UTC Time

1) As of July 2011 most ntp applications did not work under Android 2.3 2) Lots of time applications like Sideral Clock or TAI Clock present wrongly UTC when actually displaying Android system time that's GPS-disciplined in most phones (Android bug 5485). Since most Android phones are 15 seconds fast as a result, this application is a must.

It works, but needs some serious updates. Sun map doesn't display on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8013). Screen doesn't rotate on my tablet, and that is a big nusicence. A choice of skins would be nice. Please fix these and get 5 stars.

All I wanted was a widget with UTC, which this app would have been good for, but the widget lags behind the phone time. When I click on it, it shows the correct time on the app but not on the widget. Since this app hasn't been updated since 2011 I'm assuming the developers have given up on it. I will uninstall and try a different one.

Widget does not keep up with time. Map does not work.. call sign reminder would be nice.

Useful and simple- exactly what I need. The function is great, although the widget itself is visually lacking. Would be nice if the widget was upgraded to match the Holo look, or was customizable by the user.

Myself I am NOT concerned with cute little bells and whistles and colors and frames and backgrounds what I look for is a functioning product I needed a widget that gave me a clear indication of the UTC time on my phone the widget does exactly that on my home screen. I have no complaints thank you very much for the product. However I probably would not pay for this product. And if I had popups jumping on top of my phone from it I would certainly uninstall it and probably lower my score here. Made to simple

Kinda lame like that. Time freezes on widget far too often. It's an okay app but the developmentruth is clearly not complete.

We know the sunshine/nighttime map doesn't work, but did you know setting your device to a right-to-left language will make the UTC clock widget read “95:32” instead of “23:59”? The pool of NTP servers is vast, but not quite as reliable a list as users may be led to believe. Crude, but functional. An update isn't needed, but would be welcome.

Theres problems with the widgit. It stops working and to make it work again you have to remove it and then put it back. I emailed them like they said they wanted and no response.

Gives up to date, accurate UTC time from a time server, not just a time zone conversion off the phone's clock. Device error is a great way of knowing just how accurate your clock is. Sun map doesn't load on Nexus S.

I really like this app. It's easy to use, clear, and confugurable. This would great if the widget had seconds. What's the point of having nist accuracy if you don't show seconds.

Nexus 5 stopped working since an update during KitKat.No support provided after multiple emails.

Love the clock. Use it for ham radio contacts for accurate time of initial contact. Would give 5 stars for app if sun map would load, Just continuously loading on droid RAZR HD. Otherwise great app.

Simple, but does the job. Love the ability to compare phone/network time to NIST internet time. Some widget settings would be nice though.

Everything works but the sun map, which I could care less. Overall this app is great. It displays the UTC on my home screen and I love it.

This app is great for giving me the UTC Time for when I'm working amateur radio and making contacts.

Didn't work on my Moto Devour. It would show itself for a second or two, then shut off again.

Cannot even update de time to your device. Only show your, not change.

Device time is always off by a second or two. Using this as a reference clock, I can set my other clocks quickly and accurately.

Shows time and offset very accurately. The widget is a little buggy and the sun map will not display on the Droid 4. Otherwise a 5 star rating. Developer has not replied to e-mail from about two weeks ago on these nits.

Excellent item for the home screen. Quickly gives me the phone error difference and i have access to the world time standards if something in the NATP goes elsewhere losing that one for a while. Good show maite!

I just added this app, took a little to figure some things. Seems OK for now, however, I can't set the widget to my time zone, only shows Zulu. Samsung Epic 4G

Fundamentally, the app provides the time availability functions I require; however, the permanent display of the widget is a primary interface use case yet the widget is so minimally functional as to seem like the developer doesn't care about the user.

But the widget itself does not appear to update, kind of pointless having to go into the app everytime to check zulu time, makes the widget useless as the app shortcut has the same function. Dont see why the widget isnt a functional clock.

This is exactly what I was looking for in an app like this. It is simple, it works, and it doesn't require a bunch of special permissions. Thank you to the developer.

Doesn't show correct time The widget clock time freezes in spite of the internet connection being on. Once you open the app, the correct UTC time is shown but the widget time isn't updated.

Works good but map never loads even on wifi. Please fix. Motorola Triumph

Please add a placard on the widget's digital clock to label it UTC or Z time, to avoid mistaking it for local time.
