ABOUT
VILLAGE

BY THE GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Weigh:

a. that the village has the right origin and traditional right to regulate and manage the interests of the local community and contribute to realize the ideals of independence by the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945;
b. that in the course of state administration of the Republic of Indonesia, the Village has evolved in various forms that need to be protected and empowered in order to be powerful, advanced, independent, and democratic so as to create a solid foundation in implementing governance and development towards a just, prosperous, and prosper;
c. that village in the composition and procedures of governance and development need to be governed by the laws;
d. that based on the considerations referred to in paragraphs a, b and c have to establish the Law of the Village;

: Article 5 paragraph (1), Article 18, Article 18B paragraph (2), Article 20 and Article 22D paragraph (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945;
