Mobile deposit isn't the same since they changed logo. So there must have been some update that effected the app. When I want to deposit i can't take image from the app. I have to take the picture separately and then go into my galleries to attach. I don't like doing that because it goes into my phones memory even if I delete. I don't feel secured with this process where before I didn't feel that way because the pic went right into the app. I even checked permissions, all good there. Need to fix

Completely unusable. I can log in through the website fine, but trying to login via the app results in a generic "An error occurred" message with a button to "Contact Us". In a cruel twist, the "Contact Us" button requires you to log in. So I get stuck in a perpetual "you can't login, do you want to login?" loop. I've tried the basic troubleshooting steps of clearing the app's cache and storage and completely uninstalling the app.

Impossible to login as reported by other users. The login button flashes but does nothing when pressed. I contacted support, but developers suspiciously claimed this is not a problem for anyone else according to their logs (despite other similar issue reports here on the play store). They faulted my web browser settings, but offered no help as to what that meant. Everything I know of has been defaulted, un/reinstalled. This was all working fine for years prior to the last update. Please fix.

Does little more than the web app. Mobile deposit doesn't allow pictures and support rotates through the standards: enable camera, uninstall, etc to no avail. Further, contacting support goes to a new person each time and they do not appear to review the previous messages so you get a lot of the same suggestions again and again until you give up. Support through attrition.

truly one of the worst apps. crashes often. will stop working when i move from one data source to another. works about 500% worse than any other app i have on my phone. it's not so much that the app fails spectacularly often. rather, it has a few mildly annoying quirks that slowly wear you down.

Overall, the app works but the main problem is the mobile deposit. I told UW that the mobile deposit needs the ability to activate the use of the led Flash as lighting. Without that, the phone can create shadows over the check and it's very difficult for the pictures to be accepted. All other banks that I have the mobile deposit work seamlessly, and in those, the Flash works or the LED of the phone lights up to provide better lighting to the check. As soon as they fix this, the app will work.

The app used to work fine, but then the mobile deposit broke, and when I tried the whole rigmarole of restarting and uninstalling and reinstalling, the whole app literally wouldn't even open again. I'm not going to sit around on the phone with tech support to try to install an app that barely functions anyway, especially since the other recent reviews mention similar issues, so I just give up. Fix your app, UWCU.

Works for the most part, but mobile check deposits do not work since UWCU rebranded with a new logo (the #1 reason I have used any bank's app). Instead of opening your camera, the app opens your file explorer. I'm not going to write "For Mobile Deposit Only at UW Credit Union" on a check when there are so many issues. This problem is widely reported but there is no acknowledgement that the problem is with the app.

"The full UW credit union experience" Money link has been broken for at least a week. And i cannot even load my transactions page at all. Error has occurred trying to set up new links, and im sick of all the secure messages screens i see. If im not looking for my messages its implied i dont want to see them now, and dont need a reminder while im trying, and failing, to do something else.

Not sure why people are complaining about the app. If you can't use your phone, throw it in the garbage. The app is really easy to use. It has a lot of features for your banking. Security on this app is modern, including fingerprint scanner and pin for your account. Works great on Android 9. Devs did an amazing job. Thanks!

This used to be a fantastic app, and I used it daily. But, since updating to Android 10, it no longer opens. Cleared all data, and reset permissions, but it force-closes immediately upon opening. I'm anxiously waiting on an update that's compatible with the newest system coming out. C'mon UWCU, get your devs on it! I need my banking app back! 😁

Rare full fledged banking app. Unlike citi or some other huge banks, the UWCU app delivers you all of their features through their app which is amazing. fingerprint, moneylink, mobile deposits all work really well. I take 1 star off because the recent redesign imo was not a step forward. We lost a nightmode of sorts and now the logo is watermarked on your accounts summary screen.

Updating to provide more useful feedback. Love the bank. Hate the new look. Needed changes: dark mode option. Staggered shades of background to quickly differentiate between accounts or charges. New logo redesign wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe let people vote on a new design, seeing as your priority is to please the customers. Improved rating to reflect functionality.

This app is going steadily downhill. it is error-prone and glitchy, and while you were one of the first to offer mobile deposit, since your "new look" was unveiled, it only works some of the time. If you had invested more in app development and testing and less in logo design maybe it would actually work.

Mobile Deposit is a hoax. It doesn't work. Literally can't take a picture of the back of my check. I press the button, and it refuses to take the pic. Not the first time I've had some weird issue with this feature, and it seems I'm the only one of my friends who experiences this. Otherwise, the app itself works about 80% of the time.

I went to turn on Push Notifications in this dumb app and it says "go to App Settings to turn on Push Notifications," so I do and it brings me back to the same place that told me to go to app settings. Let me turn on post notifications in the Notifications Settings Menu so I can be notified for every time my card is declined due to your "fraud protection".

The app keeps crashing. Unable to deposit a check on the app, when I go to take a photo it only allows me to import a picture from the photos but then the app crashes when selecting an image. Other than just seeing the balance the app is useless.

This app used to be ok. However, I just tried to mobile deposit a check and had 2 main issues. 1. The camera on my Pixel 3a XL did not activate. Instead the app would only get pictures from my storage, even after I denied the app access to my storage. 2. It now requires a "for UW credit union Mobile deposit only" be written on the check. I have had this app fail to properly read a check in the past and signing the phrase would invalidate the check if the app failed to function. This needs fixing!

When it works, it's great! But on three separate occasions, I have not been able to use the mobile deposit feature, because the app shuts down when I get to the point of taking a pic of the back of the check. And the nearest branch is an hour away from me, so when I can't use mobile deposit, I'm screwed! I have sent feedback repeatedly, but to no avail. Please, please fix this!

This is a great app, when it works. I've been using it for years without issue. However, I recently did a factory reset on my android, and now the app will not work at all. Tech support acknowledged a lot of people have the same issue and there's nothing that can be done. :P

1/10 times does the deposit check feature work. Usually fails on the second image. App crashed and I have to log in again and re do the whole process for it to fail again. Absolutely terrible user experience
