcusable poor app. Whoever was in charge of this should be fired.

Make it possible to be able to use multiple devices for your account without it locking you out. Not friendly at all. I pay for my nieces bus rides and i refuse to keep my card number on an account that isnt my account. I use my account on her phone and purchase tickets for her but then get locked out of my account for re accessing the app on my phone.

This app doesn't work without internet, even the monthly passes don't load. This needs to be addressed asap.

Not sure why all the hate in the reviews. This app ain't bad! I usually use a farepay card, but I forget my wallet every now and then and this comes in handy. It does feel like a poor solution compared to what they could do. Why not make farepay link to Google pay or Apple pay and use via NFC? Even just put NFC in this app?

what happened to this app? I used to ride the frontrunner and trax to and from work daily with a pass (before Covid)... the app used to map out my route with times of arrival/departure, but now it wants me to buy a ticket and offers no other functions. GARBAGE!

Needs some quality of life improvements. INCREASE font size. Bus drivers want to be able to read text without squinting. INSTRUCTIONS what do I do show driver after I buy??

This app is straight forward. I use it to buy a ticket and skip the ticketing machine. Especially, if I'm in a hurry. I'm hoping that the farepay card will have a similar app.

Your app doesn't work, no update, I Uninstalled thinking I could reinstall it and it won't do anything now. Please fix this. Thank you

I installed the app and as I was setting it up and logging in it said I needed to accept a call to set up parking. When the call came in it was a north Carolina phone number. Why? Uninstalling

this last update is a joke. I'm in an update loop where I do the update, have to delete 30-200 mb to do so, and within a day I have to do the same thing over again. I don't see why I have to delete all of my apps and pics just to buy a bus ticket.

I'm trying to sign in and whenever I try to send a confirmation text, it won't text me. I even tried another number, and that didn't get anything either

I have no issues with this app. it's so much easier to buy my FR ticket and I don't have to fumble with the ticket kiosk.

Crashes everytime I try and buy a ticket. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix it. Phone is Motorola stylus 5g

Awful app, I had a ticket in use and the app logged me out. This has happened 2 times now. And I've lost 5 tickets.

Why does the website say a one way ride on frontrunner is $2.50 but when I try to use the app to buy the ticket, it wants to charge me $5?
