uVocab - Vocabulary Trainer

Hello developer. This is the best app i have come across so far . No irritating ads. Best selected words. User friendly. I recommend this app to all my friends who are preparing for any exam. In terms of making vocabulary base strong it's the best app....keep it up

Good but not best because favorite items marked deleted automatic and can't be retrive. Same happened to failed words too.

Limited vocabulary and the "Test Feedback" function is inoperative. No app updates since 2014!

Love it but there should be a feature to export/save a random word list so you can study non-alphabetically. The current random feature doesn't remember previous words. Also I wish testing would test words in your inventory only once. Sometimes the same word appears only after two or three go by, and sometimes not every word appears that you have studied.

So far I really enjoy this app however it does have few flaws. The list of vocabulary is not as extensive/complete as Merriam dictionary and also the definitions for some words are not very comprehensive. A feature that indicates exactly how many favourite words are saved would be convenient. The audio feature of this app is active even in the absence of WiFi connection whereas it's the opposite in Merriam dictionary.

So easy to learn with the quizzes, favourites etc BUT I had a problem unselecting favorite word. Once you make a word favourite I couldnt unfavourite it. Also please enable hyperlinks to words so that if I click any synonym or antonymn word it takes me right to its definition

Its a good app, but it could use some work. Pros: Offline, neat layout, free, includes examples and etymology, has ability to favorite words Cons: changes layout of my android buttons (?), customizable home page (wish we could choose the landing page), difficult search button (has a beautiful test bank but the search button a bit out of reach), animated background (for someone who enjoys a simple layout, the animated background adds little aesthetic pleasure and a bit irritating.)

Advance but contains extra information. There must be written like, adjective, verb or nouns etc. Etymology is extra. Simple sentences my rise its rate . Almost examples sentences are wrong Add more options. Please update the app by adding simple sentences besides the tricks n tips of learning.

Impressive variety and entertaining, but I would like to see the choices I selected, particularly the incorrect selections on the final sbmitoon page.. Verb, noun identification would be useful. I wish the incorrect selection with correct meanings would be automatically added to a 'study' list.

This is a great, simple and efficient app, that's worth the free (Yay!) download. There's a large library of words and you can favourite them, so you can go back and look at them. I really like this app; my only suggestion to make it better, is a search option, so we can search for a word that we maybe heard through out the day and would like to learn the meaning of. Maybe there is one already but if so I missed it.

My favorite list got lost after updating my phone's OS. Revision is like an investment. I would highly appreciate the developers if they could provide some backup of our favorite words, or the failed words for revision.

I tried different apps, but this one is certainly the best option for learning new vocab. The available options and good vocabulary level are impressive.

Good quiz, great matching game, but not enough customization like difficulty level. Or commonly used words would be awesome.

perfect app for what I need it for, except there are some words I've searched for and did not appear. I read a book and add words I don't know to my favorites on this app and I quiz myself. I also try to use them when I talk to others in texts. ....

This app is really great. It helps you to built great vocab and and the icing on the cake is you can also give test coz what get measured get improve.

I always use this app this is one of the best app over here but 4 stars just to make u realise that u should make ur definitions and examples easier so people who really don't know proper English even they can understand the examples..tnx I hope u will work on that:)

I think this app has a huge flaw: looking up words is needlessly difficult. If you add a search box to the home screen of the app, looking up words can become much easier, therefore the app can act (and be advertised) as a quick dictionary as well as a vocabulary trainer.

Beautiful app. But questions in test are repeating. And i would like to create my own lists of words. Pls update or else my rating descends.

I wanted a list of words that aren't as common in the English language, but common enough where it would behoove someone to know giving the main brief definition of the word. I like the new upgrades they made (having the definition on display so you don't have to click on the word and now the sound for pronunciation works and it remembers where i left out and if i want to get a deeper definition i can just click. Great app. Lots of words, and the failure list is a very useful feature. One cool feature to add would be setting a difficulty level for browsing mode.

Helps a lot in traversing for different words. Has lot of options . Just Download and Explore . Also Thankful for the Development Team for providing this app for FREE ;)

Tests, etymolgy, flash cards are best features of this app. Also references to examples provided. Has access to different dictionaries via app. Tends to learn more and more. Very helpful app.

The best app so far... I have tried many word building apps... Earlier I have sticked with wordlist app but later when I found this, I got addicted to this app. App is so smooth and light. Performance wise, interface wise, content wise 5 star

It has everything to improve English.. Like pronouncing mic, we can use favourite button to choose important words..

method should have a option of displaying the correct answer instantly if the answer submitted is wrong. Other options displaying test results at the end are common functions.. And the overall app is fantastic...)
